Point of correction! You would notice that I had changed the subject to Yahweh. What do you mean the Christian God. He is not the Christian God! He is the God of the Universe. If you say the Father of the Christians I will agree. To those who would even not submit to Yahweh, He still remains God over all flesh ~ He says in Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

So, as you can see, He is the God of all flesh,

Check throughout the Bible History records. Did you ever see a place where small gods defeated the God of gods? Have you ever seen where an infinitesimal king overthrew the King of kings? It is just impossible. Can the created do anything to the Creator? I dont think so. Allah, a creature can not and will never be able to stand before its Creator.

QED.

@Cgift: From the mouth of babes and the mouth of Timothy as quoted above: The verse gave a 50/50 probability of maybe or maybe not!

By cgift, you did not use the words of Jesus himself, in Mark 12 Vese 29 (Bless you and God guidiance of your heart, +Osisi), the Gospel, rather you are quoting Timothy a simple epistle/letter, to encourage a group. You can write anything, including your own opinions, like what Paul did!

Iyen iwo, where did you ever respect Allah, the Prophet and the Qur'an a book that is firmly writing down, yet you want me to respect an ever changing and never stable Bible? I do respectyour book by writing the B in capital. But I disagree with any lies that is against Jesus! And that is what we are point out to you guys.

Olabowale,

You really amaze me. Your case is like that of a man and his child. The man knows the keys to his safe box in his house to get a document. His son wakes up one morning and says he is going to find take that document by force without knowing the code. Is that not an exercise in futility? We Christains on this forum look at you and read your comments and just smile/laugh knowing fully well that you cant understand except you have been chosen by Yahweh to understand and He opens up your spiritual eyes. That is my prayer for you anyway. Allah is not the Almighty Yahweh. Allah was in existence before Mohammad.

On the other hand, if you want me to refer you to where Jesus himself said that His words are enigmatic, see them below in his very own words and not Paul's.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. ~ that His disciples wont be able to understand them even if He tells them. You too, if perhaps God in His lovingkindness chooses to reveal Himself to you through Christ, then He will bring your mind up to speed in Understanding these things.

Mr 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; ~ I want to believe this is very clear. Jesus knew that most would hear and not understand. It is a mystery. Jesus himself affirmed it. so please, just leave it the way it is and only pray to "Allah" perhaps if he can hear that he opens your mind to understand these things we are saying. Or better still to the God the Christains pray unto. I am sure He will hear you. Yes. Just pray this prayer : Oh you God of the Jesus Christ wom the christians call unto, if you are really there and what these christains say you are, reveal yourself to me in a way I wont be able to refute.

Point of note, Paul only expounded based on the grace Jesus Christ gave him. He did not come to destroy the law or teachings of Christ. He only expounded on the teachings of Christ.

Many blessings.

Hey! You guys are too militant! Please calm down grin You have all gone 'astray' from the topic. Olabowale, dont you think that it is wrong to describe something too esoteric for you with derogatory words? I mean, the bible itself calls the relationship and workings of the Godhead a mystery in 2 Timothy where it says Great is the mystery of godliness, , . Hence, you are not expected to ordinarily understand it. The quran on the other hand has no esoteric stuffs - i mean, you can read it and understand what it is saying because it is purely written in literary manner without parables or tough to crack sayings and relationships because that is how "Allah" wanted it. abi?

So, if you understand that, respect what the bible says it is: mystery and therefore difficult to understand (at least to you) and not try using your mind to decipher it when those who are even the children of the Father are still getting new revelations of scriptures of the Bible.

All the best.

Religion / Re: Is Doctrine Important In Your Faith? by cgift(m): 8:31am On Jan 25, 2008
1. Ro 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
2 1Ti 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
3 1Ti 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
4 1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
5 2Ti 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
6 Tit 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
7 Tit 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Tit 2:10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

I want to believe the above are well enough to guarantee the place of doctrines or beliefs. They are very essential. Man cannot live without laws or guides. He would screw up big time. The doctrines draw the limits and they are authoritative. Once a man finds fault in a doctrine especially having gotten some sorts ofrevelations, he is free to correct it (where it is within his power) or simply bail out!

