xynerise: Useless, stewpid, antelopic and jobless hoodlums wont go and start a small scale business to help their pathetic generation. Whoever call extortion of money a law must be high on psychedelic drugsNo be small thingoooo. They are getting greedier by the day. These parasites collect as much as N100k just for dekking. |
Dem wan spoil the make be that. Wrong move. I will going for a Maybach now. A Bently SUV ? !!!!. |
Why all the hoopla about who built or owns these houses ?. Let it be clear to all that LAGOS is bigger than any tribe in Nigeria. Be it Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or SS people. Yoruba's can only claim Lagos Geographically. That's where it ends. LAGOS and ABUJA are special cases in Nigeria. It's wishful thinking for any tribe to claim them. Nigerians will tell you who owns Lagos when and if you are dumb enough to enforce those claims. Lagos is both National and international. Quit kidding yourselves. I love those houses and i'm happy for those who can afford them. However, there's a lot of corrupt money buried in those manshions. |
I have never paid attention to this issue and i honestly don't consider it important. It's very far from my bed. I'm more concerned about fighting Corruption and having constant electricity-24/7 in Nigeria. Child marriage is solely a problem of the Northerners and the parents that give a 12 tear old out for marriage. POVERTY is the root of this "problem". Only very poor parents give their child out for marriage. But one question still bothers me - How come, that nature or God has made it possible for a 13yr old to get pregnant and bear children ?. Note: In most villages in Southern Nigeria, underage girls still get married. |
joseph1013: And please, why does Keshi like this Ameobi so much? Time will tell sha.I'm very much on your side on this one. Keshi should keep him on the bench UNTIL he proves himself. If say England give am shirt, we for no see the guy 'break light' |
blink182: see your stewpid president starring like he actually knows how to use his brain. You are the STEWPID one. Product of very dumb parents. HE IS YOUR PRESIDENT. LIKE IT OR NOT. |
I can live with the decision of the appeal court. The man has paid his dues. |
justwise: Please stop jumping in and out of frying pan, you are just muddling issues here. Its called racism in the west, in Nigeria is tribalism, so the three major tribes in the Nigeria hugs and exchange flowers? Igbo or Yoruba man can move to North and live happily? Don't give me that shabby social analyses because it doesn't hold water. It appears you do not know the difference between Classes, Tribes, and RACES. It's regrettable to see you mix up racism with tribalism. Until you can tell the difference and the level of PAIN associated with each practise, it's pointless going further with this debate. |
justwise: Is funny when Nigerians say that as if Nigerians are treated as first class citizens in Nigeria. People who are entitled to dole in the UK can claim it because their govt cares for them and will feed them, can Nigeria govt do that?UK is the founder, originator and creator of Class distinction. I'm talking about England before the white man ever knew Africa existed. 1st and 2nd class citizens exist in all cultures since the begining of mankind. But, please do not confuse class distinction with RACISM. In the West, lower class whites still consider themselves better than Upper class blacks. I'm sure you've heard this phrase before " i may be poor, but thank God i a'int no Nigger ". I have seen White beggers refuse to accept money from a Blackman. There will come a time when Nigeria will be able to pay welfare cheques. What the NIMC is doing is just the first step. We did not start the same time with the UK govt. |
I like Rita Dummynick. Happy Birthday. |
I wish for a time where people will fight hard to become citizens of Nigeria!
