Even as terrible and undesirable Abacha was, he still reasons better than Buhari and spoke the same sense thus: "When insurgence lasts more than 48 hrs, the government clearly has a hand in it."....... Gen. Sanni Abacha. It was no news that he made sure no one tried to threaten the sustenance of his government and by extension some semblance of peace in the polity. Either you're the military or civilian, the moment you raise some dusts that could potentially lead to something like Boko Haram or Herdsmen wahala, the dude wasted no time to "off" the person. It's the way he went about it that is inhumane. He literarily eliminates them, and that is understandable in a military regime although it is still more about the individual at the seat of power than the system of government itself. That is why Thomas Sankara even though a military touched the lives of his people more positively than any civilian government there till date. It's same reason why Buhari though in a civilian garb still displays military highhandedness, dictatorship, barefaced nepotism and also tacit support for insurgency and Fulani herdsmen menace. It is who Buhari is. I voted him in 2015 because GEJ that I agitated for to be substantiated as president following Yar'adua's demise was turning out to be a monster. Of course 2 years down the line, Buhari too was already showing signs of malignancy and turning into another Frankenstein's monster, hence my disapproval of him in 2018 and up till now. He will leave, he likes it or not, by 2023. The vicious animal he nutured while in presidency will eat him up once he is out and Nigerians will be happy to see him used for dinner. I hope in 2023, if this country still exists as one - preferably I wish everyone goes their ways or at least a deal of regional government happens, Nigerians have good candidates on the table and are willing to cast their votes for such. PataAlhajaKeji:It's sad the way Nigerians analyse situations, and that is what the political elite (oppressors) majors on to divide the commonly oppressed. A hungry man or poor man will likely have no chance for critical analysis because his immediate need is to fill his stomach. Hence anything that is offered to him to partially defeat that hunger will be gold. Even if he is asked to kill his own mother in order to be fed, he will likely do it without critical analysis or questioning that condition. The politicians know that the presence of the middle class is what drives people to challenge the political class. And even though a middle class drives development as well, the political class prefers to sacrifice development on the alter of perpetuation of parochial interest and greed. That is why the government is seriously waging war to make sure that the middle class is defeated, eliminated and finally keep everyone not in their caucus in the lowest rung of the social strata. You see, the last endsars protest at its inception defied all logic and plans of the political class. There was UNIFICATION of the conveners and the participants. The sense of BROTHERHOOD and COMMON INTEREST awed and scared the leaders who saw that a continuation of that threatens their very own existence and relevance. Videos abound online showing overwhelmed and defeated thugs that escaped the protest venues in unmarked SUVs that are truly government vehicles. Participants and even non participants who sustained collateral inconvenience or damage resulting from sponsored hoodlums that attacked were promptly compensated financially by pooled funding. Smashed car windscreens were repaired, participants who fell ill were attended to, private securities were provided and the momentum was one to beat. The UNITY was a threat to the oppressors. Having failed in the initial wave of hoodlums deployment to disrupt the peaceful protests, the government's next strategy was to freeze major conveners bank account in order to stifle sustenance of the protest, but that failed as funding moved to another platform entirely out of reach of the government. The last resort was major confrontation by the security operatives - the politician's major tool of subjugation and intimidation of the masses (oppressed) of which you, your widow neighbour and I belong. This time it was to be total decimation with the use of extreme force, disregarding every form of Rules of Engagement. It was an illegal venture by the government, hence the reason it was all shrouded in secrecy, subtlety and under the cover of darkness. The CCTVs and the killing of ambient lights of the toll gate are in support of this fact! This time around, the losses will be more than broken windshields, dented cars or even broken limbs, that can all be repaired or replaced. With this new onslaught by the military (sent in by the government/politicians), loves will be lost. A dead person cannot be revived, lost lives are irreplaceable. Your government knows that very well and knows that this will justifiably spike emotions through the roof. What they didn't envisage