Benue and Plateau are going according to planned.

APC cannot lose Kaduna, but PDP are getting more votes there in 2019 than they did in 2015. Kwara is out of it as well. I doubt anyone is projecting a PDP win in Kwara

And as usual, PDP has won FCT.
same is happening with apc in delta, akwa ibom, edo,. Doiing better than 2015... It is going to be a double digit lead in terms of percentages, there wont be a rerun.... Voters turnout in the se is also low

Mr man, stop being wise by half, every budget cycle the conractors always have a time they leave work and projects get stalled. FAshola faced a lot of issues in getting budget for the road from the lawmakers. Now as regards completion of the road as at May 29, 2015. It was barely 10%. My office was along the expressway uptil the middle of 2017 when I left. I worked there for over 5 years. I commute every forthnight from Ibadan to Lagos.

I suspect there are some underlying factors as to you not emotionally attached. You have to be sincere with yourself and dig the true reason out

1. Is she not physically beautiful as you will want your wife to appear.... physical beauty includes attributes like facial appearance, height, weight, e.t.c?
2. Is she domineering in a way, and it bruises your male ego? she sounds like a bold and daring woman from your narration.

3. All human beings tend to have a complex if they don't try to isolate and kill it. Do you think you feel inferiority complex to her?

4. Do you have concerns with her family upbringing or nature of her family members?

5. Do you think you are not compatible religious wise?

Answer those questions in your closet sincerely.......

This is what they are thinking of using to declare 1.5 million votes in Rivers, e.t.c PDP rigged the 2015 elections in many SS states in 2015 though. I keep laughing at those making bogus projections for PDP on Feb. 16, election. There wont be any where PDP will score up to 1 million votes .. PDP will be lucky to score 900,000 votes in any state

Politics › Re: Presidential Election: ANAP Opinion Poll Gives Buhari Edge by chinchum(m): 4:03pm On Feb 12, 2019
Some people think this election will only be conducted in SE and SW. Those two regions have the biggest online presence. The feelers from responses online can be deceptive, and should not be used in overall estimation of who wins. In terms of percentages, it is going to be a double digit difference on Saturdays election. APC's worst performance would be APC 55% to PDP 45%

Nigeria problem is a public knowledge, its known world wide because we export it around the world
There is nothing wrong about talking Nigeria's problem, it is the people who are quick to denigrate the country and call it horrible names that I described . You said they are not mutually exclusive, which implies you agree they are two different things.

They are not mutually exclusive
They are mutually exclusive!. I hope Nigerians realise that. Yes, we have a problem and we can talk about that problem. Running down your country as "useless, foolish, worst country in the world....... bla bla bla" is denigrating. I have discovered virtually all the times that people who are quick to denigrate the country are terrible human beings, who if placed to lead a community of 100 people will be outright disaster. I was watching an Instagram post where there was a gang war in Nigeria, and the guy at the end of the recording was quick to say , "and you call this a country". Is America immune to gang wars? Is America not a country?
Many Nigerians are quick to call others the problem and not check themselves. Someone once suggested throwing bomb in to the joint National assembly seating ,and Nigeria's problem will be solved and I simply asked if they are all killed, will the new representatives be voted in from mars?

Politics › Re: My Prediction: 2019 State By State Presidential Election Results by chinchum(m): 5:09pm On Feb 10, 2019
The voters turnout in SE &SS are somewhat overrated, it is going range from 35% -55%. These are two northern extraction candidates.

PDP rigged the numbers in 2015 presidential in rivers, delta and even Akwaibom in 2015..... Don't forget that.

The Op tried doing a dispassionate job, but his preference affected his analysis.

That is why Nigeria is screwed up and i don't know that African country that envy us
Africa's problem is not just leadership, followership is also one. Our leaders are a reflection of the followers. It is quite difficult to get a leader remarkably different from the quality of followers. The more the quality of followers improves, it also translates to the quality of leaders they elect to lead them. As a Nigerian living in diaspora, I know better than expecting a magic bullet change. Nigeria will grind out the positive change it wants, and it will indirectly be driven by the populace. I will never subscribe to denigrating my country. I can talk about my country's problem, but will not denigrate it.

how long is that phase?people have lived and died praying for a better society,We are not at war unlike somalia or congo,we are not ruled by one dictator as will be the excuse of cameroun and uganda,we don't have famine like mauritania and eritrea. What is Nigeria's excuse? Those countries aforementioned know their problems and will get out of it someday, what is Nigeria's problem?
People die everyday in any nation.
it is typically within 50-100 years of a typical nation for a country to witness remarkable growth . Nigeria got its independence in 1960, with a literacy rate of barely 25%. we will get it right, and I believe we will get it right gradually, it is not going to be a magic bullet change. As sad as we may want to admit, we are better of than we were 20 years ago. the growth in the last 20 years has been a painfully slow one, but we have moved if you will be sincere with yourself. Nigeria had fought a civil war, currently battling a terrorism war, battled with oppressive dictators and outlived it within the last 58 years of independence, Most of the core issues with the country e.g poor power supply, unemployment for the youths, non functional oil refinery , weak educational systems, poor infrastructures e.t.c are all linked together. Do you know that Nigeria uses at least 30% of its foreign reserves to import refined fuel, Did you know weak foreign reserves put pressure on our currency? Did you know weak currency affects the economy? I am of the believe that in less than 3 years from now Nigerians will stop importing refined crude oil. Do you know that job creation can increase with improved power supply, functional and efficient micro credit schemes and security? I also believe in 10 years from now, Nigerians will look back at how much of progress we have made as a country in the area of power supply to homes and industries, better credit systems for entrepreneurs e.t.c

