This is coming from the President and PDP circle to silence us and stop Egypt like revolution from happening in 9ja. |
See mumu JTF, they think we no go school at all, even if we no go too much. They said the attacks are not an "indicative of a relapse in the counter-insurgency operation", if its not, then what is it? Sign of Boko Haram winning the war at all time?? We go school small o JTF. |
I don't know why this has not made frontpage yet. |
Jigawa Sate Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, on Tuesday said nine Peoples Democratic Party governors voted for the incumbent chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, at the June 4 election that later divided the forum. Lamido gave a specific insight into what happened during the NGF election while speaking in an interview with the Hausa Service of the Voice of America monitored in Abuja, on Tuesday Speaking specifically about the election of Ameachi as Chairman, NGF, Lamido said, "I also voted for Ameachi. Look, in the PDP, myself, the governor of Kano, the governor of Niger, the governor of Kebbi, the governor of Sokoto, the governor of Kwara, the governor of Rivers, the governor of Adamawa, nine of us PDP governors voted for him. "This election was for the NGF, not a candidate for the PDP; there is nothing to it." In a veiled reference to the consensus reached by the Northern Governor Forum to present Governor Jonah Jang as consensus candidate. He said, "For one group to come and say 'this is your leader, let's present him to the nation'. Things are not done like that. People forget easily we are all reasonable people and the PDP was founded by reasonable people." Lamido also took a swipe at the party's leadership over the suspension of Sokoto State Governor, Aliyu Wamakko. While describing the suspension of Wamakko by the Bamanga Tukur-led National Working Committee as reckless, he said leaders needed to be circumspect in taking decisions. He said, "Any reasonable politician, who has foresight, knows that doing anything that will cause trouble for party members or bring confusion, a leader should avoid it. "The suspension of Wamakko was a mistake that shows a lack of leadership. Secondly, there was recklessness because what was his offence? "The truth is Bamanga Tukur was defeated in Bauchi or was he not defeated during the zonal elections in Bauchi? He was defeated, not so? "Myself, Wamakko, the governor of Kano and others came together and said what they (North East) did was wrong, so we will not agree; let us go for an election. "The North East said its consensus candidate was Babayo. Bamanga Tukur was brought to us at the convention and we elected him, even from this, you have your answer (about the NGF election)." The word "I don't give a damn" to 160 million people is the highest lost of moral value I ever seen in my life, not to talk of lying for MEND about October 1, 2011 bombing or building church on his behalf as a bribe by an Italian contractor (just to mention a few). Good radiance to bad rubbish. |
See lecturers of schools who claim to be better than Polytechnics... ![]() They have only been better on false and fake claims. |
A presidential aide on Friday said President Goodluck Jonathan was not afraid to visit any part of the country contrary to insinuations in some quarters. Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, stated this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent. Gulak was reacting to Thursday’s visit of governors of the parties in the newly formed All Progressives Congress to Maiduguri, Borno State, where insinuations were made that leaders should be courageous to visit any part of the country. Borno State has remained the centre of activities of the fundamental Islamic sect, Boko Haram. Jonathan has not visited the state since the insurgency, which has claimed several lives, began in 2009. Vice-President Namadi Sambo was there recently. The governors said they chose Maiduguri to prove a point that “there should not be a no-go area for any Nigerian leader.” But Gulak told our correspondent that as the President of the country, Jonathan is not afraid of visiting any part of Nigeria. The presidential aide stated that to demonstrate that he is not afraid to visit the state, Jonathan would be in Maiduguri on Thursday. He said, “Who is afraid to visit Borno State? The President will be on a state visit to Borno State next week, March 7 to be precise. “The governors are just trying to pre-empt the President. Goodluck Jonathan is not afraid of visiting any part of the country. He is the President of all states and all parts of the country without exception.” - See more at: http://www.punchng.com/news/president-not-afraid-to-visit-maiduguri-aide/#sthash.0sifX5GI.dpuf ACP at work right?? |

