As usual Nigerians would go their as per routine then after service they would go back to embrace their individual sins. Going to church for show
You hit the nail on the head.
I had this same discussion with a friend. I told him the moment most religious Nigerians leave their place of worship, they return to their normal behavior of cursing, disobedience of the law, lying, cutting corners, cheating, hatred, etc

When a man shows interest in a lady it is okay but when the reverse is the case she's an olosho huh huh

It's pathetic and embarrassing how Nigerian men reason most times. Men are only allowed to do the hunting and relationship territorial defense right??
I do agree with your assertion. I strongly believe interest, hunting and communication should be both ways and not only the man.
However, the way she's going about it is wrong and scary.
I won't call her an Olosho until proven otherwise. Maybe she genuinely likes Ned regardless of his wealth or maybe she's a gold digger and targeting his wealth.

NYSCRe: Lies About Sex During NYSC Camp & After Camp by chijokz(m): 6:05pm On Dec 04, 2020
WORDWORLD:
While I served, I lived in a very comfortable 2 bedroom flat, which was very secluded. Privacy was very guaranteed.

My flat mate happened to be the kind of guy women label as a 'DOG'. That was the Zenith of fvckery I have ever experienced in my life. This guy was fvcking all the corper girls right left and center. It was at this point in my life I started having utmost fear for women because, I being his flatmate I was so astonished by the kind of 'DECENT GIRLS' that come by themselves just to have sex, no strings attached. These girls were mostly corp members I knew so well. They felt very safe because of the privacy where I lived provided.
I can relate to this 100%. Same scanario played out in Jos where I served.
I stayed in a 4 flat building with all 4 flats occupied by male corpers.
Come and see the level of female traffic @ night coming in and out of the building - from female corpers to UniJos babes.
RomanceRe: Sugar Mummy Story In Abuja: Man Shares His Experience (Pics) by chijokz(m): 7:15pm On Dec 03, 2020
MrTAnonymous:
A man identified as Brian Dennis has Shared what he passed through in a quest to get a sugar mummy in Abuja.

Read his words.

"One of the most popular misconceptions about Abuja is that there are plenty sugar mummies looking for young boys to spoil with their money in exchange for pleasure. Na big lie. Thread! !

I heard this lie so much that I started seeing every older woman who drives a big car as a potential sugar mummy material when I came to this town. I always in my best behavior around them, waiting to be noticed and approached. Nothing happened.

I was even helping some of them push their shopping trolleys in supermarkets when I noticed they needed help. Nothing come out. Nobody even asked me for phone number. I started thinking, Is it Jazz the other boys that have sugar mummies are using? Na wa.

Until one unfortunate Friday evening that I was having a drink by myself in a spot close to my house and I saw one light skinned thick woman in her late 40s pull up with a new RAV4.

She was also by herself and sat behind me. I thought it was a dream when the waiter brought a bottle for me and said that the woman at the table behind me sent the bottle for me. I turned behind and saw her staring lustfully at me. She smiled and I accepted the invitation. Cheap man like me. I sat with her and we started with short introductions of ourselves and started talking about random things.

She was divorced, never had a child and lived alone. My ear stand. By midnight, She offered to drop me off as I didn't drive but I told her I lived very close and could walk home so she suggested that she shows me her place so I can come visit anytime.

I didn't even think about it before entering the car like a lamb to the slaughter. We got to her apartment a few minutes later and she asked me to come inside. She was living well but I was not concerned about the aesthetics of her interior decoration. So many things were running through my mind.

Why did she ask me to come in? Maybe tonight na audition. She made me have a bath and I knew that my dreams of a sugar mummy had come to pass, I just had to impress her if I wanted to progress to the spoiling stage.

I sweated & worked all night and I was telling myself that let Newspapers not use me for "man dies in s3x romp" headline. When she finally slept, I was still awake and thinking to myself. So it is really true, sugar mummies are real and my life was about to be transformed by one. Wow. God is good.

In the morning she tapped me nicely, and I opened my eyes and saw her staring at me with love in her eyes, I smiled back and whispered good morning to her. " Good morning, Brian. Your money na N40k "" Oh, thank you. You're too kind ", I replied. 40k for just one night? I don blow be that na.

I thought I was the one being paid until she asked me: "Should I send my account number or you have cash? "

What is your opinion on this?
I enjoyed your write up. The location of where you met should have been a red flag of her being a runs babe.
RomanceRe: The Jumoke Story: Before You Marry A Nigerian Lady, Act Broke For Months by chijokz(m): 2:29pm On Dec 02, 2020
OcVoice:
Had a similar case. Everything was going well till I lost my job. She couldn't adjust cos she was used to enjoyment. We were going for our marriage course, I had done introduction sef. She just woke up one morning and decided to break ties with me. She aborted the pregnancy.

