Proud ex City boy, i have been lucky to attend both public and a private schools tongue and I understand the envy of our brothers from 20k schools. The truth is lead city gives you access to a lot of textbooks and learning material which are still useful to me years after graduation. And most of the best lectures in public institutions come to lecture in private university (and they dear not behave recklessly with students as it is obtained in government schools). Another major difference is the quality control department, that monitors the standards of education and teaching services in private schools to give you your money worth of values
Don't bother educating children of hate who are determined not to be educated.

They think they will suppress the truth forever.

They should come and try it in a Federal University.

First Class in a Private University is equivalent to 2.2 in a State University and 3rd class in a Federal University
OkaNaUbe:
Loose grading system. How many can make first class on a 5point grading system?

I don't trust results from private schools and universities in Nigeria. The lecturers tend to award undeserving grades to their students so as to promote the school's image. They are more like 'special centres'.

Put these so called first class graduates in a competition with their peers from government universities and they can't defend themselves.

Crime › Another Fatal Shooting In US Leaves Dozen Dead. by CodeTemplar(op): 3:02pm On Nov 08, 2018
Twelve dead as trenchcoat-wearing masked gunman, 29, storms student night at Californian country bar: Suspect kills himself after hurling smoke grenades onto dance floor and killing a cop

- The shooter opened fire at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, Southern California, at 11.20pm
- The man was dressed in all-black and let off at least 30 shots from a pistol with extended mags
The shooter, who has not yet been identified, also let off smoke grenades to confuse the terrified crowds
- He killed himself after killing 11 people inside the bar and a sheriff's sergeant who responded to the scene
- There were around 100 people inside the bar, including some who were under 21, who were there to dance
- The College Country Night is a regular fixture and youngsters from nearby colleges can go and stamp black X's on their hands to mark that they won't drink
- Some of those inside were students at Pepperdine University and others are thought to have gone to California Lutheran University - both are Christian schools.

Reference to what is chasing development away
But I didn't lie now. Some people wake up and start saying their religion permits them to kill those who don't share their beliefs and actually look for any small chance to do just that. Now it is driving development from one of the most developed northern states.

How can any Muslim say because I haven't been convinced about his beliefs I should die? Was he born with the belief in his head? No he accepted it just like he want me to, so why tag a potential convert as infidel or kill a potential Muslim?
It is crazy but happening. That's a fact.

While this is a ego boosting news for people associated with that school, it doesn't translate to automatic positive impact for the society.

Most of these men passed the test of learning bit failed the ultimate test of character and morals over their lifetime.

Most of them couldn't change themselves positively ( cultism ) let alone the society. So let's not confuse that with positive change.
Politics › Re: Is Democracy Good For Nigeria? by CodeTemplar: 10:26am On Nov 08, 2018
No nation at war develops. We are in a cold tribal war.
The northern tribes lead buy Fulani are fighting an economic war against those with resources. No nation ever develops infrastructures during war, they can only develop weapons of mass destruction and that's what Nigeria is doing.

This explains why the military is dominated by a group of people but when army BH casualty is being counted another group liiely gets higher share. It is a form of cold war.

In case you are wondering what are these weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) are, they are policies, unions, laws, religious interpretation.

Think about federal character principle, sharia, BH, pigb, the lack of federal character principle in key sectors like defence and law arm. These are the tools of a cold war.
Think about the increased in Jamb levy that's dominated by one region and the subsidy of school lunch dominated by another region ( secret wealth transfer ). Think Mr OP. We are in a cold war and no nation in war ever develops.

Pathetic. Nigeria is under a spell. Civilization starts and ends with fine faces and fake accents, no civil manners in this country.
