Politics › Re: Buhari Must Be Screened If He'll Be The Petroleum Minister - Senators by cococandy(f): 2:07am On Oct 06, 2015 |
And they obj and pmb both assumed positions of oil ministers bonechamberlain:

have anyone noticed that since 1999, the two military leaders we have had, obj and GMB always have a problem with the Senate, while under the two civilians yar adua and gej, they had a smooth relationship with the senate.
reason: the military always have this strong head attitude, they still have the mentality of a military head of state where they issue decrees without any Senate. under yar adua and Jonathan (two civilised leaders), they knew the Senate also has powers in a democratic system, so the respected the nass and followed them diplomatically with tact and wisdom.
until the military show respect to the Senate in a democratic system we would continue to be where we have been.
and also until Nigerians remove the mentality of "strong man" during elections this military returnees would continue to come back in every election .
as for buhari facing screening, I am speechless |

Truckpusher: They are all ills of the society , so you tell me ; on what platform are you calling one a lesser evil? Truckpusher they can't be in the same league in any society. One is a crime. One is not. And child molestation is not even a crime like stealing. It is worse. It's rape of the worst kind. The one where you rape the person that trusted you to protect them. Your own child. Nna I can't believe we are having this conversation. |

Following boss home to cook for him? No no no no. That's a no no. That relationship is not defined at all. Tallesty1: I completely agree with you that the two are not the same and to an extent, not comparable but the focus here is the respect and submission being accord to them.
It is undeniable that some women do step out of their line of duty just to please their boss, I can still remember the case of a woman who followed her boss home to cook for him(because his wife travelled)without her husband's consent.
If they can go extra mile just to keep their job then why can't they go @ least half a mile to keep their man happy?.
I am sorry if I am asking too many questions. |

Boss is boss. No comparison between them and husbands. One is intimate one is not.
Pastors and husbands. Yet again one is a spiritual leader and one is a life partner. Also Two different things. No comparison there too.
it is quite correct that all should be respected. But the relationships aren't the same. While I may be prim and proper for the boss or pastor and full of 'yes sirs', I can't be like that with a husband. We have an informal relationship.
But I do detest people that worship their pastors. That's a whole new level I see people go to in the name of respecting their pastors. It disgusts me because it's often easy to see how such worship can be turned into a tool of manipulation by the so called pastor.
So respect but not idolize.
OP remove boss from your list. Apart from work, where else will the boss come into a woman's life? And yes at work, he's the boss. The husband should wait until she gets home before he expects her to do what he wants over what the boss wants. That's one unnecessary power tussle unless the boss or hubby is not reasonable.
Quite different from pastors. Those ones have no boundaries. Some of them even want you to consult them before making your life or family decisions even though you have a husband who's meant to be doing such with you and not them.
They specialize in Seeing unsolicited visions and tearing couples apart. Permit me to say many of them are quite useless. |

Mindfulness: Sorry? Stigma? Evident? Where? In the West or in Africa?
One of my dearest mentors, a natural scientist, who retired two years ago, said that his profession didn't make him believe less in a supreme form of intelligence but the more. The more he understood how beautifully and perfectly designed the universe is, the deeper his faith became. This man lives in a country where atheism is en vogue. This is an isolated case but there are plenty of scientists who share his view and those who don't, definitely don't hide them due to some imaginary stigma.

Which one is pleasant surprise? On top this annoying thread? In fact this whole politics section is irritating to say the least. My point is whether the culprit is who he claims to be or not or if he's even the culprit at all, you and omenka and co expect Igbos to come pat him on the back because? Because they claim to be ready for any fight whenever wherever? How does that relate to terrorist attacks? Does that even make sense to you? Seriously any right thinking person will denounce such links to the Igbo tribe and that's not cowardice because when we claim to be ready for any attacks, we didn't claim to be ready to bomb innocent people in their businesses and homes. That's far from whatever we stand for in any marginal way. So I'm surprised that of all the arguments you could think to make, you chose to taunt people for doing the sensible thing. StOla: Cococandy, what a pleasant surprise, it's been a while.
On the topic, it has been proven here that the boy is a loyal Biafran with many Biafran followers.
You and I know that many advocates of Biafra have threatened to carryout measures to bring about a hate for Igbos nationwide, such that their stubborn brothers return home. So the string of accusations coming your way were caused by your own selves.
Please why should our brave Chima Okoro delete his Biafran profile that he has used to religiously dish out Biafran propaganda?
Why are our chestbeating Biafran warlords trying so hard to deny this hardworking Biafran youth?
They are not even arguing about the coincidence of his projections anymore, they are flatly denying his Biafran identity when his history shows he's been a dedicated listener of the transistor radio.
Please talk some sense into your kinsmen, war is distasteful, and you cannot opine that those who are looking in the Biafran direction are mischievous when we are all aware of the empty boasts promising anarchy for some months now.
Even on the very posts about the bombings, many Biafrans made and liked posts that suggested they were the ones behind the bombings.
So who is fooling who, and why has bravery suddenly turn to cowardly claims that your usual Yoruba enemies are to blame for your own threats of violence all this while.
I am open to a full investigation of this matter.
Chima Okoro must be apprehended. |

You people are so desperate. Tufiakwa. Pathetic things.
Pls where's your almighty buhari to come and finish them off with his body language? Nowhere to be seen.
So if Igbos claim to have firepower for whatever reason they have it for, it means they should accept responsibility for a bomb blast they didn't mastermind just to show unnecessary braggadacio?
Only fools and cowards do terrorist attacks. If it's a full face to face no hiding war, then you can call Igbos cowards when they refuse to fight.
But for now, keep your desperation at bay. It's pitiable and sickening.

I can't believe it too. Some will be adviced by the family 'elders' to keep it under wraps to avoid scandal. Ihe ojoo. biafranqueen: Wow but it took her daughters being molested and several house help it is unbelievable. One sick bastard posted pictures of my daughter talking about your husband is raping your daughter on N/L the way he kept saying it you can tell he saw it happen in his own family and will probable continue the abuse. The frequency is too much if they are exposing one a day means thousands are happening daily. It means it is part of the lifestyle. Great job chilli Yea quantity of water matters. Too small or too much will either make it too hard or not nicely shaped respectively. Chillisauce: my akara ready
No krokro, very smooth and soft.
I got it right this time .
After blending, it has to do with the quantity of water used and I also used the cake mixer. Got air in it for the softness and it held the akara together. The mixer replaces the job of morter and pestle. Voilà. Akara
