I am married with one kid and another one on the way. I do two weeks in and two weeks out job and I earn 200k per month. We live in our own house and my wife runs a boutique business in a store owned by us so she doesn't pay rent for the business.

We have constant electricity free of charge so we cook with an electric cooker.

The problem here is I give her 50k monthly to take care of the house while I settle every other stuff including stocking the house with bag of rice, groundnut oil, palm oil, medical bills, cable subscription, school fee, clothing, etc and I also bring provisions and toiletries when I am coming back from work yet I get complains of the feeding allowance is not enough month in month out and I am getting fed up.

She knows I am doing a building project yet I keep getting complains.

Pls, advise me, is the feeding money not enough?

Trust me, I had a lot as a bachelor.

We all know my type is rare;

I will make this as short as possible.
Before marrying my wife she seems to be this very generous and accommodating fellow . I felt fall in Love with her because this is just the kind of partner I want,

I have not really stand very well financially, though comfortable and contented, but I have this great dream of, because of what I pass through to help as much people as I can.
While dating her, she told me all kinds of stories of her philanthropic and generous gestures to people.

But moving forward to today, she seems to be direct opposite of everything.
She detests people coming close or we offering any kind of help or assistance to family both hers and mine not to talk of friends.

What about suggesting to assist a relative that can't afford, with their child education na war
We have not born but I have more than enough space to bring one or two children to see them through school but my wife is not buying is at all at all.

I know who I am before I marry, this is the only thing that gives me joy, and my only reason for asking God everyday to bless me so that I can bless people.

But right now am seriously confused
it hurts me alot but I don't wanna force anything against her will.

I have tried discussing it over and over with her but she is still not buying it, with the excuse of that we have not stand enough to carry anybody .

Hi every one, l have been a nairalander for over 10 years and have seen people get advised here, thats why l am putting this up with my account.
I am not blaming anybody for my predicament, neither do l blame the loan app company for their shark like business sytle, l take responsibility for my actions. I am one of those people who criticized people for Falling into the trap of online loan company. It's basically a rat race syndrome and tends to take you deeper and deeper from the seemingly innocuous first attempt.

It all started when my side hussle of buying and selling food stuff suffered a decreased in cost of replacement due to inflation and my sales boy stealing my money. I took my first loan to boost my business and realized that the cost of the loan is high. Since then, it's been a malicious cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I realized that l was lossing money in each transcation and in order to meet up with my payment to avoid defaulting, l resorted to other loan company. Now, l don't even no what to do, all cash injection coming to me is spent on servicing the loan. I can't even feed my family and pay my children school fees. I am tire of this scenario and want to break free. It has taken a toil on me physically, mentally and spiritually.

I seek advice from people who have gone thru this ugly experience on how to break free before it is too late. Below is the list of my indebtness:

Ask her the date of her last menstrual period. Do the calculations from there. If you don't know how to do it, Google "expected date of delivery" and it will calculate it for you.

Dear people here, Pls don't mind my long story and some bad expressions, I couldn't sleep and had to put this up here. I hardly do it. I need your advise. my elder sister, the first born in our family died in year 2010. Before her death, she had four children, two males and two females. Her husband who is the father of her 4 children had consistently proved irresponsible before her death, this man had another wive even when my sister was on sick bed, we later discovered that one other woman has a child for him apart from this second wife while my sister was still alive.
The man asked my sisters children whose eldest was just 12 when their mother died to go and learn a trade since he cant afford to put them in school. One of my other elder sisters had to take the two youngest of the kids and trained them through primary school while the two eldest lived with their grandmother who is my mother. By the time the eldest finished JSS3, i had graduated from the university. he is a very brilliant boy so i had to take care of his senior secondary school in a public school which happened to be what i could afford then. The boy lived with me for 8 good years and by the grace of God, I saw him through university. When he was in 300 level, his younger sister entered Adeyemi College of Education for a degree in education, that made my load heavier. My sisters were helping them with foodstuff and little pocket money while I paid school fees, accommodation and other fees for the two of them. The elder graduated in engineering a year before his sister. After his NYSC he called me one day to tell me one of the paramilitary organisations in Nigeria under the ministry of interior was recruiting and that someone wanted to sell a slot, I had to borrow 250k to join with what he had to buy the slot for him from one northerner. A year later, I used my closeness to a particular Ekiti politician to secure teaching job for his younger sister in a federal government school. At this point, their younger sister was in the polytechnic and to my dismay, these two guys will always refer this young girl to me each time she asked them for money. at first, I thought its because they were yet to settle down fully so I had to continue to really stretch myself more to take care of the education of this young girl. If not for the little side business I run, each of these two guys earns more money than myself being FG workers. I works with state ministry. The girl completed her national diploma last year, she is on IT now. Now the last born is in the university and these guys still sends him to me for his school fees. They told him point blank to go to uncle. The boy is in part two, I actually paid for acceptance, school fees and all those stuffs last year. I was thinking they have assisted him with this session only for him to come home because of ASUU strike and inform me that he is yet to register for the new session which started since late January. His brother and sister told him to go to uncle as usual. Their father who never contributed anything to their education is also telling everyone who cared to listen to him that I am the one who told these two not to help him financially. So these two are not helping their father, they are not helping their siblings, they are not helping anybody. What manner of people are these? I feel like stopping any form of assistance to these young girl and boy but my sisters and my mum are insisting I shouldn't. You know all those, "you are doing it for God" kind of stuff. These guys are mean men, they hardly pick my calls and I have stopped discussing their siblings issues with them since last year. How do I handle these guys pls? I am tired and my own responsibilities are mounting up daily.
