No! With all certainty, allah is not the God of the Christians. Our God is not the one of confusion. If your Mohammedan god says kill infidels and our Christian God says love them, how are they the same? In actual fact, allah was the chief god of the arabians before Mohammad was even born. Muslim scholars have never denied this fact that allah existed before Mohammad, your prophet was born! He only redefined one of the over 360 gods that were in the kaaba! .

The above only suggests that you are probably not 'well-educated' because you simply cant understand simple words as they are. Jesus says He is the only way, the truth and life, nobody comes to the Father, except [/b]by Him. On the Sola Scriptua thing that catches your fancy, perhaps, this qustion might be of help:

If the bible says the way to go is to turn towards the right, (for hypothetical purposes), and we now have another 'source' or traditions that says the way to go is the right, we can say okay, the traditions do not contradict the bible. So we all rest.

But if on the other hand, the alternate sources say turn left, when the bible says turn right, what should we do? Should we have a contradiction if both 'sources' are of God? Should it not rather be a corroboration?

Your traditions have always negated the teachings of the bible, hence, either the bible is not of God or your traditions is demonic. I live that for you to decide.

It is a shame that you cannot simply tell your self the truth. Which came first? Bible or Quran? Is it not the Bible? We should at least have a perfect correlation between the two especially as it relats to the Torah (the Old Testament). If the bible says that Satan is a fallen angel and that paradise was here on earth (not that it was somewhere else where Adam and Eve were before thy were kicked out and sent to the earth), why do you have differing accounts in your quran?

Was Mohammad not supposed to have given the exact narration of names and location and events with flawless accuracy? Why did he paint different pictures of particularly striking events. It only shows his inability to understand and paraphrase issues without getting thm mixed up!

If in particular he claimed he was to bring about continuity, why do we have differing opinions? Or is it part of the 'corruption' of the bible that has made these same stories we have in your quran to be differnet from the bible's?

That is uncessary. I wont proof a thing though I have a number. Be bold enough to investigate yourself. Be true to yourself and do some soul-searching. Go back in history and be able to comfirm to yourself that it was Mohammad that introduced Allah and not that he 'redefined' allah. It should not be a hard thing for you to do some reaserach into archealogy, writings, cultures etc, should it?

All I will advice you the poster is that you should pray sincerely to God in your heart that you want to know Him. He will reveal himself to you. You try to take academic reasoning into the scriptures. Christianity is not Islam. The way you read and understand the quran is not the same way the bible flows.
