I think she also knew that he was aware. long before she told him. Her telling him over the phone was more like a formality.

I believe the best thing she should have done was to have the conversation with him. Look we both know you’re not the biological father of the child but we can still be married and you be a real life father to this child. And that could have been between them instead of her making it so public like that.
As long as she didn’t tell anyone else, something tells me he would have been okay with the arrangement.

Some men take infertility and impotence as the end of the world that it shouldn’t be. Especially if it’s public knowledge.

That man is the wicked one! That's how they lie against God and make a mockery of spirituality.

He couldn't go and get tested, wasn't sleeping with his wife but supported her through pregnancy?! Is he Joseph? Or she's Mary?? Nonsense!!

He was more concerned about what people thought of him, his 'Man of God' status and the answer to his prayers.

He knew he was sick, he knew God hadn't answered his prayers, he knew she cheated but he would have gone with it anyway.

His reason for the suicide wasn't because the child wasn't his, it was because everyone else now knew that God hadn't answered him.

12 years.. A whole 12 years of marriage, she just ended it with a freaking phone call.. as if it was 12days.. That's the height of disregard/ disrespect of the highest order. When she got pregnant, she should have disappeared at that point knowing that the baby can't possibly be his... And he stood by her all through the pregnancy to birth..

No matter what the man has done, he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. I wish he visited a therapist for this instead of taking his life .

If abortion is not an option for you guys, encourage her to make the best of the situation and go straight to nexplanon when the baby is born.
Renew every two years and never worry about unplanned pregnancy. There are side effects (just as with all of them) but if you guys don’t do something definite about it, it will happen again.

Pregnancy is a natural result of unprotected sex.
You could get a vasectomy as well.

“We stayed together as husband and wife for 12 years without a child. I did everything humanly possible for us to go to the hospital but he refused, and his only excuse was that God would bring a child at the appropriate time.

So he refused to go to the hospital with her for years and then he wasn’t having sex with her at the time frame that she got pregnant?
It seems like he already knew the truth but just wanted to carry in like nothing was happening.

Which begs the question why he hurt himself over something he already knew

Women are finer vessel. so if they behave badly, it’s terrible.

Men aren’t fine vessels like women: so it’s not a big deal when they cheat or behave poorly.

All it does is create an environment such that they don’t flinch when they cheat on you (that’s the bad treatment I’m talking about) because they are not required to be a fine vessel like you. But if you do, it’s terrible because you’re a finer vessel and aren’t supposed to behave that way.

It doesn’t protect you or your wellbeing or how you actually feel about such things. It just tells you to accept this or that because it’s the popular perception. But you know who’s interest that ‘harmless compliment’ is protecting? grin

Wouldn’t it be nice if we were all fine vessels and don’t taint ourselves? Lol

You stay safe too. Wash your hands and try not to touch your face. wink

I sent some money to someone on this forum who said he’s a widower too.
It’s not the same name and that person was able to show me identification to show that he’s who he said he is.

But it’s eerie that their stories are the same.
And it was also weird that the account number he provided was not the same as his name although he had an acceptable excuse for that.

Now it’s all making me wonder.

However, I don’t regret a thing. I only give what I can afford to lose . Also, I don’t expect small assistance to make someone not need money anymore. But if you see them all the time making same request over and over again, then it means they are making a career out of it and that’s not fair to the givers who are sacrificing what they have to help others.