was that the emotions will be directed more against them, not by the original conveners but now by the their hoodlums who will now see everything as a free for all. Hence the target of politicians, their properties and the police (who had been their tool) in the next phase of uncoordinated, free for all protest that followed. Many of these politicians escaped into neighouring countries or stayed right there in Abuja, fearing for their lives to come to their properties. Mr. Macaroni was one of those hit by the more emotional and irreplaceable or irreparable "loss of life" event of a government sponsored "terrorism". He realized that he couldn't fight to bring back the lost live but he could at least fight for justice thru the arbitration panel. Shockingly, the same panel approved the re-opening of the scene of execution of his loved one before any form of appeasement, arbitration or even justice was served. How insensitive! Your own loss was that of your widowed neighbour who lost not her life nor that of anyone close to her, but her shops looted. These are replaceable items, which pooled funding can promptly address. Mr. Macaroni's bereavement is incomparable. But according to the play script of the oprressors (government/politicians), you have exuded your emotion against your likes that you are being oppressed together and instead in support of your oppressors. This is the classical Stockholm's syndrome. Everyone has losses in the path of struggle, albeit in varying degrees. What the oppressors dread is UNITY of PURPOSE from the oppressed. But if we all have/focus our eyes on the prize and the future enjoyment that will result from our struggle like our heroes past did, then we will overcome the oprressors. Starve a chicken for many days and when you maltreat it it, it still sees you as the saviour. Taking opportunity of Stockholm's syndrome is a major past time of the political class. You have clearly fallen into that trap. |
Daura Secret Service (DSS) Have you discovered the source of arms used by the Fulani herdsmen yet? Have you been able to find the location of Shekau "She-cow" Boko haram yet? Have you been able to track and catch any Fulani kidnappers out of the sultan-confirmed 8 in 10 perps of kidnappings being Fulani in Nigeria? Nigerians know your MO already. Send in government troops to disarm the natives to render 'em defenseless, then later send in the armed Fulani herdsmen to massacre the people while the hitherto government troop look on or feign ignorance of an impending attack on the locals. This was what played out in Benue towns and villages. But this time it will not really work, for the methodologies are stale. |

His saving grace could be because he was no longer Davido's PA. Of he was still with him, he would have died too. Two closest peeps to Davido died within the past two years, one person per year. His friend who died from alleged drug OD and another of his PA that died last year. Of course both scenarios revolved around drug and booze. Please all these are circumstancial and could be at best coincidental. But it's still strongly suggestive of something sinister. |
kiekie1:I believe you have nothing against DIYers cos that's what your post potends; with subtle sneer for choice to "avoid negotiation fees". Even the experienced installer doubles as a DIYer and at one point was vulnerable to all sorts of ridiculous mistakes before getting it right. It's a different cup of tea as you stated if those who don't know claim to know cos that borders on not willing to learn, but every DIYer should be given a chance to self assert cos that's when the confidence grows. I also don't deride those who opt for "relatives" or friends to do it for them in order to save some cost. What I simply ensure is to help them vet and audit the intended equipments vis-a-vis their energy needs and help them to see if they are headed for a sure and quick disappointment and also help them outline the proper requirement if they're willing to comply. At times, I even offer to supervise their so called "relative/friend installer" during the installation and that way they get to know the trouble they escaped as the poor efficiency of their choice of installer gets laid bare for them to see. This client has of course learnt the hard way, but let's cut 'em a little slack. Going solar at any level of setup is a fairly financially demanding endeavour and fingers are not equal. But that 24v inverter on 12v battery, na wa o. The guy no even try at all. |

Pictures please. If it were Nigerians apprehended over there, their mugshots will be all over. But now it's a westerner arrested in Nigeria and you're still showing me random pictures of cuffed wrists? Are you for real?! |
Sorry. Buhari does not believe in bitcoin. You should have offered to pay him in "Bitcow". And you can be sure he'd take up the challenge and even perform beyond your expectation. |