More jobs for the people means more taxable individuals with income. More accrued taxes for government tends to translate to more revenue to build infrastructure(transport, education, health e.t.c). Nigeria needs like an annual budget of not less than 30 trillion naira, not the 8 trillion naira budget we are currently on that can not cater for roughly 200 million Nigerians.

There are actually more countries on the continent with worst passport values than the ones you listed there. This post is sadly part of the ongoing stupid self-denigration that has characterised most Nigerians. I have traveled the length and breadth of Africa, and I can tell you with confidence that very few countries on the continent can compare with Nigeria on any/every index of measurement. We have a myriad of problems, but believe me, we are not what people tell you we are. Travel and see.
God bless you.... Self denigration is really shameful, no one can bleach out their nationality. I am unapologetically Nigerian. We may be going through our developmental issues , but I believe it is a phase....

The pdp is ashamed. APC has weathered the storm to still have very tangible projects in the midst of quite low revenue and recession caused by fall in oil price, and very poor forex reserves inherited from PDP.

The worst is over in my opinion. The next 4 years will produce far more achievement than the last 3 and half years
Politics › Re: Southwest May Determine Buhari/atiku Fate. by chinchum(m): 9:46pm On Feb 05, 2019
The SW will be needed for him to secure the 25% in 24 states no doubt. While APC will surely get the needed over 25% in the 19 northern states, it needs at least 5 more southern states to achieve at least 25% to prevent a run-off. If there are two regions, I am sure Buhari will do better than he did in 2015 , it is ironically the SE and the SS. However, APC will still not achieve 25% in at least 7 out of the combined 11 states in SE/SS.

Buhari will win with at least 55% of total votes cast..btw PDP and APC. He will be declared the winner by February 17, 2019 late in the night.

Politics › Re: Looking At Sokoto, Jigawa, Zamfara And Kano 2015 Presidential Results by chinchum(m): 9:15pm On Feb 05, 2019
From both sides, there have been changes that are detrimental and beneficial.

Examples of what changed are Sokoto was governed at the state level by APC, Jigawa and Zamfara was governed by PDP at the state and national level in 2015. Election was between a Northerner and Southerner.

Let me educate some Zombies on how politics works!

Atiku don't need to win Kano state. He only needs atlist 40% of Kano's votes. That's all. As you know, Kano gave pmb above 1.9million votes in 2015 while PDP got less Dan 250 thousand votes from the region. Now going by kwankwanso's movement in Kano. I can categorically tell you that the APC votes in Kano will just be a little above PDP's Kano votes, that's if APC wins Kano in the first place.

Now let's take a look at Rivers state. The state is predominantly a PDP state. Rivers gave PDP 1.4 million votes in 2015, close to 1.5 million. While APC only got 69 thousand + votes in Rivers.

My point? Apc's strongest state is Kano, while PDP's strongest state is Rivers. Going by recent appenings, PDP will sure get above 25% votes in APC's strongest state which is Kano and APC don't stand a chance in Rivers (PDP's strongest state).... Which is already a win win for PDP. Kano will not produce as much votes it produced for APC in 2015, but Rivers will sure produce more Dan wat it delivered for PDP in 2015, this makes it a win win for PDP.

I rest my case! Politics is all about numbers, and getting more votes from ur opposition's strongest place.
you truly believe the 1.5million votes in rivers..? If pdp gets 800k votes in Rivers, it is really fortunate. Voters turnout in an election of two northern extraction candidates cant be more than 60% voters turnout. Apc is now at centre. You will do well to lower your expectation. No states in Nigeria wil provide pdp up to 900000 votes in presidential election.take that to the bank

Anyone who is president when this project fully comes on stream would have a smooth sail with the economy. And as is usually the case for politicians, the govt then would claim all the glory saying it's their stellar economic policy that's yielding fruits.
It Is surely a project that would have a large impact on the economy positively. This project should come to fruition late next year and by the year 2021 in my estimation, Nigeria will end importation of refined petroleum products. I opine that Nigeria will witness a catalytic development starting from the next 5 years (2024).

Lagos Ibadan expressway and Lagos-Ibadan railway are core projects that must be completed in the SW The SW cant afford to let these projects stalled or uncompleted due to a change in government. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Self interest is key in politics. APC must win the presidential election massively in the SW.
