What reason can you give to call them olosho?
When a woman shows you a picture of her backside, what is she telling you? Seduction. Simple! |
Dear Sarrki, tell us the truth; would Buhari sincerely agree or support females showing their backsides? This is wrong and to me they are more of Oloshos than anything else Bro. |
Guy, this babe no like you at all; she see you as a means to achieve her goals. If you say you wan bang her before you leave her, she might have her own plans too (claim rape, organise cult boys, SARS or Police for you etc). Even in business, the are losses; in this BUSINESS accept your loss and move on. Cut her off totally from your life, ignore her, delete her number and warn her sternly never to come near you ever again. She is a future runs girl or she doesn't love you at all. She might try to get back through cajoling, crying, begging, using your friends or threatening you. Don't bulge, stand your ground! God Bless. |
It's surprising that few people read this page, but if na any of these funny irresponsible threads it will gain maximum followership/readership. God Bless you ClintonNzedimma. |
She has someone else and is finding it hard to tell you because she was at a crossroad. She has made her choice, don't blame her; however it's best if you meet her one on one and talk it out to be clear. I had a childhood love so I know how it feels. All the same I wish you well; Jump Master. |
NwaAmaikpe:Back to Sender. |
LoveMachine:Hello LoveMachine, thanks for suggesting the book *The Destruction of Black Civilization by Chancellor Williams*. God Bless you. I've always had this feeling that there's something about Blacks People, hopefully, this book will open my eyes. I'm still reading right now (it's 401 pages). Thank you once again. |
horsepower101:Dear Brother, I am speaking reality. |
Why can't we just stop the hating? Let the past stay where it belongs THE PAST. The future is brighter if we can leave all that AWO did this, OJUKWU did that, BUHARI is this mentality. Nigeria won't disintegrate (the America/England won't allow it), confederation might occur (50% chance) but Naija won't disintegrate, just observe the Geo-Political and Economic trends. About that fraud Kanu, I warned but of course no one listened. He used the mistakes of the past to fuel his propaganda, likewise the 97% and 5% "mistalk" President Buhari made. The President is being misled on some issues truly, and he is a good man but the acts of Kanu really pushed things over the edge. Imagine him insulting the president of a country (about twice his age), insulting other tribes and calling them unprintable names, calling for war etc. Is that the trait of a leader? Is that how positive Social Engineering is attained? After all the noise he made, where is he now? Hiding somewhere. I don't support violence, even the North sorry to say is reaping the effects of violence and blood letting. Let us learn to treat people right and fair irrespective of ethnicity or religion and teach our children same too. God Bless us all! |
I have lived in Yorubaland and experienced their loving hospitality, likewise in the North to witness their beautiful variety and I am Igbo. However, I am saddened to observe the seeming implosion that is waiting to happen in our country due to hate we now have for each other arising from Tribal and Ethnic sentiments. When free in the office, I log on to Nairaland only to see terrible e-fights going on based on these debilitating lines. Never forget "Hate in your heart consumes you too", likewise "An eye for an eye makes the world go blind" and "What you cook today is what you will eat tomorrow". We are setting a dangerous precedent for ourselves but we don't know it yet, I am sorry to say but we are slowly, unknowingly moving towards genocide but our dangerous emotions will not let us. I have encountered terrible opposites of what the South West and the North used to be and I can only tell you do not throw away the baby with the bath water. There are indeed bad Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas but then are they ALL bad? Separate the good from the bad and then continue with the good ones. Treat people right irrespective of their tribe/religion and be fair in judging issues. God Bless us all! |
My good friend Solomon is dead. Highly committed to the cause and a star anywhere he went. Rest in Peace my dear gallant friend and leader, you will not be forgotten, EVER! |
