abbey621: I like the first part of your comment it definitely makes sense but the second part shows you still have much to learn, for example do you know that a person flipping burgers making minimum wage of $7.25 and working full time hours of 32 hours or more makes about $750 after taxes per month, that's about 120,000 naira per month. The job might look demeaning but the pay outweighs what most banks starts new employees with. The biggest problem I have with most Nigerians is that we confuse the nature of a job with it's relevance. I know many Nigerian graduates making less than 120,000 naira a month and yet they boast of working in banks or one misguided profession, never downgrade a fellow human being based on his or her profession without having all the facts!

1.Corruption is institutionalized.
2.Inconsequential nations have no respect for us any more
3.Elections results are determined through the barrel of a gun
4.Ritual murder has become very familiar and normal
5.The male youth go in fraud and are proud of it
6.A very high percentage of the female youth are into prostitution runz
7.Kidnappers are the high and mighty in society and are envied
8.You get rewarded for doing wrong and get punished for being noble
9.We import what we have and export what we have not

11. 98% of the so-called proud ones will gladly swap their nationality for a western one.
12. You get insulted overseas for being Nigerian and when you get home the insults are even worse.......right from immigration at the airport.
13. We claim to be rich but we cannot provide basic amenities for ourselves
14. We kill ourselves daily due differences in ethnicity, religion and political affiliations
15. The leadership is clueless and will still be voted in again for another round of cluelessness by a clueless people.

3) 419'ers every where

4) Bribery at all levels

6) Strike action every month...even doctors, one day e go be prisons officers on strike.(Wonder why dem neva still go strike till now)

7) Suffering pensioners every where complaining abt the same thing...non-payment

Exam malpractice has become a norm...

9) No electricity

10) No pipe-borne water!

Finally, I provide electricity for myself (I pass my neighbor), provide shelter with my meagre salary, provide water for myself (my bore-hole), provide security for myself (Musa my gate man), we contributed money to grade our roads here... etc.

What does the government do? And u tell me to be proud of this country of shyt? Damn!