Well, an American once fought his deportation from Nigeria. So did the Choudry brothers (Indians). Many Lebanese and Indian Nigerians would never swap Naija for any other country. |
Diasporan: Am not in support of what this chaps did cause what doing is what doing well considering the recent crackdown on sham marriages in the UK but Funny how people rush to condemn the parties involved.Let truth be told Nigeria is a hell of a cesspit. If the so called country people are clamouring for is good the dude wouldn't have contemplated staying back in the UK knowing fully well that he has a good job waiting for him back home but instead the reverse is the case.I know of a guy who did his masters in the UK and came back home. Two years has passed by still he hasn't gotten a good job.He is regretting every bit of his coming back. What student will graduate in the UK considering the huge cash spent and knowing his family does not have the necessary connection to secure him a job if he returns back will not want to do anything to stay back?Who wants to hurriedly return to a country where Honourable members threaten to shoot a Governor,A country where a day doesn't pass by with you reading how people call their President slowpoke and other embarrassing names, the only country in history where the President went missing for months.Ironically many people yapping thrash here are still jambites and are still living with their parent.you all should wait and test the real world of unemployment before saying there is no place like Nigeria. That is how a dude here on NL was saying I will never go abroad cause things are happening in Nigeria. He was even saying those abroad should come back home funny enough the dude is a damn leech. He keep on calling me to send him money.Infact I regretted replying his PM and giving him my number.Bunch of hypocrites. Bla,bla,bla...balderdash. How many times have we not heard and read such trash from complete LOSERS who cannot afford to return to our beloved Naija. People who are content to play second fiddle and settle for less. Lazy bones, who cannot hustle in Naija knowing fully well that they can always collect the dole ( welfare cheques) if all things fail. Please speak for your self and allow Nigerians with genuine intention to return to Nigeria to decide for themselves how " Bad" Nigeria is. YOU ARE NOT THE ROLE MODEL. |
Fashola as a 'SAN' should stop comming up with worthless policies that will not stand in any court. Those who registered with ' fake' documents are liable, but those who have not registeed at all cannot be compelled to do so before 31st july. Fashola would have to give me a loan or grant b4 31st july if he expects me to register my land b4 then. I simply do not have the money yet to pay for the outrageous fees they charge for the C of O. So, if you want me to register before then, give the money or reduce the fees drastically. We are not talking N5 or N10 thousand naira. Some people may have to pay 100s of thousands of naira and even in millions. WE WILL REGISTER WHEN WE CAN AFFORD IT. |
She looks fresh. Goodluck to her. |
Maybe an Igbo man is needed this time around. This is my thinking and i no get the time or MBs to reply to any i.diotic comment. An Igbo governor will do wonders for Lagos. |
miteolu: CAF is using this championship to develop the HOME BASE PLAYERS. It is just a baby version of Nation Cup for only Home Base. Another objective is to expose the indoors (home base players) talents in Africa. CHAN will be played in home & away matched as against regular Nations cup where all the participating teams will converge in one country or two countries (co- host)Thanks for the info. I was thinking " but Nigeria just won the Nations cup". Now i know. |
What exactly is this CHAN championship and how is it different from the Nations Cup?. |
Traditional is what certifies you married in the eyes of your people. The people that own you. Court wedding is needed for some legal issues that concerns the government. However, Traditional wedding takes care of most things in Africa, including some legal/ inhertance issues. So Tradiotional is a MUST. |
.....besides if you bring in N25billion now, you will have to explain to Sanusi where the money came from. Back in the days when these banks were set up, you don't have to explain nothing to nobody. |
Jarus: So what you are saying is, banks can never become huge from deposits from "market women, Vulcanizers and civil servants", but through corrupt people? In NIgeria, they don't woo. They collude... Like somebody rightly pointed out, it will be very difficult to try that hustle now. Where you see N25billion ?!!. Yes, Dangote and a few others can, but not a fresh graduate from Havard, Cambridge or Nsukka. |
Jarus: I hate mindsets like these. You would be naive if you actually believed that these banks became huge from deposits made by market women, Vulcanizers and civil servants. These banks were set up in the most corrupt era our nation has ever known. Don't even bring in Mark Zuckerberg here. Besides, we have our own mark in Seun. |
I'm actually embarassed to show to any other passport that is not Green. I tend to hide my Red passport as a matter of fact. But the guy that said "the your passport colour does not matter if you fly First class" hit the nail on the head. It's not the passport, but the person carrying it that matters. Those immigration officers look at you first b4 deciding what to do with your Kpali. |