Fahdiga:Because it is an absolute truth that bottom power can get you to places in Nigeria. doxijaw:Efforts + Good parenting + Working system = success (in the west) Efforts + Good parenting + Rotten system = Failure (in Nigeria) Enough successful candidates in WASC/NECO or Jamb that have been unable to get their dream course to study in their most admired higher institution in the country. A lot now have to go to such countries like Ghana and Ukraine to study medicine because not knowing people/personalities means they couldn't get admission into Nigerian schools. Even when you manage to get yourself your dream qualification, getting employment is another conundrum, another cup of tea entirely. If you can bribe/sleep with someone to secure employment or know someone who is high up there, it's mostly OYO for you. |
"I didn't spend not one penny to pay for the applications." This is wrong English structure though. But nonetheless, she was able to blaze that trail. Happy for her. Over there, merit is what is needed and what you can deliver in terms of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and the sky is your limit. Our politicians in Nigeria has reduced our own requirements to Thugery, Banditry, Nepostism, Cronyism, Bottom power (aka Clito-currency) and Money; and the sky is your limit. So for Nigeria, if you like sabi English pass Queen Elizabeth, e no go take una pass your papa haus. Abi how many of those legislooters and Fulanis sabi speak correct English, very few. |
Toyin Abraham's husby pack dough appreciably. As such her financial success is still attributable to her husband's wealth that rubbed off on her. It eventually boils down to the same popular opinion. The female gender cum gen-italia is the magic, the money spinner. Some people like to call it "clito-currency" I hope the FG don't wake up tomorrow to ban clito-currency like they did to cryptocurrency cos they aren't able to loot it like they loot our resources and palliatives. And why the heck is NL changing gen-italia to "instruments"? The programmers should know better that that word is not an offensive language by any stretch. It's the scientific name and not the vulgar/street connotation of the female s£xual and reproductive organ. It's just like calling the male organ the scientific name known as phallus. It does not sound vulgar. |
No problem. That is what the nepotistic Buhari still desires. This is aside from the fact that he took this hasty decision basically be side of Buratai. It is to stylishly give him sustained diplomatic cover after his removal as the COAS. But in order not to have his intention fully exposed, he had to include other nominees. Two of the five nominees are southerners while the remaining three are Northerners (majorly Fulanis). So in order to be seen as impartial, he was forced to include the two southerners. But now all he has to do is to post the two to the US and the UK, two countries that are most likely to refuse the ambassadorial nominees postes to 'em while the remaining three are sent to countries that will accept them. Gen Abayomi G. Olonisakin (rtd), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd) sent to US and UK respectively. Lt Gen Tukur Y. Buratai (rtd), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (rtd), and Air Vice Marshal Mohammed S. Usman (rtd) will be sent to countries which would accept terrorists enablers. Racoon:Well dissected. |
MURIC is yet trying to be clever by half. When Ishaq acknowledged having evidences that show heinous crimes perpetrated by herdsmen, I was expecting him to start listing it from murders, kidnapping for ransom and rape before including "damage to farmlands" a distant point on the list. But in his half-witted response, all he hammered on was the least heinous of the crime - the damage to farmlands. And please, know that this response by Ishaq is strategic. If at this time, he points out that farmers should be compensated for damaged crop, then he can come out tomorrow that government should comoensate herders for the loss of their herds. He conveniently left out the part of killings, maimings and rape of locals by the herders. This is because including that point will rubbish and tilt the farmland-herds compensation equation in favour of the farmers. So, now that it is clear as daylight that they have commited murders and kidnapping for ransom, I ask Ishaq, what amount of money can bring back the murdered locals and indigenes? |
Fáyemí will soon agitate for them to be released. He has already swapped his enthicity as Fulani cos of the presidency he aims. |
Something that the Yorubas have told him since 2 years ago, Wike is just realising it now. Even those useless duo of Káyòdé Fáyemí and Yèyé Bello of Kogi state can only smell it, but will never get to taste it. That notwithstanding, we must still ensure it doesn't stay in the North, that is if the mirage called Nigeria still exists as one by then. Nigerians can't afford another 4 harrowing years under a Fulani/Northern presidency for it is that that will avail then further entrenchment of their Fulanization agenda. |
