0lumide:There is no provocation,by me; but, if you think you all will wreck havic on Igbos and other groups in lagos then you might as well prepare for a war that will end up a loss on your side. As long as nigeria is a country, that attempt by you all will meet a high loss to your people on ur land and a bunch of militants entering from atlas cove. Like i said go head and try it. Those of us who have lived or gone to lagos know the consequences so keep talking. ![]() |
0lumide:I dare you all to start tribal nonsense in Lagos today, lol. ![]() |
If true, the former governor of Borno, who is alleged to be behind the creation of the Boko Haram terrorists, may have told them to calm it down or abandon the thing soon since they(FG) are now on his tail. |
EzeUche:This is about anioma, not yorubas. Stick to igbo affairs. Let them deal with themselves. ![]() |
Obiagu1:Methinks we need to put up editorials in Vanguard, The Sun, etc. about Anioma State periodically. |
Now back on topic, is there any sign of SE politicians discussing Anioma? An article or whatever? |
Onlytruth: ![]() |
jason123:What do you mean by the bolded? |
bellten:Yes brother. In anyway possible, we have to drill this into SE politician's heads. Like your said, it is high time! |
2mch:This will be my last reply to you----- The article proves my point even more, smh. Funny. |
2mch:And who told you that they are yorubas? They are mere hybrids. Call them yoruba and watch your head roll. Shikena ![]() |
2mch:There is no such area in Anioma that belongs to olukumi. Lets get that straight. Don't indulge in something you know nothing about. |
ChinenyeN:Okwu ![]() |
EzeUche:Point blank. ![]() |
Bellten, thank you for this beautiful posting. Chyz* has personally endorsed it and with signature. ![]() |
Seanet1000:Roflmao! Hey, as long as we continue to take revenue away from Lagos i'm good. ![]() |

jason123:It's all on the link I posted. Read the Mandate link on the left side and also read the other for a better understanding. (http://www.kwenu.com/biafra/biafra.htm) [flash=350,350] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-__6EwtRLeM[/flash] [flash=350,350] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrfUrJO-E0A&feature=related[/flash] |
jason123:They new this before. Its even on recording(audio) and paper. Biafra was set up in the same vain as the Easterners lived in their land traditionally, no king. All is for his own. Parliamentary system. Saro-wiwa was just an average joe who didn't know much. As you can see from his write up, he not only feared "Igbo domination" but "Ijaw(the biggest of the minority in his area) domination". That was where his ignorance messed him up. |
ekt_bear:Don't go talking about something you know nothing about. Do yourself that favor. Was Ojukwu even heading the Eastern region in the 50s? Lol. . . "Which the Eastern Region vigorously fought against until Gowon created them?" Weren't the minorities part of the Eastern Region, so how does this(^^^) even make sense? So according to you, the minorities also fought against true federalism, lol. Wake up. |
jason123:No he went back to Igbos because of regret. He finally understood that he jumped the gun and that he was wrong. Neighbor? Because geographically we are closer? haha. . .If he had the money during and after war time to fly to all of those Western cities then location was never a problem. He could have taken himself to the yorubas and stayed away from the Big Ban Igbos. He wanted true federalism, which he would have gotten had Biafra been a country. Take a look: BIAFRA’S PROVINCES & ADMINISTRATORS Aba Mr. Moses Onwuma* Abakaliki Mr. Samuel Mgbada Annang Chief Ekukinam Bassey Awka Mr. Paul Nwokedi Calabar Prof. Eyo Bassey Ndem Degema Mr. S. N. Dikibo Eket Mr. S. J. Edoho Enugu Mr. Christian Chukwuma Onoh Nsukka Mr. Frank Onyeke Ogoja Mr. Frank Ugbut Oji River Dr. Godwin A. Odenigwe Okigwe Mr. Sam I. Mbakwe Onitsha Mr. R. I. Iweka Opobo Dr. S. J. Cookey Orlu Mr. R. I. Uzoma Owerri Mr. Duke Njiribeakor Port Harcourt Mr. Emmanuel Aguma Umuahia Mr. Simeon Ojukwu Uyo Chief J. Udo-Affiah Yenegoa Chief Frank Opigo http://www.kwenu.com/biafra/biafra.htm Every province was headed by the tribal people of that province, true federalism. |