The first verse says avoid them, that could mean run away from them, dont fellowship with them amongst other things but fundamentally leave them! But unfortunately, most people do not take time to wait upon the Lord to fully understand the revelation and just out of an unholy zeal run to form another group claiming they have been called.

is it a folly to denounce a tribal god of hebrew that ALLOWED SLAVERY, COMMANDED VIRGINS TO BE RAVISHED, REVELED IN ANIMAL SACRIFICE AND BURNT OFFERINGS, COMMANDED BABIES TO BE DESTROYED, even his beloved david would dash babies against rocks, what a fiendish king!

I understand your feelings and I sympathise with you. Look at this:

Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Isa 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter‘s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

You were created by Jehovah God. If he decides to destroy you, what can you do? He owns you. No body would even quiblle if a kid destroys his mudhouse after creating it. Thats the exact picture. He creates/gives - he destroys/takes away. You too create yours and take it away - no one will question you.

The reason why you find it difficult to come to terms with this is because you are yet to identify with your creator. Idirente my guy, you did not evolve, you were created Ps 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother‘s womb..

Now this is not to say there are no reasons for the scenarios you have painted above. There are of course and the summary of it all is that: He (Jehovah God) has a chosen people/generation who carry his convenants and in the course of establishing them, he would not mind to remove all impediments to makesure His convenant is manifested. Its a case of liking one of His creatures above the other - He owns them both and nobody questions His preferences.

Neither.
I want to believe your choice of "neither" in this case means your "opposition" to Creation - That mean you disagree with the claim that Someone took His time to create things literarily. Ok. If that is the case, can you then tell us what the first created (may be evoluted) entity was and how it came into being?

That's drunk talk. Many theistic evolutionists, particularly the Christian ones, do believe that evolution was chosen as the method of creation by some deity or the other.

Ok. The reason why this proposition is unfounded is that you are neither here or there. You talk of some deity? Do you know him? What are his attributes? How do you relate with him? How are you even sure he created or "chose evolution" as the process? You then go ahead to advocate evolution: My question is this: has evolution stopped? What are humans going to evolve to in i don't know how long a time? Do you have answers to these? What trends have been seen or what proofs have you that evolution continues or has the "deity" in question stopped evolution from continuing?

Um, I don't think you understand evolution very much. Cells within a population do evolve. That much is verifiable. If, however, what you did intend to ask was simply "why scientists haven't be able to create cells?" then abiogenesis is down the hall. While the eventual findings on abiogenesis may influence naturalism, it doesn't aversly affect the theory of evolution as it currently stands.

You only being presumptious here. For decades and centuries, they have not being able to explain how the first cells came about? Even the simplest of cells like the Mycoplasma Genitalium among others, have not been able to be unravelled. Now tell me, if evolution or phylogenesis advocates sequences that culminated in the basic fundamentals of all living beings i.e., the cells, why is it that they have not been able to create a cell even with abiogenesis? By my understanding, abiogenesis means A hypothetical organic phenomenon by which living organisms are created from nonliving matter - i hope you saw that in red? Hypothesis! That is what it remains - and I think that means soomething that is based primarily on surmise rather than adequate evidence.

My friend, you need to do some more work in convincing me that evolution is real.

Our ancestors knew about which God? Obviously not Yahweh because they were serving gods made by the hands of men. God is not in those objects - the bible gives a complete description of idols in Psalms 115:

4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

They really did npt grasp or could comprehend the revelation of Yah through Yahshua.

pilgrim.1:

While we are on it, let me ask as well:

Have Black People Been "Fair" to Themselves? undecided

I wonder o!

The black man has all the potentials in the world to get to any heights. Civilisation, I believe was first tasted by the black man. But he messed it up himself. Talk of Babel, Egypt and a few other civilisationsa, the blacks were in control. These are biblical facts. Check them out.

The black man's venture into paganism spoilt too many things than you could ever imagine. That to me is what killed the black man and is the bedrock of everything happening to him today ranging from economy to politics, and his place in the comity of nations. Some people clamour that we should worship our ancestors. I laugh, you dig your graves further down below 6 feet should you do that. God is a jealous God. He hates idolatary. He taught his children that right from the world go and punishes any nation, tribe or toungue that dares to give His glory to another, especially the works of men's hands. Do you need bible verses for this? This is the foundation of the black man's problems. No need to go too far. How was Nigeria pre-Festac 77 ? Did you notice the decline of ordeliness, love and greatness post-77 when we opened our doors to all sorts of idols. That's an abberation though.

African's bear all sorts of names ranging from Ogun, Oya , Snago, Ifa, etc. These are all works of men's hands. God loathes them and those who worship them. He alone is Jehovah Elohim. Give him His due honour and take your place among nations.