That one na small thing. 60 million naira is just a little fraction of what the accused laundered. Faisal will send the 60 million naira back to that legislooter, and even add change join sef. That was the plan from the start. Fulanis are all citizens of Niger Republic, but are just strangers in any other West African nation especially Nigeria. That is why they can access Niger Republic as they deem fit and use the place as escape route to the US. Faisal will be a potential terrorist sponsor with the money laundered and his escape to that country is the plan gradually unfolding. So if the US cares about her security, her government should ensure they find Faisal and extradite him, no they should please jail him over there, for if they extradite him here he would be released being Fulani. olajizz01:That's nothing compared to the legalized pension theft programm of this present government. The FG under buhari has borrowed to a tune of 7 trillion naira out of the total 9 trillion naira of the pension money in the country. Will the government pay back? That's very unlikely because the government has over the years looted several monies like this: Mortgage funds, pension monies before the advent of Obasanjo's rejigged pension programme via PFAs. Before now, the pension money was managed by government institutions, the reason it was easy to loot the monies over the years. When OBJ came, he instituted hw Pension Fund Administrators and GEJ sealed the deal. They are private investors that use the pension money, so as such it is a little difficult for the government to directly dip their hands into the funds. But how did the Fulani led government go around that restriction to still be able to illegally " They've recently moved on from that to borrowing from dormant bank accounts. |
I don't exactly envy the dude's less than optimal wisdom. What happens when die hard robbers accost him and he's jumped? They'll have to pluck the stuff outta his head to have it. And that means the guy will die for that stuff to get stolen when he could have just handed it over if it was not implanted into his head. |

Microsoft has reportedly announced the setting up of a cryopreservation centre in which a scientist is researching the possibility of cancer being completely curable within a decade. Death will be optional by 2045 and aging reversible- Genetic engineers say There’s big news for life and death it seems. Two genetic engineers recently announced in their newly released book that dying and death will be ‘optional’ within just 27 years. And the aging process will be ‘reversible.’ José Luis Cordeiro, born in Venezuela to Spanish parents, and Cambridge (UK) mathematician David Wood, founders of the operating system ‘Symbian’, have just published The Death of Death. They strongly believe that immortality is a real and scientific possibility. And as a matter of fact, it could come much earlier than originally thought. Humans will only die in accidents, never of natural causes or illness, by around the year 2045, say Cordeiro and Wood. They also say it is ‘crucial’ that old age starts to be classified as an ‘illness’ so that publicly-funded research into its ‘cure’ can extend. Nanotechnology is key, among other new genetic manipulation techniques, the engineers said during the presentation at Barcelona’s Equestrian Circle. The process will involve turning ‘bad’ genes into healthy ones. It will eliminate dead cells from the body, and repair damaged cells. Treatments will occur with stem cells and ‘printing’ vital organs in 3D. Cordeiro, who is based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA, says he has ‘chosen not to die’. He further claims that in 30 years’ time, he will be ‘younger than he is today’. Aging is the result of DNA ‘tails’, known as ‘telomeres’, in chromosomes – of which every cell except red blood and sex cells has 23 pairs – becoming shorter, and reversing aging involves lengthening the telomeres. Telomeres become damaged and shortened with the passage of time. This process speeds up in the event of toxins entering the body. Smoking, alcohol and air pollution are among elements that reduce the length of telomeres, thus accelerating aging. Cordeiro and Wood believe that within 10 years, illnesses such as cancer will be curable. Also, that major international corporations such as Google will be ‘entering the field of medicine’. They are ‘beginning to realize that curing aging is possible’. Microsoft has reportedly announced the setting up of a cryopreservation centre in which a scientist is researching the possibility of cancer being completely curable within a decade. The engineers explain that, although ‘people generally do not know about it’, cancer cells are immortal. This was discovered in 1951. Henrietta Lacks died from cervical cancer, surgeons removed the tumour and kept it. That tumour is still ‘alive’ today. Immortality will not necessarily mean the planet becomes overcrowded, the scientists say: there is still plenty of room for more people on Earth, and these days, people do not have anywhere near as many children as they did in past decades and centuries; plus, ‘it will be possible to live in space by then’. ‘Japan and the Koreas, if they continue with their current trend of hardly having any children, will become extinct – within two centuries, there’ll be no Japanese or Korean people on the planet,’ Cordeiro says. ‘But thanks to these new techniques, there will indeed be Japanese and Korean people, because they’ll live forever and remain young.’ The cost of anti-ageing treatment was compared to that of the latest SmartPhones. ‘At first, it’ll be expensive. But with a competitive market the price will gradually fall because it’ll be something that benefits everyone,’ Cordeiro says. ‘Technology, when it’s new, is poor and extremely expensive, but it eventually becomes democratic and mainstream and becomes cheaper.’ The engineers say they have already been employing their techniques for two years – illegally. This stealth operation is ongoing in Colombia where there are fewer regulations covering genetic manipulation. Elisabeth Parrish, their first human patient, ‘started to see symptoms of aging and asked what could be done to prevent it’. Her treatment is ‘very risky and even illegal’, Wood explains, but at the moment is going well. It has not had any adverse side-effects. In addition to that, the level of telomeres in her blood is ’20 years younger than before’. ‘I want Spain to have a place in the world of these technologies and show that we’re not mad. It’s just that people still don’t know about them,’ Wood concluded. The Death of Death will eventually be published in four languages. They will be Spanish, English, Portuguese and Korean. The proceeds from its sales will be ploughed back into the authors’ research. https://1stnews.com/death-will-be-optional-by-2045-and-aging-reversible-genetic-engineers-say/

Someone should help to vet those names mentioned in the article and point out any Fulanis there. If there are, they should be removed at once else the 'Mega political party" would simply be considered dead before arrival. Please Nigerians should note: if any political parties or any institutions for that matter is to be formed henceforth in this mirage we call Nigeria, make sure it is devoid of any Fulani as members, else such parties risk forfeiting their ideals and relevance sooner than they hope. Let such parties be inclusive of all the ethnicities that originally formed the entity called Nigeria, but excluding the Fulani ethnic group for they are strangers on our lands and it is they that always aim to usurp what they did not struggle to build and after successful usurpation or takeover, they run the parties like it originally belong to their God forsaken tribe. APC is an example. The Fulani has various levels of operation. The political class holds the power and the money and use it to influence situations to their advantage and further their agenda the more. They are the class that destroys the future of the original owners of the land, like they did to the Hausas who today have become second class citizens in their own lands. The Hausas, not the fulanis are the almajiris. Next is the militant group of the Fulanis. They are the ones who carry out the war being prosecuted by their political class. Of recent they have spread their activities to the internet in the name of BMC, but the major ones still remain in the bushes across Nigeria armed by weapons from the Nigerian army and police armoury which of course is also headed by Fulanis. An Igbo or Yoruba General heading the army will not volunteer weapons for a Fulani killer to massacre his own people, but a Fulani general will definitely open the floodgates of the armoury to his Fulani people to commit crimes. The Yoruba or Igbo general only becomes helpless when he is under the command of the Fulani commander. So Nigerians should strategize. They should aim to relegate the Fulani tribe back to the 10th class citizens of not Nigeria, but of the West African subregion. Once you are able to politically emancipate the Fulani tribe, destroying their hegemony will then be a walk in the park. That is just my opinion on that. However if you ask me what my strongest belief is, it is that we should balkanize this entity called Nigeria and let everyone go their different ways to develop and build 'emselves without one parasitizing on the other. A worst possible case scenario is to agitate for regionalisation like it was done before, which of course worked then. This will encourage every region to develop at her own pace. |

He looks like Fulani, he has the fascie of Fulani He is definitely Fulani, with that kind of short fuse and aggression he displayed in killing his fellow Fulani. |
But why is this man still hovering around South and Middle belt? Is it a must for him to hang around? As a Fulani, he has his native state in the North where he can move to without being persecuted. He should go there, simple. |