Gbawe: You're kidding right? Why do some of you say inane things because you are desperate to get the upper hand when arguing with others? Why not, if patently honest, stick to the truth to make your case while avoiding examples that make you lie senselessly? What you put up there ranks high as one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read.NO. not kidding. I stand 100% on my assertion that "HUMAN LIFE IS WORTH MUCH MORE IN NAIJA THAN IN UK OR US. Do i even need to explain that to you. People are being killed on the streets of London for just a pack of Marlboro. Kids are carrying knives all over the place, ready to stab you on the slightest provocation. Not to mention ' Drive by shootings" It's a cultural thing bro. We,Africans put more premium on human life than those white kids and Ghetto black kids in the Western world. Kids don't kill kids in Nigeria. Do i need to remind you of school shootings in the West. IN Naija we abhor blood. In London they want to see blood. 2 people could fight to death on the streets of London and nobody will raise a finger to stop or separate them. Call the police?. Yea, but most young people dont give a f*uck. Like i said, bro,it's a cultural difference. Forget about how organized the system is. Those places still have the highest crime rate in th world. Especially homicide. Are you even aware of how low Murder cases are in Nigeria?. Anyway, i'm running low on MBs. I'm running on GLONetpro. So i may not hang around much to argue. The truth is that i feel SAFER in Nigeria (Lagos) than i London. Actually my biggest fear in the West is some RACIST skin head stabbing me on the streets just for being " BLACK". |
50calibre: Hahaha Yes UK = Dry land but peace, security and value for human livesNIGERIA ! NIGERIA !! NIGERIA!!! . I have lived in both places so i'm in a good position to choose. Besides human life is worth a lot more in Naija than in UK. YOU were hungry in Nigeria. Hence UK is heaven for you. Free money on the dole. I quite understand where you're comming from. |
cap28: the british govt are responsible for keeping over 80% of nigerians in poverty - they have got Nigeria neck deep in debt, the money their banks make from the interest generated from these loans alone is what they are using to prop up their welfare state and provide a decent standard of livng for their own people while the vast majority of Nigerians live in poverty as if that isn't bad enough they now expect those who want to escape this poverty to part with a whopping £3,000 - how many average british people can afford to part with £3,000 for a visa?Escape which 'poverty'. this 3000 pds was introduced for people like you. You have a very pathetic mindset. No sane person leaves Nigeria to the UK to " Escape poverty".Those who do that were already poor in Nigeria or just plain greedy. They wanted MORE. Note that i mean those Nigerians who obtain a 3 months visitors visa only to disappear in the UK. Some Students too. |
This dude retired as an army general in his 40s. Was dashed an oil block owned by us all. Nigeria has really been good to him. Now, he should just shut his f*cking mouth before we explode in anger. I get really annoyed any time Danjuma, IBB or OBJ makes any comment about the state of Nigeria. THEY SHOULD JUST SHUT UP AND WAIT FOR DEATH. They're all heading to hell. |
...meanwhile, a South Korean student with a backpack will just stroll across the UK border controle with just 300 pounds spend money. Shame on Nigeria. We have really rubbished ourselves. We are marked all over the world. Shame to IBB and OBJ and to the other past leaders to a lesser extent They should increase the bond to 10,000 pounds. I cannot think of any good reason to visit UK. |
I hope Musa and Ideye are watching. They need to learn how to behave and act in front of a goal with only the keeper to beat. That chip from Alvarez ( i think that was his name ) na DIE. It was mathematically plotted. However, i feel Mehico will bounce back. |
RedBenson: This is a typical scene of what high rate of unemployment/joblessness is all abt. Coming to a social network by dis time (11:38am) and see young souls busy here doing nothing than finger.ing thier phones/pcs typing unimportant/useless comments show that the economy is jerking and the govt is not helping matters. On an obvious scene, which gainfully employed souls would be here typing irrelevant comments when they've a lot on thier desks to deliver b4 4pm? Na joblessness dey cause am and to help keep the jobless souls busy, thus the emancipation of this forum. Gainfully employed folks only come here at night and chat. This is the result of high rate of unemployment. NA GOVERNMENT CAUSE AM!!!What's your point. This a stoopid response. |
We need to beat Uruguay. Period. Let's not be decieved by this 6-1 win against Tahiti. All 3 guys wasted a lot of chances. |
CFCfan: Lol. Tahiti are the Oceania championsI see. Australia put them away all these while. Now, i understand why Australia left. But waitooo. What happened to New Zealand. |
Looks like a young Bianca Onoh in the 2nd pic. |