The black man's hope is Jesus. Only with Jesus will he be able to forgive and foreget his awful past and launch a new and unstoppable life that will glorify God and bless his generations. God is no respecter of persons. He is however a jealous God. Any nation that dares go adopt idol worshipping would be flogged severely. That is why I pity any nation not presently worshipping Jehovah God but another god.

Secondly, though needing some exposition, the origin of the black man goes back to Ham, whose generations received curses as a result of the profane acts of Ham himself. It was not God. If any body is to blame, it is man. God is just because He is God.
Religion / Re: Black Race And White Race Secret by cgift(m): 7:55pm On Jan 15, 2008
Mind you, after the fall of man in the garden of Eden, God had already envisioned the plan of salvation for mankind. He told us what He would do concerning the fall; how he intended bringing man back to Himself. In the Bible Book of Genesis 3:15 God gave us expressly this plan by sending a seed of the woman in the person of Jesus to die for the sins of man. The prophecies of Jesus's coming are replete in the Old testament. The only solution that is present for everyone, whether Jews or gentiles (the whites (Japhets children) and the blacks (Ham's generations) are all classified as gentiles but are brought into his saving grace by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Now, permit me to veer into what is happening in the world today. Talk about the middle east in relation to the dealings of America, Britain and the rest of Europe with them. How do the forces of Genesis 9, the pronouncements of their father, Noah playout today? Racism is very serious. I believe it is worse than religion. The latter only adds fire to the former. It is only in Christ that Racism can be solved. Absolutely! Nothing else can give the succour people are looking for. Not even the declaration of equal rights. You smell it, breathe it and see it everyday.

I guess you are beginning to figure something out. There is a higher and a spiritual dimension to what is happening today. God's words in the bible gives you answers to all because it is perfect as it relates to past, present the the future. I hope to continue in this line tomorrow - I mean world affairs and in my own little way give a few insights into the future as based in the bible.

Cheers.

As I was saying,

But whenever I read the account of Abraham's call (Horus I hope you are with me), I only begin to marvel. Why would God call Abraham ou of all the peoples on earth then and the rife idolatary going on then? You can question him. As per the choice of Abraham, only God would know why. I personally think God saw some inviting attributes in the man - due to rife paganism, God needed a man that would be strong in faith to shift from his old mindset to a new one and a new relationship with God. It could have being Horus or mazaje or even Olabowale as at that time (kidding though). Another important consideration however is that Abraham was Semitic. What do I mean?

After the great flood God used in destroying the earth, God renewed His convenant with Noah and his family (See Genesis 9 : 8 - 9). In verse 20, the bible says , and Noah became an husbandman (someone who planted a vineyard or a winedresser or something). He drank and became drunk anduncovered himself. Ham failed to come up to expectation and came under his father's curses.

25: And he said, Cursed be canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brethren
26: And he said, Blessed be the Lord of Shem; and Canaan shall be his (Shem's) servant.
27: God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall (also) be his servant.

The line of Ham therefore became exempted from being selected for this noble journey with the Lord as a result of the curse on his forth-coming generation. Let me tell you a secret about Japheth. Japhet (Caucasians) had a spirit of enlargement upon him - what does he try to do? He attempts to conquer and dominate. In the event of lack of space for further enlargment, he begins to crumble (More on this later as it relates to the future of Europe's present world powers). That appetite / zest for enlargement became a danger for Japhet. He could not be the choice for God's foundational work of redemption.

We are left with Shem's line. Hope you can trace the genealogy of Jesus to Abraham and you would further appreciate this.

Now, God called Abram (his named had not changed then), and promised him the land of canaan. I hope you are beginning to see how the back of Ham started breaking gradually? The curse Noah pronounced on him was already in motion. Canaan was inhabited by people who were strong, great grand forefathers of the blacks - the testimonies in Numbers when they went to spy the land of Canaan attests to this.

Apart from the fact that he was under the curse of man (his father), Canaan had taken residence where God never wanted him to be. Ham's generation were to go south. Shem was to remain in the middle east and Japheth was to go north. Nimrod, the son of Cush who is the first son of Ham also toed this line of violation of borders when he chose to remain in the middle east by all means. Nimrod (the main father of paganism) built babel and by such positioned himself for destruction. God was true to His words of prophecy concerning the destruction of this once great city He destroyed it. The ruins of Babylon is found in Baghdad today. I laugh at anyone who would dare God.