jason123:Saro-Wiwa was not the voice of the Ogonis. Making that claim makes him no different than Ojukwu in respect to his claim of a so-called "overlord" by Saro-wiwa. The guy was a fool. He says Igbo wanted to dominate is people in Biafra, then he turns around and says the Ijaw try to dominate his people in his state while in nigeria. ![]() |
jason123:During the war and especially after the war. The guy had no shame. For him to come crawling to Igbos(Ohanaeze Ndigbo) for their help, in tears, is a shame. At least be a man. Go to the people of the man you said would have understood, awolowo. Why go to the people of the man you hated and his people who you proudly mocked and ridiculed during their time of sutterage? Makes no sense at all. |
jason123:This write up is not the complete version. Check out the bolded(the one I bolded). Would be good if you found it and posted it. ![]() The bolded makes no sense. Another example of why the write up was cut short. |
jason123:cool. |
Just to respect boundaries, is this a yoruba thread or is it for all? |
Ileke-IdI:It's funny that you talk about sensitivity when you cannot even desist from responding to an "attack" or a "retaliation" from someone who gets into disagreement with you. That my dear is sensitivity at it's ripest. |
adejoro75:Hey, no need to indulge in their stupidity bruh. The direct flights have taken away from their revenue in Lagos so things just keep getting worse for them. Once the Enugu airport gos fully international their airport will collapse. Come see revenue(big ego) in Igboland. ![]() |
If you all want tribal bashing to stop i suggest you all just take ur heads out of your own azz. Anything that is tribal or regional based(as far as the indigenous peoples is concerned, primarily) should not be indulged in from the likes of someone from outside of that area. If the matter has nothing to do or doesnt relate to tribe or tribal matters and is purely national, then its free game. You tribe does not matter you eediots so chill. You can be pro- your group and not have to be anti- another group, i hope you know that. Long story short, just mind your own. |
[size=15pt]Islamic banking: Reps summon Sanusi[/size] By John Ameh Wednesday, 20 Jul 2011 The House of Representatives has summoned the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Lamido Sanusi, to clarify the relevance of the non-interest banking in the country. The House resolved in its plenary on Tuesday to seek clarification from Sanusi over ‘Islamic banking.’ He was directed to appear before the House on Thursday (tomorrow)at 10am. Sanusi is also required to brief lawmakers on the decision of the apex bank to peg daily cash withdrawal limit by individuals at N150,000 and N1million for corporate customers effective June, 2012. The House resolution on the two controversial issues followed a motion sponsored by Aliyu Yakubu, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party from Yobe State. Tuesday’s sitting was presided over by the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal. Yakubu’s original motion was restricted to the issue of cash withdrawal limits, which he said was not practicable in the current economic realities of the country. However, a former Chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency, Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi, amended the motion to include the Islamic banking policy. Ozomgbachi observed that the two policies had “provoked controversy among Nigerians and the CBN has to make explanations and clarification.” He added that Sanusi should avail the House with information on the workability of the policies to enable lawmakers to educate the electorate in their constituencies. http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art201107203412953 |
bashr4:Omagwa is in bad need of operations management. The flight overlap is too much and cause congestion and chaos. I'm sure you are aware of this. Also, it is not that big ya know. Enugu Anambra, Ebonyi are not close to Rivers, so its not as easy as that either. Enugu airport is good for Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi because of the convenience. Anambra will be blessed the most well Asaba International airport does the same. They can go either way. Abuja is for the middlebelt, but we Igbo will still accept their money in Enugu ![]() |