On my last visit to USA, there was an aunty (not my family memmber, just stayed on same street with her dad in Nigeria sometime back) who accomodated me in her home throughout my stay, she offered me accomodation and feeding. Now, I will be going again to USA and will stay in her home. What is a good gift that I could buy for her or her family from here? Please note that she has 4 kids (2 girls, 2 guys). |
But I think JTF told us he was killed in a shot out with members of their team? Now, I want to believe someone is feeding us fat on lies. Na Nigeria we dey sha! |

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday surprised the authorities of the Lagos State Police Command when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Police College, Ikeja. With the President were the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Mr. Mamaah Tsafe; the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Umar Manko and other military and air force officers. Jonathan, who arrived at the college premises at about 3 pm, immediately proceeded on an inspection tour of the hostels, college kitchen, dining hall and the Officers’ Mess. For the college authorities, the visit was nothing short of an embarrassment as the commandant of the college, CP I.F. Yerima was unable to tell the President how and when Channels TV filmed the decay in the college. In an attempt to salvage the situation, Yerima had turned to his deputy and other senior officers of the college for assistance but all kept mute. Enraged, Jonathan declared the documentary by the TV station a smear campaign. He said, “This is a calculated attempt to damage the image of this government. The Police College, Ikeja is not the only training institution in Nigeria.” Meanwhile, a crowd of recruits, who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the President, hailed him repeatedly for his visit. They said, “Our number one President, the God sent President, the President of Nigeria, among others.” Jonathan acknowledged the cheers by raising his right hand. However, a senior police officer of the college told Saturday PUNCH on the condition of anonymity that the decay in the college began more than a decade ago. http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathan-pays-surprise-visit-to-ikeja-police-college/ To me, I see as the most careless statement I have ever heard from him in recent times, afterall the picture attached to the news shows that the report is true.

Now I can see that in Nigeria, the rate of educated illiterate are more than the regular illiterate (i.e. illiterate who never go to school) by simply assessing the comments of the people here. It is always good for one to do more research on your own and use your thinking faculty to arrive at a logical conclusion (as expected of an educated person) than relay on some unprofessional and shoddy media report. For those who care to know, its CPC Candidate VS another CPC Candidate which I believe was as a result of Abacha's son interference in the party activities back then. For the educated illiterate, pls get your facts straight. |
Thanks to PDp becos they have brought us above Mail and Sudan (according to Global Terror Index), who knows how far they will bring us before 2015? The statement regarding CPC is still an hypotesis until tested, but Nigeria above Mail and Sudan is a reality, tested and seen all under PDP watch. PDP should cover their face in shame |
For someone like me who is a management consultant, I know the FOI Act was not intentionally passed and not for the use of Nigerians but to get international support in terms of loan and international political support for Jonathan. If you don't know, for a country to get much loan from WB,IMF & Co, FOI Act is one of the requirement, so it was purely done in Nigeria so as to get access to more loan and for international support. If you think I lied, how many FOI order has been carried out in this GEJ administration? None! How much loan has been given to Nigeria since the passage of FOI Act? ... many |
That 1 year thing called NYSC is a waste of time for exposed people including for thos who studied abroad. However, if u must serve, influence ur posting to ur place of interest, that way you will be add value to that 1 year of ur life. If not, exposed individual usual regret taking that one year out. Why I didn't regret so much of that one year is that I influenced my service to a place I had wanted to develop my interest although I wasnt a foreign student but I am exposed to some level (as a Founder/CEO of a company right from my days in school and international traveling expenrience). As some suggested, if u plan to work or take a political job, go for it as suggested above only, if not, do better thing with ur 1 year in UK instead |
