If it was PDP at the centre, and election was looking this close, the kind abracadbra that would have been done by now ehhhh.

APC is a lesser evil than PDP.

it's not about cancelled vote but margin of win.

Gubernatorial and Presidential elections are not decided by simple majority win like in legislative elections, but by the number (more than half LGA's or states won respectively) so as you can see the margin of LGA's won so far is very close.

so like I said earlier prepare for a rerun
it is about both.

If the Margin of win is less than the total registered number of voters in the cancelled polling units. polling units from those cancelled spots will have to undergo a rerun election.

Sometimes in politics people value a fresh face
His relatively okay performance today on a very weak platform says otherwise. Anti APC protest votes had a strong PDP option and platform, and would rarely gamble on a PDP platform. it takes core loyalists to vote an unknown SDP platform Fayemi was not a fresh face in Ekiti, and even lost all 16 local governments in 2014.

Senatorial election was his home base.....the wider osun and SW elders decided his fate since
He had over 40% of total votes in election in 2014 against a strong Aregbesola . A weaker APC and unpaid civil servants salaries in 2018 would have changed the equation. It would have been wiser for PDP to lose Adeleke than let Omisore leave.

Omisore's fate was decided the day Bola ige died
Not necessarily, he became a Senator from cell after Bola Ige's death, and won another bye election after also. He also earned over 40% of the votes in 2014, at the strongest point of APC in Osun. I doubt he has anything to offer though. But the result clearly showed PDP was stupid to let Omisore leave PDP. I will want the APC fellow to win.

If PDP had fielded Omisore, it would have easily won this election in my opinion. I have a feeling APC will take this at the end of collation.

The Closest and most practical out of the political circle candidate is SOWORE. He is street wise, however his campaign is yet to build momentum, he is still way off the mark to appear as a contender. Sowore is quite smart and doing great underground work, though it is still like a drop of water in an ocean. He needs lots of consensus, and possible crowd funding from grassroots to move away from a pretender zone.

Buying of votes is not a new phenomena. It is an old trick, in fact snatching of ballot boxes and massive thumb printing used to common in PDP days. Any sane person knows that is a more dangerous situation. If any one comes to buy your votes, you have a choice to refuse and vote your will, or collect and still vote your will. It is not a gun-point situation. It is a way lesser evil than snatching of ballot boxes.

Family › Re: "My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home" The True Story by chinchum(m): 3:15am On Jul 30, 2018
I think most people making comments here are not reading between the lines..... The wife ERRED GREATLY by having the house name SOLELY in her name. That was wrong and vindictive.... and somehow a betrayal of trust. Marriage is team work , and the husband did not necessarily squander his earnings on a wrong venture.

In addition, i also think what many people are not considering is that the wifes strong outburst and disrespect for her husband even in the presence of her husband's family member is most likely her perceived sense of "UPPER HAND" in the marriage, since the house is solely in her name. I stand to be corrected, but i will like to know if accusations of infidelity without proof had been there before the house ownership huh.

I do agree that the op (husband) erred by asking his wife to leave the house, and i think like most men will feel in such circumstances, he felt defeated with such accusations and disrespect and wanted to provoke her in a wrong way.... two wrongs do not make a right.

The husband did not really expect the wife in the first instance to have the house solely in his own name, but he expected a joint name, and even trusted her enough not to check or confirm if that is the case. The wife betrayed the husband in my opinion. His egos which i agree is at play is obviously bruised, but unfortunately it is not only the ego that has been bruised, the trust has been dashed. The wifes action has shown what she is capable of doing as long as she feels she has an "upper hand". The husband's request for a total change of name is coming on this premise.

In my opinion, judging from the report of both sides, i feel the wife should go ahead and change the name to a joint ownership , and apologise to her husband for her attitude. The husband should also swallow his ego and make peace with his wife.

You guys are rejoicing and applauding police impunty because fayose belongs to opposition, right?

You should remember that Buhari isnt immortal and will not rule forever.

