Hi folks. Panel open circuit voltage 44.3v MPPT PV max voltage 150v Has anyone safely connected three of that Voc in series with a 150v max MPPT without dire consequences? I know 44.3.v in series gives 132.9v which isn't up to the 150v max. But I'm still worried nonetheless. NB: CC is a reliable one, having the type that has been in use for a long time and others too have given positive rating.

2undexy:This is apparently owned by multichoice, the same owner of DSTV and GoTV. So do not hold your breath as there's no competition here. Showmaxx is just another bombing format that multichoice yahoo has added to their stale, rapidly getting undesirable formats - DSTV ang GoTV. |
mrkings84:Usually used to refer to grown up post menopausal madames that have money to live life well. Madam Interestingly Living Full. Thank me later. ![]() Disclaimer: Please I beg you, don't go calling every random good looking wealthy madam milf o just because that is the meaning. Please seek their consent to know their disposition to being called that. |
Nigerianleleyi0:Kannywood, is what they tag themselves. |
sirqeeboi:Are you sure those ones have not exceeded their allowable 500usd limit spending on the card? |
Gozik1:Sorry. I don't think that will cut it and I believe I am echoing the opinion of the majority. If this were to be on a WhatsApp group, chances that you'd have bumped into it and benefit as you do now let alone suggest the idea will be extremely slim if not remote. Besides I can't count how many wahtsapp groups I'm already on that I can't even go thru all messages. Some run into 10k unread messages. Before you know it now, some new entrants will be spamming the group with "make money fast" messages and other irritating irrelevancies. Abeg, e don do. Ndo. Why you go even think that idea sef? Cos that should be the last thing on the mind of anyone that has been here for a while. Haba mana. Why d'you wanna fix what isn't broken? |
acunon:Do you mean to say that the power pack/adapter is external If that is the case, what is the DC out voltage (DC voltage into TV) written on the power pack? Edit: It is indeed very low power consumption - sweeet, that means that it can still be reduced to as low as 15 watts when power saving mode is activated. But I am not so sure with that your power adapter claim. In that picture, specs states that 9v, 12v or 16v input is absent. But you have it with you sha. So you can always confirm for readers.

thormeydey:I have never gotten to chat with AliExpress CC. Seems they are never available. It's only that automated girlish-name robot that comes online. |
So I lost a dispute today. I filed dispute 72hrs after purchase protection expiry. Tracking showed that item has been in transit for 126 days, and has an "expired" status on 24track and 17track apps. No information that suggests it has gotten to destination and local PO has not informed of any arrival. Items ordered earlier than this item on Cainao have arrived. I've appealed though, and I demand they show me a screenshot of their own tracking information that showed "waiting for pick-up" status.

Osahoo:How To Retrieve Your Money After You Have Been Scammed I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed". Please read careful and learn. 20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful. Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you: 1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB). 2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person. 3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text). 4. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER". 5. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD. 6. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it. While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK *(anticorruptionunit@cenbank.o rg).* this will ginger the bank to take it up fast. What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money. |
mctfopt:Yes. User parameters is FULLY ADJUSTABLE. I actually have 2 of this product in service for 8 months now charging lithium packs. |
tonididdy:I have forged a relationship with the postmaster in my local PO. I was able to do this by asking her to keep the change on the charges of the parcel on a number of occassion. I also call her number to make inquiries on parcels I'm expecting. In fact, she is the one that always calls me when I eventually have packages. She has once muted the idea that she can always bring it to my doorstep for extra token, but until I have a PMB which I will officially request from the local PO, I don't plan on NIPOST home delivery yet. She said I can own a P. O. Box for less than 10k a year. The parcels will be kept in the box at the PO for me to access. She added that a home delivery box will cost a little more. tonididdy:I agree with you. Using AESS option puts shipping at around 45 USD but with the associated pain of 90 days waiting period and possible disappointment at the end of it all. Paying 20 USD extra for expedited delivery and logistics via DHL wasn't a bad idea. |
tonididdy:One unit was 44.89 USD, but the two units I ordered increased to 65.42 USD for shipping via DHL.
|
So I took delivery of the package shipped via DHL. It seems everything took one week tops. And another good thing is that there was no customs charges. I just got there and picked up my stuff.
|
BoldassBadasser:The reason why your dispute was arbitrated as invalid is because you opened it when your purchase protection is still on (you opened it like 2 days before expiry), so your reason will not be entertained. You have to open the dispute again after BP ends and not later than 15 days. |
earthrealm:I don't know of any 200L freezer that consumes 50w or 60w. Maybe 70 litres or 58 litres freezer sha. I don't even think DC freezer is that low, else they won't recommend 2 units of 250 watts panel and 2 units of 150 ah battery for adequate backup. The least by 200L will be 100 watts. Meanwhile, the vendor I expected the inverter freezer from disappointed on delivery after two weeks of deposit, so I demanded my refund and got it from another who had in stock, albeit at a higher price - 5k550 more. Nameplate rating is 115 watts. Just begun the monitoring about 3 hours ago. Not yet impressed cos the wattmeter recorded 165 watts for over 2 hours now from an initial 107 watts 5 minutes after start-up. When it starts, it begins at around 170 watts and befinns to drop over the next one minute or so to around and fluctuates between 107 watts~120 watts. Put in some water. After about one hour it's at 158 watts. Now approaching 3 hrs it read 165 watts. Hmmmm. So like I said, I'm not impressed yet. I hope it does not disappoint o, otherwise na to begin look for buyer. |
mctfopt:Hmmm. I see he mentioned that briefly, meaning it's likely a possibility. I will try to post that question in his YT channel. Hope he replies quick sha.