To God who made me, when I read the post of people about Buhari, I wept. Three things made me cry, one is the encomium of the Inteligent & Upright of Buhari, two is that can Nigeria be blessed again with this rare gem? third, when will Nigerians stop to be a propaganda tools for selfish politicians who dont want for us a genuie governance? Buhari u remain not just a golden icon but a platinum icon in genuie governance in Nigeria. May God bless you and keep u long and save. Happy Birthday ... No doubt, LLNP in Jesus Name. You are my hero and u will always be my hero. |
[quote author=hubreality]@poster, if you like be the newest guest in NL and from late Ojukwu's family in Igboland. You guys can go on starting multiple threads why he must become the president of Nigeria by force, remember, this is democracy, and not coup plotting. People don't want him for obvious reasons...don't ask me what reasons because people have aired it here for over 1million times. Advise him to drop the power desperation, we are not in dark ages though pdp have failed. He's not the only supposed good one in the north. [/quotye] e if buhari contesting 3 time is what u termed desperation, then history has shown/prove to us that desperate contestant are the best in terms of leadership. If u dont know, the best President USA has ever had is Abraham Lincoln who contested 10 times and failled but became USA president on 11th trial.z |
i am begining to think the govt has approved to free their memebers as i didnt hear that the govt condemned the act of freeing some detainees or taken concrete steps to question the police boss for this (correct me if i am wrong pls). |
i am begining to wonder if o.......a understand the english at all. Welfare pay wether costlier or not is Honest pay than pay for doing nothing in the name of job payment which include benefits |
Inteligent Nigerian knows that this is not in anyway special, however, he did it with the most intention of scoring a cheap score which some Nigerians will give to him (GEJ). |
I cannot blame ur friends. firstly, it could be that those girls are trying to play smart with ur friends becos my experience with Nigerian ladies are that they like multiple income stream. i.e. they may like to stick to other guys becos of what they will get. They like the sense of having a fiance who wont stop them from doing another parole. It may also be ur friends are not extending much financial support to them as expected by those ladies becos i discover recently that most Nigerian women perfer to go for a very low income earners who give them cash or spend on them unconsciously to a rich banker/man with a promising life or more conscious spending. No doubt, some typical 9ja woman will bash me, but me i no send. |
Gov. Mimiko might be right about Tinubu 8 years but one thing I don't agree with about his comment is calling Gov. Fashola of lagos "flash of Governance". I want to say if he understand governance better, he wouldn't say Gov. fashola is flash of Governance. No doubt, fashola knows the true meaning of Governance and not a flash. Take it or leave it |
What do u expect Blair to say? Blair, if you dont know Blair is on GEJ/Nigeria payroll as a consultant to GEJ. Want to know how I know? I have seen him and GEJ together on several occasions, most especially on GEJ personal activities/events like dedication of the controversial Otuoke Church (built by Gitto construction company as a gift to the president in his home town, etc). Therefore, Blair did that to justify his pay and show his loyalty to his payment master. However, Rice was brought in to the show by GEJ Consultant-Blair. Rice worked together with Blair on several occasions before and during Bush/Blair invasion of Iraq and Taliban/Al-Qeida on the pretense of weapon of mass destruction and search for terrorist in Afghanistan and so they have an existing complementary relationship About GEJ, I dont expect anything better from him than what he said because he wants to justify his actions before now and after now which may include 2015 reelection bid. |
to be honest, it requires more than common sense that most nigerians display to understand this was an acted script written & directed by arikair people to thwart omojuwa's case/campaign against them |
I so much appreciate those who contributed honestly, maturely & meaningfully. For those who do otherwise, by their fruits we shall know them, amend ur ways & get matured. More useful response pls. |
pls ur comment is needed. thabove happened to a friend |
What would u do (as a man) if ur fiance (after u have done introduction with her) tell u that she went to a prophet to pray and she was told she will be richer than her husband. Would u go ahead to marry her or dump her? Serious and mature response pls. |
onatisi: GEJ again?what has he got to do with this?nigerians very soon every accident on the road in naija we will blaming GEJ .na wah ooooNo be him tell us say nigeria situation is not bad to the extent of stopping him or Assembly lawmaker from travelling at the media chat?