I had since moved on though.

I don't know what happened to the girls of our time. Our moms suffered well with our dads without complain. Love was REAL and TRUE then. It was beyond money.

God will help our generation!
I also had a similar experience - I lost my job back in 2012 and she couldn't adjust and broke it off.
I moved on and bounced back stronger a year after. She heard through a friend and reached out to me but I blocked her instantly.
Current generation is all about money as opposed to our parent's who worked hard and built together.

TravelRe: Why Don't We Have These Kind Of Streets In Nigeria? by chijokz(m): 1:23pm On Nov 23, 2020
PhiliptheArab:
We don't have these kind of streets in nigeria because we are not ready to pay the kind of taxes that would fund and maintain those kind of streets.

In the UK, if you are living in the city, you pay council tax which ranges from 60000 to 100000 naira monthly depending on the city. That money goes into making the cities look nice

That's why uk cities have great streets.

If we charged that kind of tax in Nigeria, Nigerians would scream.

So we pay scanty taxes and get scanty and bad roads

The bad roads we have in Nigeria are what we can afford. The sad thing is that looting still happens on top
Well said my brother.
SportsRe: Orji Uzor Kalu To Buy Arsenal - 35% Stake To Revive The Club - UK Reports by chijokz(m): 1:55pm On Nov 20, 2020
PhiliptheArab:
For those of you asking why he does not buy Enyimba instead...some hard facts...

1.When a busienssman buys anything...it is because he wants it to make him a profit...or more money. That's why the Glazer family bought Man U and the Emiratis bought Man City. Had everything to do with more money, and nothing to do with football.

2.Arsenal is far more profitable than Enyimba. Tickets at Enymba for one game cost less than 2000 naira . Tickets at the Emirates cost 12000-38000 naira.A season ticket at Arsenal...cheapest rate, single adult , costs 455000 naira.

Plus Arsenal is in the Europa league....income from broadcast rights in the millons. Plus Arsenal is in Premier league...more millions comming in. Add sponsorships....

Does Enyimba have that? Can Enyimba boast of having qualifed for Confederations cup recently...or champions league caf style?

3. OUK is a businessman and buying a share in the Arsenal means quick return on investment. Enyimba on the other hand....just to throw away money . Unless he can increase ticket prices at Aba township stadium to N13000 per match.....
Well said.

Please show us mercy I beg you. We are really hungry and starving due to situation of things. May God bless those who bless us, amen. It's well with us.

Reminds me of some Nigerian pastors who preach if you don't tithe, you won't be blessed.

Christianity EtcRe: Does God Have A Name?—What Does The Bible Say? by chijokz(m): 10:58pm On Oct 17, 2020
DappaD:
Those other ones are just titles.
God never said he has more than one name.
His personal name is YHWH or Yahweh in Hebrew, the latinized form being JHVH and inputting English vowels is Jehovah.

Then God said once more to Moses:“This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation.—Exodus 3:15, New World Translation.

greatbuc:
Pure murder. The crime scene is very unrelated to suicide. The killers did a very poor job.
Pointers:
He was probably killed before his body was lifted to the noose.. See the folded part on his trouser indicating he was lifted.
No stool or block to have giving him the height he needed to hang himself. How did he climb up to the noose?? If you say the hole in the walls then he should have been facing backwards and his foot should also be dusty and bruised.
He is scared of dying from covid by wearing a mask but took his life by hanging? Haba. Poor job by the criminals.. Let them check how much was left for him to complete the instalment money.. Some people fit kill person so the bike will be theirs even when the instalment money is almost completed.
I applaud your investigative and logical analysis.

Na mentality and mindset dey worry some Nigerians. Some people think coming to Lagos will automatically make them millonaires not knowing that the challenges faced in the City is higher than the opportunity. Many can't even go back home or relocate because there is no money. Many Lagosians live from hand to mouth and at the same time incure an indie stress everyday. Lagos is good for big business men who owe bar. If you don't make a million naira per month sorry Lagos is not for You.
I do agree with your assertion. It seems Lagosians all about 'Packaging' which is not sustainable.

lol, funny enough i was redeployed there and had to report today, there are so many empty mansions in Anambra, some lined up like an estate... Cool
There are various reasons why there are so many empty mansions in the South East.
1. Majority of Igbos build their country homes as a sign of wealth or success.
2. Majority of Igbos only reside in those homes during the Christmas season. Typically only 1 - 2 weeks in a year.
3. Some mansion owners have passed away and buried there while his immediate family members don't bother returning to the mansion and remain in diaspora for security reasons.
4. Most Igbos build their country homes to be mausoleums when they pass.