One day, Buhari will leave office and the seed of discord being sown under his government against opposition will be brought to book..
What if the seed of discord was actually sown by PDP when they were in power? I know Fayose at close quarters. Fayose is a first grade tyrant !, and he wont take a quarter of what he dishes out. Little wonder he is imposing a deputy governor on the state. In 2014, State governors from Rivers, Edo state were harassed and guns pointed at them in Ondo State from Akure airport to not even enter Ekiti state for a solidarity APC rally !, In 2015, APC EKiti house of assembly were in the majority , they were not only chased out of the house of assembly, they were chased OUT of ekiti state with connivance of thugs. 6 PDP HOA members were used used to impeach 24 APC HOA. Fayemi was equally teargassed as a Governor during the 2014 election. There are lots of his intolerance that are not hard to find.....

While i do not support tyranny, i am forced to be indifferent because the APC to have only shown him a minute of fraction of what he is good at.

There are families with over 10 as nuclear families in most parts of the country where this Abacha loot will be shared, are all of them not also regarded as the poorest of the poor??

There are also such nuclear families over 12 in Places down south south , in my own opinion, aggregating the money , could help the families out.
Have you been to interior Akwa ibom, and the swampy shores of Bayelsa states before? I don't want to mention names, you will see what we call realtime poverty.

even if its #500 , thse people will appreciate you !!!!!
So sharing 2 us dollars to families with even 10 nuclear families is the solution..... Is that not 20usd......to help you understand , that is less than a total of 8000 naira, using your extreme projection of 10 members in a nuclear family.

Bro, I will advice you to stop this your myopic thinking. I repeat again, never you support mediocrity just by letting your emotions take control of you. Shalom!
I am yet to understand your thought pattern. Are you in any way saying that Argentina was outplayed because they lost to France? Is France not the team rated by most pundits to win the world cup? Agreed Argentina let it self down conceding 3 goals in 10 mins in the second half. Even with a Messi who barely came to the party yesterday , Arg almost got a late equaliser. Football is not Mathematics, If it was , Spain will not be out of the worldcup at the expense of less fancied Russia. My general point still says. The Nigerian team didnt do too badly, i believe it suffered from a wrong second half substitution and less of luck in the final game, and i strongly believe it gave too much respect to its opponent, it is sometimes an issue of psychology. It is a TERRIBLE thing to go in to a match feeling inadequate, something most african teams are guilty of. It is that sense of inferiority complex that good football managers need to work on in a tourney, not making statements like my team is average. We saw an eagles with 0 shot on goal in the first half against iceland to almost 15 shots in the 2nd half.

yes there was bias in the second half from the ref, it seems everyone wants to see messi not Argentina in the world cup.

2) ighalo is a below par striker, no difference between the goal he missed and the first one Musa scored against Iceland.

3) In any international tournament, Nigeria must make sure they have 50% home based and 50 international players. there was lack of hunger from the players.

4) etebo is the only world class player in the super eagles.

5) Nigeria should learn from Senegal and make use of local coaches.

6) Argentina is a very poor team, they won with experience and hunger
Musa's first goal was way harder....

The fact that you are a Nigerian doesn't shy you away from an obvious truth. Inferiority complex kor, superiority complexion ni.
It is people like you that will simply vote Ighalo is the best striker in the world because you are afraid of inferiority complex and you will downplay your own African goddess because of a whiteman god too.
You need to check yourself bro
You are not making any sense. The best african team in this tournament is Nigeria, you can choke on that. Croatia with resting 9 of its players still won 2-1 against iceland. When Nigeria was playing the world cup qualifiers that had cameroon, algeria, Zambia. I can bet a million naira, weak minded fellows like you will be everywhere downplaying the super eagles and mouthing off about how we were the worst team in the group WC qualifiers. People with such complex as yours hardly knows. It is a mental block you will need to deal with it. At 1-1, the match could have gone either away, I would not support a failure, my earlier comment on a different thread support my belief that Ighalo was not the type of striker we should have on the pitch for 45 mins. Mark my words, this Argentine team will play 7 games in this tourney.

Nigerians overreact way too much; always looking for a fall guy.

You folks should cut the guy some slack, he only had a bad day. It could've been any other player; football is no BODMAS
A striker with one goal in tens of game should be at best last five or ten minutes player, he has delivered consistent bad days. If there was a player i didnt want in , until at worst last 10 mins, it was ighalo. My guts didnt fail me. Even the subtituted Iheabacho if he was still on the pitch will most likely do better than that.
