nobody said he landed head-first . He sustained head injury. That’s possible (almost unavoidable) no matter how you land

Yeah Nescafe..
How much coffee did you drink before you moved out of Nigeria?
We are more of tea people my dear..
tea like Lipton tea? That was the most popular kind of tea in naija I know of and it wasn’t even that popular

A Nescafé person will like Starbucks

The woman in question is a friend. I have no interest in her but due to frustration my mind is wondering.
you don’t need friends like her. You’re a mature man I presume. Do you really think that ‘friend’ means well for your marriage? What would you think of a male ‘friend’ of your wife who keeps pressuring her for sex? You know what you would think. Treat your wife how you would like her to treat you. That includes no useless friends.

I know my wife very well. We’ve had quarrels in the past for months due to some comments I’ve made about her. When she gets in her mode, the house will be become haunted almost like I’m living with a stranger. After our child she has been behaving very conscious about herself.
Are you fond of making comments that affect her self esteem? How many comments have you made? maybe that’s why she has been self conscious.
Another thing is that some things can’t be changed. If the comments you made were about things she can’t change, then she’s probably depressed from thinking she’s no longer good enough and that there’s nothing she can do to change it, So she withdraws.

It doesn’t really help to complain about things that can’t be changed. For better or worse literally applies to this situation. Promising to stand by your spouse if they become poor, sick or no longer beautiful/handsome/sexy whatever.

Not the way some people understand it to mean standing by someone who wants to kill you with violence and STDs. This here is the definition of ‘for worse’. if it can’t be changed, you have to learn to live with it

I constantly try to praise her but it goes through one ear and out the other. That’s why I’ve been hesitant to tell her about this, as I know it’s a sensitive topic and I will not have peace. All I want is peace and if I can find a way to resolve this along with maintaining my peace I will be a happy man.
Maybe she doesn’t believe the praises are genuine, especially if you have said the opposite in the past before. But keep striving for peace that’s a good goal. Eventually you will have to tell her about it if you want it resolved

They might not have Chanel there. so I’m sorry for giving you the wrong comparison. If you have used MAC, then know it’s somewhat better than Mac In my opinion. It lets your skin breathe more easily than Mac does and is less prone to caking.
The coverage is medium to full (it’s buildable) and the finish is matte but not drying.

Yea give it a try. You will love it

20k is really not bad considering they have to ship and all that. (Lol I’m an enabler) but you only have one life and I’m here to enjoy mine grin

If you have any more questions about ANY beauty products, I’m your girl. Ask away. Have a great day.

P.S we also have to pay extra 10% taxes on any purchases here so that adds up. The price is almost the same. So go get it cheesy
pocohantas:
I've never seen the Chanel though, it is not common here I suppose. Is it full/medium coverage? And how is its finish?

Yea, 40shades! That's a lot.
It retails for about N20,000 here, I want to be sure of what I am getting into. That's a lot of money in this Buhari's regime cheesy

LOL, I didn't sense any bias sha, but since you say it's good, I will give it a try. Thanks a lot.

I have emailed you..
Finally imagine how your wife will feel if she sees this thread. You saying how a girl is asking you for sex. How did you advance to that stage of conversation with another woman? You’re already emotionally cheating on her. Just think about it and don’t do anything that will ruin your marriage. Wish you guys the best.

Nigerian real life where almost everyone has a house boy/girl..... you mean to say that a gainfully employed wifey would be cooking and cleaning, or as you say "taking care of a home", after a long day at the office?! in what way exactly, if not by watching telenovelas while directing the housegirl/maid to cook and clean?!
You’re out of touch with women’s reality in Nigeria. How can we have a discussion?. Have a blessed day sir

MrBrownJay1:
kai sista, even you? so you mean to say that a huisband who brings home the cheddar will die and nobody will notice?! and who will pay the bills? can wifey get a well paid job after years of sitting on her behind watching telenovelas?

as much as wifey takes care of her duty in making sure the home is in order, hubby is PAYING for everything else (aka food, clothing, roof over the family head, car, security etc).... without hubby, that woman's life become a big fat ZERO.

widowers have to get remarried because they HAVE A JOB to do outside and dont have the time nor resources to be cleaning and cooking etc, while a woman would ALSO have to remarry because she would have NO RESOURCES to pay the bills, buy food for the family etc.... unless she can find a well paid job with her very important "PHD in telenovela watching"
Yea that’s only in Nigerian movies.

