My dear find a new hobby and go out some more.-
As you said the feelings get worse when you're in your room by yourself. And idle mind is not a good harvest ground.
If you go out and meet new people more often, it can be quite entertaining and distracting from your daily worries.

Search your heart. You know what really bothers you. Not the bokoharam or everyday accidents ish.
There must be something deeper than that. Unless you lost a loved a one to any of those incidents.

If you do find out what it this that's putting this cloud over your life, you can then face your fear and conquer. It's never easy. And praying won't solve it for you if you make no efforts of your own. I do know praying helps keep one calm but you will still need to face your problems head on. Only then will it go away.

Find someone you can talk to if you're not comfortable sharing the intimate details of what's going on on nairaland. Someone you can trust. Don't underestimate how much having someone you can share emotional problems with can help.

Men, in my quest to eat healthily, I seem to be going down the oriental path.

I don't remember the full name of this stuff, except that it's called something...something...Chicken Ramen. With seasame seeds, sweet corn, cucumber, marinated / seasoned egg, bamboo, noodles, spring onions and some other stuff. Smells good though.

Oh, and there's chicken broth in the cup. /Is that healthy?? But then again, these people dey live up to 120 years...) I'm meant to pour all that in the bowl to form some kind of soup. But I'm supposed to eat this with chopsticks??