ojeysky:Cool. |
ojeysky:A "different port" BMS should be easier to work with in such scenario but I also believe "same port" BMS will work. The urge is too much and knowing myself, I will still try it out one of these days but with a dirt cheap but functional BMS of course. The 24/320 BMS is LFP, I guess. Have you swapped out the BMS installed in your pack for a higher rating one? Still acquiring some cells, so funds aren't available for high strung BMS just yet. |
ojeysky:Not the way you mean it. For instance, a 24v 200ah LFP with at least a C rating of 1 will still allow 200A charge-discharge BMS. But you only have 60/80 amps charge/discharge BMS installed. If one isn't able to get a 200A BMS, can one get similar BMS and connect in parallel with the existing 60/80 Amps BMS to get a 120/160 amps charge/discharge rating on the battery pack? Of course most times the emphasis will be on the "charge" amps because I don't expect to approach 120 amps discharge @ 24v on regular home appliances but I would love to have my battery bank full within 2 hours of the sun emerging. And I believe this can be achieved. These LFPs are now the types co-opted to electric cars in recent times shifting from Li-ion 18/65/0s use. And these cars when recharging can reach 50% capacity within 15 minutes (fast charge phase) and then full 100% charge in 45 minutes. |
Oshomo12:I spoke with a woman who is to be allocated prepaid. Among several other financial requirements and inducements, she was told she'd need to get concrete pole, buy another wire to replace the ones hitherto used to get power into her home, then she would have to add more to her earlier payment as they realized she will be needing 3 phase meter as opposed to the one phase she paid for. All the monies is already around 200k. I just laughed. Me that I already requested for 3 prepaid, so na like 600k I go dey look for again on top. Wàláhì, these people never see maga/customer . They are not serious. |
ojeysky:I wonder. Is it possible to parallel two or more BMSes with similar ratings on a battery pack in order to squeeze more juice into and out of the pack, keeping in mind the C rating of course. Has anyone thought about this? |
This is in 2016. That's a while ago but it seems this hasn't gained traction. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/video/2016/oct/29/elon-musk-unveils-new-tesla-solar-roof-tiles-video http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-37809151

mank1234:This makes sense o. And it's a scary scenario. I guess if he has surge protectors (those 2k5 protectors) at every appliance point, the risk of fire in such circumstance will be highly mitigated. Those cheap things have saved me before on a number of occassions with generator surges. With voltage spikes, in place of the appliance, they break down but won't cause fire. You only buy a replacement. @Ojeysky, that supply wey PHCN dey dash you for Ado na rubbish o. May we never see the vex of fire. Even for BEDC to give prepaid to people there na wàhálà. Na to dey lie say na that BEDC woman instruct them not to distribute meters. |
ojeysky:86 volts ke?! Hehehehehe I guess they just want you to charge torchlight with their supply and nothing more. Last time I've seen something like this is like 5 years ago and it wasn't even as bad as 86v. More like 120v. This is more reason I've not had to repair electronic appliances in a long time. Power supplies from RE sources are usually clean. Even a generator can go berserk and produce surges, but surges and outages are rare with inverters. |
SpeedRacer:With DHL, delivery took like 5 days to get to Nigeria. I was called by DHL to expect delivery of my parcel. M SpeedRacer: ![]() Bro, just don't try DHL for small items, it's not worth it and na bad market. Unless you want that item sooooo bad, you're sure of the unmatched quality, you can't get it elsewhere and it's absolutely necessary. My own item was around 64k and a DHL charge of 11k is what I was ready to pay. It'll have been only that 64k on AESS and Signpost but those two would give one some depression. Try out shops with Cainaio or Yanwen as shipping options to get the screen. |
ceaser: RaptorX:Yes. Thanks. I checked it out and discovered I was wrong. Funny I haven't heard of this animal before now despite the knowledge. Truly no one knows everything and none is an island of knowledge. We all learn everyday even from the unlikeliest of sources. And I think they are referred to as sea cow not because they have features like the cow's; because aside the fact that they are mammals which whales and walruses also are, they have no other distinctive cow-like physical feature. It's more likely they are "sea cows" because they are principally herbivores like the land cow that we all know.
|
Looks more like a Walrus. In the picture, the body being the widest slowly tapers towards the head. You'd see the left and right flippers in the second picture. And the teeth too in that third picture. It's not a dolphin like someone here pointed out, and it's definitely not a shark. But is a walrus known as sea cow? Because a walrus doesn't seem to have features that looks like a cows. I know of sea horse (that actually have features of a horse) RaptorX:Yes. Thanks. I checked it out and discovered I was wrong.
