Iamsynord:
.This is happening to a close Person to me.

Her Fiancee is insisting He doesn't want to marry any lady whose parents are still alive. This he attributed to the problem his dad faced in the hands of his mum's parent and so on and so forth. He is however not against relatives only parents.

Now the guy is Rich, handsome and everything a woman will wish for in a man except this his one rule

.The lady and her parents have liased that she would reveal that they are dead and she would get married to him .Subsequently after d marriage they would reveal their existence and they are laying their hope on the fact that if he truly loves her,he would understand and accept the reality.

However the lady is doubtful of the plan as it may backfire and she doesn't want to lose him after two failed relationship and besides age is not on her side as she is clocking 33 this year .

Matured Advice pls ??

@bold, you didn't think of this story well before you forged it.
What kind of sane parents will play dead so that a meanie (who wished them dead to start with) will marry their daughter?

Lol. Let me believe my eyes saw wrong.

Ok.

Women don't battle with sexual temptations? Laughable. How would you know since you're not a woman? Never mind. I don't want to take the thread a different place.

5minsmadness:
Hehehe.
This my moniker seems to be getting me in trouble these days, or I'm being mysteriously associated with someone else.

I have NEVER been an advocate of "all men cheat". I have never held that notion. You must be mistaking me with someone else.

For those guys who propagate the tale that All men cheat it's pretty obvious what thier motive is. They say this to give them a kind of 'hall pass' on cheating. They use it to shirk responsibility and self control for thier actions. It's true that the male libido is much higher than the female bit that doesn't mean the men don't have control over it. We battle with sexual temptations from the day we hit puberty till the day we croak. (One more reason why I feel men are more superior to women which is what you should be attacking me for grin).

So. No. Not all men cheat. The phrase is false.

5minsmadness:
I think women that say all men cheat are either inexperienced, young or have had a really bad go in relationships. Most of the ladies just chant it as a mantra cos they have heard about it on social media or cos they have seen one or two very bad relationships and then begin a massive generalization.

Then again really, how many men have u been thru to conclude that all men cheat? Doesn't that speak volumes about your own relationship life?
Mmm interesting.
What about the men who belong to the 'all men cheat' crew? They are the ones I find more interesting because you can't be bandying such phrases around and expect the ladies not to believe that all men don't cheat.
Last I checked many guys on this forum belong to that sect (even you. Don't make me go looking for posts pls). I even surprisingly find myself sometimes defending the male folk while they are busy tearing their own image down by endorsing all shades of cheating and making excuses for guys who cheat.

So what have you to say for yourself? Does having such opinions speak volumes about the guys' own relationship patterns?
Family › Re: Lusting After My Husband's Cousin by cococandy(f): 9:37am On Jun 18, 2015
Acidosis:
Can you post such whilst retaining your fine dp?

@op, I know you must have received lots of pms; kindly scrutinize and select your preference. Some guys would readily make you happy.
What I can or can't do should not be the yardstick for judging others.

Besides it would be very different if the reason someone told her to take down her picture is for privacy's sake (saw one or two of that)
That makes more sense than insinuating she put her pics up to attract men for sex. Really? And the second and subsequent ***** who followed on to continue yapping the nonsense didn't stop to think about how silly it sounded?

Because some people will leave the topic on ground and start prowling the poster's profile doesn't mean everyone is twisted like them. They should at least know that.

They just wanted to help you. That was nice of them. Enjoy the kindness and stop fretting.
What are you worried about?

Anyway I hope you don't get too used to it and start expecting your own wife when you get married to wash your brothers cloths.
Holatunde007:
I washing my cloth when my brother wife pay a visit to us, thou that's the 1st tym she will meet me washing, Immediately she drop her bag and deep her hand inside the water to start washing, I tried all my possible best to stop her yet she won't allow me, I was confused she's not a new wife she's married to my brother over 3yrs now, and she's educated and older than me.
I notice same with my 2nd brother wife, thou am a little bit older than her, she will always pack my clothes whenever she visit I watch before I notice, and I don't always feel comfortable, especially with my boxers and trousers.
So I want to ask if its right for the two wife in question to do my laundry, incase if such situation occurred again.

So because she posted a personal story and has a picture on her profile means she's looking for sex on nairaland?

Let's say I believe you.
Of all the people you could discuss your sexual problems with, you chose his cousin?
Why not someone who doesn't know him
Someone neutral?

Do you know how embarrassed he will feel when he finds out his cousin knows all the sexual details of your marriage?

Anyway try to stay away from him.
After all is said and done, he's not worth it.

Some people and adding fuel to smoking embers cheesy

Finally read through all the pages.

I must say this thread is resilient.
Unlike some others, it hasn't derailed into catfights.

Some people that get off when others fight are itching to have it go there.
See an incidence of misunderstanding or offended posters and cash in to make sure the parties misunderstanding each other don't resolve it amicably.

(Psychology of pitch them against each other.)

Now this is a snide comment.
If you know you're guilty, it's meant for you.

When i talk about feminists my true opinion about it is that i don't see any here. That's just me and i was not even referring to Nairaland alone but Nigeria as a whole,as you can see i was referring to Freecoco post.

It's like someone saying married women are cheats, why should i feel offended when i am not?And suddenly it was no longer about marital rape but about feminists?really? Is what the topic is all about?
Ok let me pause before I start speaking someone else's mind abeg I'll leave her to say what she means when she comes.

On the matter, you're not the first person who has said stuff about people showing feminism online as not being serious. Well I totally agree with her that online is as good as anywhere and that's why that comment plus many others like it is funny.

Of course you just made the comment without direct reference to any online feminist around here and probably no intention of deriding anyone's feminism or whatever they chose to call it.
But someone could still chose to see it as snide:

And definitely (even if she denies it) your comment led her to type hers which addresses not just your post but also the others who have said such before.(about online feminists not being serious)

As long as she wasn't abusive, what's snide about it?
Calling it snide is as UNFAIR as someone telling you your other post was a snide remark about feminists who are posting here 'online'

I was actually skipping posts and liked that her post but after you said something about snide comments, I had to go back and read through to understand which comment led to which.

I don't think there's anything offensive about that post and I would have moved on except that I liked and cosigned the post. So was wondering where you saw the snideness. Her original post or my consigning one.

It's always better to clear the air than let it fester.

What was the thread about again?
Good question.
I've even forgotten.

Ok Nigerian wife beaters.

Frecocoa thanks for being real. smiley
Not that it's my business but I don't think her comment was a snide one. (At least to me)

if everything like that is regarded as snide, maybe any person who professes feminism online is also correct if they saw your first own post as snide.

You don't know how many months the man is owing and you described him in your first post a wickedman?my sister if your conscience is still intact, you would have buried your head in shame, for your attempt to mislead unsuspecting nairalanders. You are confirmed mischief maker, and an irresponsible Lady who should not be taking seriously. What have you gained so far for selling your soul to the devil?Don't dare quote me,because if you do,i will teach you a very bitter lesson.
What have I gained by selling my soul to the devil? Mmm let's see, the worker's salaries may eventually be paid if I lend my voice to those who are already exposing his act of wickedness?

But What have you gained from selling your soul to Rochas. Let me guess. A pail of rice and 1liter of vegetable oil?

I saw this on YouTube and thought it was nice enough to share.

The Internet is a good place to influence public opinions.
Instead of supporting all the schools-of-thought that damage the image of the black man, you can change it by dumping ridiculous mentality that doesn't benefit us and of course showing your good sides too.

Don't let all the focus be on the wrong things all the time.
