Efemena_xy: That's awfully unfair on you!Efemena, she has 'her projects'.Honestly I cant tell u what she does with her money cos she doesnt confide in me.I have found that paying the bills keeps her happy and lets peace reign. That's good enough for me.My grandfather told me when he was alive that' if u want to live in peace, pretend that u do not know that ur wife earns an income.and if and when u eventually find out that shecroes, never ever ask her for a penny'.I took my grandfather serious on this issue brcause I felt he should know.He had 4 wives after all! |
I want the 2005, 2006 or 2007 4runner.Tell me how much u can give me each of these 3 models for? |
No problem! We will brand them a charity organization.! |
So bursary still exists in this country?I didnt know there were states that still gave their students bursaries? |
I dont understand all this talk about shared responsibility.Marriage has opened my eyes.I and my wife work but I pay the bills. All the bills.I am not happy with this arrangement but I realized very early that she is very touchy about money.I once asked her what she does with her salary and she wouldnt tell me.My money is our money.Evrrybody's bills are my responsibility but her money is her money. When I lost my job a while back I saw hell at her hands and my mother in law told me off completely. Now that things look better she nd MIL are all cosying up to me. About dropping money,I drop of course.I even buy all sorts of foodstuff in bulk and give Madam money. Not really because I am happy doing it,but because of the kids. |
This is what Biafra did in 1966 and the full weight of the Nigerian Army fell on the perpetrators of 'treason' heavily. Now Ogoni and Bakassi are doing the same thing and it is ok!Na wa forNigeria.Treason remains treason! |
Biyi1471: Yenegoa to Benin is about 175km. I think the EOD fuel consumption is on the high side. Maybe with AC on as you rightly said that's the reason the car consumes half tank from Yenegoa to Benin. I have always liked EOD. Nice car.for only 175 km,half tank is a lot. |
hardbody: How do i even start to calculate the consumption. ok lets see....on a full tank, my montero takes me to benin and would have gone down to near half tank. You work that out yourself. From where!? |
Pls put the name and picture of only one of the naval officers who did this and let's take it from there. All I need is one name and one picture. |
Some people never learn.U cant attack the press and win, ever. Some fools have lost their jobs. |
The Honourable Minister's comments are accurate.Sport is about cash.It is business. In Cote d'Ivoire,I know that the funds that are used to run Sport Federations are gotten from private companies. The government assigns certain sports to companies as their corporate social responsibility and that is how tournaments are funded year round. We could replcate the same model here. |
Great post! She makes a lot of valid points.I am an information junkie yet know how difficult it can be to pick up a book and read to the end.It is something that can only be done through a strong will and the desire to see yourself become a better person. |
pretty_boi: In my close to 4 years of being on Nairaland, this is the dumbest post I hav ever seen. Does your post above make sense to you? Be honest. You see why black people remain ridden by the whites & other races? Because of people like you. How does it make sense to you to go invite other countries to come kill & destroy your own country & fellow brothers (irrespective of the difference in tribe or religion, you're Nigerians & Africans/blacks together.) The Igbo tribe deserved what they got in/from the 1967 Nigerian civil war by trying to secede & if I'm president today, any part of the country that tries that rubbish of trying to break out or secede (even if its my own hometown) would be razed down to zero. I sincerely promise that.So why is everyone watching the Ogoni people commit an act of treason, yet everyonekeeps quiet. If an Igbo group had done this,it would have hit the headlines and the SSS would have been breathing down their necks. |
pazienza: Thunder will fire any silly igbo leader that will try to get us involved with asari, ijaw and ogoni rubbish. We have gotten them where we want them,it's time for them to face their former ally,we should just sit on the fence.True Talk! |
Let me make it perfectly clear that Ndigbo are observers in all these events. We remain committed to the idea of One Nigeria and as patriotic as ever.Let no one try to rope the Igbo people into a fracas whose origin they do not know.We have fought our own war and faced our own demons. We have paid our dues as far as Nigeria is concerned. It is time for other nationalities in this great nation of ours to come to terms with the truth that was revealed as far back as 1968.Fellow Nigerians,'Good Morning!' |
Jarus: That car is great. If someone had told me I won't be driving it currently, I would have said it's impossible. When I wanted to change my Honda Accord EOD, all I had in mind was switching to Camry 07/08. I just love that car, but one thing led to the other and I found myself settling for a Toyoyta 4runner 05 as replacement. I still like Camry. So what has it been like driving the 4runner.I am coinsidering accquiring one myself. |
I need a reputable cooperative in Abuja |
Hi,I am looking for a reputable cooperative to join in Abuja.I dont think I am ready to deal with the commercial banks just yet.A cooperative is what I need right now. |
U dey pose?so pesin no fit price ya market?take 2.6. |
You see?!This is why moslems do not take Christians serious! It is ur right to dress the way u feel yet u want to be addressed seriously.Until we set some standards as Christians, the world will continue to see us as hypocrites. |
afam4eva: It's sad...RIP Chinonso.Poor Guy...just hustling to make a better life. |
afam4eva: It's sad...RIP Chinonso.Poor Guy... |
Sweetnecta,if you check the history of the civil war you will realise that Gowon was merely a pawn in the hands of the northern moslem power elite.Even Gen T.Y. Danjuma and other Christian middle belt officers who fought on the Federal side were mere tools. Now they know better. Islam has an image problem. In Nigeria,it is seen as the religion of the oppressor.Christians will let you live in peace and practise whatever faith you profess, but moslems will insist that you convert by force! |
I want to start a tv channel but have no clue how to go about it.I would like to know how to do the feasibility study and business plan.besides roughly how much would the project cost? |
Who is the guy sef?How does he rank alongside ppl like Tu Face,D Banj,P Square etc?I dont even know him.If he is behaving like this because of the success of what I believe is his only single, then I feel sorry for him. |
If MASSOB had tried this it would ave been called high treason.Let us see wat Jona does now that his own constituency is agitating. |
burning_spear: I ve used the Toyota 4Runner from 1996 to 2002 models. I can only advice you:Bros,how much canI get a tokunbo V6,3rd row seat,2005,4 runner? |
if the kids had been ugly, wouldnt u have been shocked? |
leave them to bury their mum.for a man,any man in fact, nothing is too expensive for his mother.besides like someone said this 50m figure is what the media tells us was spent.who knows the truth or have you seen a receipt? |
Money Laundering |
No problem whatsoever.I agree. It is the legitimate right of every Nigerian as enshrined in the constitution. However, what is the plan?We have gone beyond capturing power just for its own sake. What is the economic plan for Nigeria? What does the North want to do that will make its bid viable.Like it or not,Nigerians are a lot more enlightened and Arewa may find out to its own chagrin that the entire north may not be sold on the idea of the region producing the next President. |
Fellow Nigerians, please let us stop clutching at straws and trying to defend what is obviously wrong.Let us accept the fact.I see people trying to defend the fact that graduates are making very basic grammatical and spelling errors.Things have gone from bad to worse.I remember reading some letters written by my late grandfather who died over 20 years ago. They were flawless sndquite impressive for someone whose highest qualification was a primary 7 school leaving certificate.I also know that I and several of my classmates could compose standard essays when we were still in form 4 in secondary school. So if today,a graduate says he can not construct simple English because he is an Engineering/Science graduate,I want to ask,in what language did they get their degree and what language do they think will be used to communicate in the workplace? I remember trying to correct a girl who was typing in short form on facebook.I told her this short thing would damage her English. She asked me not to bother her ad it was the " in thing" |