More coming soon.

I never said that they completely lack melanin.I just said lack.In fact I should have used the words deficiency in melanin or less melanin instead of lack of melanin.
Caucasian DO have melanin but not enought,so they are melanin deficient.
You are trying to make us believe that JUST saying that somebody do not have enought pigmentation or melanin is a racist saying. This is RIDICULOUS.
So the dictionary is racist?

Well, thank you for reversing your statement that they lack melanin. We are on a level playing ground now. However, you have failed to address my issue on the difference between albinism and leprosy. I also challenge you to go ahead bring forth the relevant scriptures that pronouces leprosy as a curse rather than a disease. By inference from your statement above, you are probably saying that the "melanin deficiency" is the curse that was pronounced on the caucasoids. Please give us your sources if that is what you infer.

, And I am not saying you are a racist, all I am saying is you have the tendencies grin So be careful.

Olabowale:
@Davidylan: I wish you can read what my main man Cgist puts down on Black people: The slaves of white people.

Olabowale, I have since given up on you. Apart from the fact that I have been away from the forum for some time, I still look at your comments but keep my silence because of pertinent reasons. I do not want to reduce this thread to the Christ versus Mohammad thing. but do not ever compare the bible and the quran as regards history and the prophesies of the future. They are not on the same pedestal. If you have grievances concerning that, kindly open a thread titled, Accuracy of History and Prophecies in the Bible and the Quran and i will be gald to bounce on you like a jaguar on its prey. grin

My references are from the bible.

Back to the main topic. Earlier on, I was trying to define the three broad races that emanated in post-flood aeon.

When God called Abraham, he told him to leave the land of Ur of the Chaldeans to a land in which He (God) shall show him (Abraham). Why was this? The land of Ur was a land occupied by idol worshippers and God wanted to clean Abraham and start with him a completely new generation of people who would serve him and be called by his name. In the account given in the bible in Genesis 11:31, Abraham had been in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans one of the lands / cities of the babylonians. They were primarily idol worshippers since God had not revealed His name to any one after Noah and his family. Abraham himself was one of them until he was called.

Hence, the need to make Abraham separate into a new land so that God could prepare him for the task ahead of building an entirely new generation of people that would know God and keep his commandments. That was like a pilot stage which God had planned out - to start with the Semitic people. You would recall that Abraham was from the line of Shem (the present day middle-easterners including Arabs and Isrealites).

God, post-flood wanted specific geographical locations for the descendants of the three sons of Noah. He wanted the middle east for the Semitic people (which is were they largely are today) whilst He planned the South (tropics) for the children of Ham. This is where they largely are today. Read the account of Genesis Chapter 10 and you would appreciate this more. The world was structured in such a way that Europe would be inhabited by Japheth's descendants. In verse 32 of the chapter, , these are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations, and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood,

You probably doubt my classifications. Let me talk about Ham a little bit. Ham is the father of the blacks. Someone asked earlier if Noah had given birth ti the children of three different races. My response to that would not be a capital yes but something near it. As people mix, pigmentation broadens, hence skin colour broadens. The man of colour has been traced directly to Ham. In the Bible in Psalm 105:23; Isreal came into Egypt; and Jacob into the land of Ham. Remember that Isreal and Jacob are the same person. Also in Pslam 105:27; They shewed his signs among them (egyptians), and wonders in the land of Ham.. The same thing is repeated in Psalm 106:22; Wondorous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red Sea.

Ham, in itself means Warm, Hot hence the south. The son of Ham that was wiped out by the Jews were the canaanites. God had promised Abraham that he was going to give him the land of canaan. Why? God respects territorial boundaries for the sake of peace and orderliness. These great-grandsons of Ham, i.e., Canaanites, had to be wiped out because apart from perverted idol worshipping, they were on another man's lands - the lands of the Semitic.

Ham's generation laid the foundation of idolatory in the world today. I can go on to tell you the origins of Allah from sumer and babylon and how Allah did his Hajj or pilgrimage from babylon to Mecca. This is for another thread anyways. Great civilisation started with the black man of course especially through Nimrod, the grandson of Ham. But the curse fo their father Noah had to catch up with him.

Forget about prejudice here. The black man was actually the first to start slavery when Isreal was in their land and we all know the oibstinence of pharoah in letting them go until Jehovah God showed his strength on their behalf.