In Nigeria real life, MOST women have to work and support the home as much as the husband in addition to doing everything else

As I said, my wife is very very sensitive. I’ve said some truthful things to her in the past, till now she brings it up. I know if I tell her directly I will not get peace for the next month, that’s why I’m trying to find my way around it.
who’s the girl disturbing you? How did she get close enough to you ask you for sex?

Your wife may be the one who now has a wide vagina for giving birth to your child ( I guess that’s her sin) but you will be the one to ruin your own marriage for inviting people who do not belong in it into it.

You haven’t even talked to her but you’re here telling us she is sensitive bla bla bla

So do you not want to talk to her about it? Or you’re just looking for people to tell you to go ahead and cheat? she must have done something wrong to you for having your child the way you’re going about it. Your tone sounds like you’re not really interested in or believe in a solution that doesn’t involve another woman’s vaginà

people will pay.. There are classy restaurants where people pay so much. As a middle class citizen, I even paid as high as 2500naira for just a plate of rice at an exotic restaurant.

So dont think about the negative please...why not give it a try, I can be the manager. I have wide experience in customer service. Trust me
Probably. But you know that food and coffee aren't the same thing . You’re right though negativity isn’t the best.

Not a bad idea but I’m not interested in owing one.

I just want someone to open one so I can have Starbucks when I visit so I don’t go into withdrawal grin

you can partner with Starbucks in building a branch here in Nigeria by managing it
I would if I lived in Nigeria. For now it’s not even feasible to think of having one and managing from abroad. But come to think about it, would many Nigerians pay #1,000 or more for a cup of coffee (basic ones o)? It would definitely cost more if it’s a fancy flavored.

I wish they had one at home because I live on Starbucks on my busy days but I’m not sure if I want to be the person who owns it. There might not be profit in it for them.

This OP made a lot of sense in his post. I don’t agree with everything 100% but he has a lot that young boys especially these NL boys could learn from. But they are busy calling him a woman to read and learn.

So what if he’s a woman? Does that negate the points in his post? Exactly. You’re proving him right by insinuating that the post is not worth anything because you think it was written by a woman. Who thinks like that except people who really need to educated themselves?

ImaIma1:
It is indeed a looong post.

To be fair, despite the fact that we have men who are not worthy to be called "men" save for their gender, we still have some that are men in all intents and purposes.

The bad eggs have a way of nullifying the good ones but there are still men that take responsibility and take charge of a situation, family, etc.

There are the ones that cannot see past women being "oloshos" but they will also grow up and be responsible men. If they don't learn on their own, life will teach them the hard way.

that's also the reason no one here feels the girl is too young cos we've seen women of almost every age raise children, nigerian women are not allowed to be lazy or weak cos someone has to get sh!t done
Girls are forced to grow up too quickly because they will be mothers and build the home bla bla bla but boys will be boys undecided
Family › Re: Nigerian Men Dont Know How To Be Men!! by cococandy(f): 3:11pm On Jul 30, 2018
yet if mommy stops her contributions, the house will scatter, but daddy could die and no one will notice any difference in schedule cos he doesnt do sh!t, yet ppl call him the head so most ppl honestly believe what makes a man the head is merely being a man.
This here. Truer words have never been spoken

Again it doesn’t apply to everyone. But it applies to enough people that it matters.

Please can I get an unbiased review of the Fenty Beauty?
Is it worth the hype? I know I saw a picture of you with one cheesy.
It’s really good. I still use it.

it’s not the best foundation ever but it’s up there among the really really good ones if you’re looking to buy. I would compare it to Chanel vitalumiére foundation. It’s $45 and chanel is $60, so it’s already a better deal for me. It has more color range so you’re likely to find your match easily. But it doesn’t come infused with sunscreen while the Chanel one does. This is just a comparison to give you an idea.

I bought it because I’ve always love Rihanna and I wanted to support her brand. So I might be a little biased grin