@Op and everyone here, a very gd afternoon. I have been following this thread from Pg 1 till now and I don't think it will end anytime soon. For the experienced and those who know pls explain these for me: While sleeping, I heard someone talk to me. The voice was sweet, smooth and clear. It was as if he bent down to my ears and spoke. Secondly, I heard a windy voice another time talking to me. The third and most wonderful: I heard a singing Choir in my dream. Oh God! If you hear the music, the voices; no one compares to them. This world's best is comparatively distant from theirs. I tried remembering the song when I woke up but for where? Couldn't even remember a note. These happened about a month ago in separate instances and they got me thinking. What's happening? Pls those who know should help out. Thank You |
A group of soldiers went on an attack and on their way back, it had gotten late; so they informed by radio the overall Commander Maj Gen Ahmed Mohammed (GOC 7 Div) that it was getting late and there was a friendly village nearby where the troops could sleep over before getting to their HQ the next morning. A request which the GOC refused to, even after explanations that it was not safe to move in the dark; reluctantly, they moved and that was how some moved to their death. If they had refused that order, they would have been alive but would face a court martial for refusing a direct order, but they moved because of 'obey the last order' mentality. The soldiers knew about the request to sleep over and the observation raised that it wasn't safe to keep moving that night, and so before the GOC arrived to console them they were very unhappy. The GOC's arrival coincided with the arrival of the corpses of their colleagues, take note that the soldiers were already complaining about the quality of weapons they had been using before then; poor welfare, low feeding standard and unexplained deduction of their allowances coupled with the harsh environment of Maiduguri (a land of extreme heat). There was a pent up anger and frustration already and the unneeded death of the soldiers was what made them lose it, also; the soldiers did not want to kill the GOC because if they wanted to do, they would have done it and run away. It would have been premeditated and well executed, they were actually protesting and shot to drive home their grievances (NOW THAT IS WRONG!) but would you blame them? When the Senior Commanders purposely sabotage the soldiers? Call them ATM machine? (BECAUSE THEY DIVERT THE DEAD SOLDIERS ALLOWANCES AND SHORT PAY THE LIVING!). However the Ogas @ d top don't want this to ever happen again and so use using firing squad as a deterrent. But then fellow Nairalanders, tell me when does a man react - and violently at that? Isn't it when pushed to the wall? if the soldiers are paid their full allowances, fed well and given good weapons to work with (THIS HAS BEEN DONE) plus the saboteurs (like the former GOC 7 Div) eliminated/removed you would never hear anything bad from them. The soldiers despite strict military law are humans too and have emotions, they are not Zombies. Personally, they should be pardoned and paid off (MANY WILL DISAGREE I KNOW). Fellow nairalanders, this is the fact of the matter. |
If only defence budgets were not being embezzled in the past (so much that it became a culture), Boko Haram would have been matched bullet for bullet, gun for gun and bomb for bomb plus even more than they'd expect. It took the boko pigs and the untimely death of several promising soldiers and officers for the army leadership to wake up. The Nigerian Army of ECOMOG days is still as strong and resilient as ever but some Generals are making the guys to lose faith in the system hence desertion and mutiny. God Bless our military and the Oga Generals @ d top reconsider the mutinous soldiers (NA UNA CAUSE AM)! |
If only the authorities can investigate the root cause of their mutiny, but will they? No! Why? Because it will open an overwhelming canker worm of corruption and tribal/ethnic/religious bigotry. |
Dear Afroconnect, if only you were CONNECTED to the reality of the circumstances which led to their action in Maiduguri, you won't make the comments you made earlier. Just too bad. |
A primary source of worker's efficiency is motivation; are the soldiers being well motivated? Of course NO. They earn pittance allowances (N1,000 a day in Internal Security Operations which sometimes or never gets to them as it is hijacked from the top), recruitment of stark illiterates (but they have improved now sha!), a 'don't talk' policy which makes the public to be completely unaware of what's happening inside, intimidation of juniors by seniors (both officers and soldiers), ethnic and religious sentiment (hatred), as already said lack of up to date or serviceable weapons/equipment despite the billions allocated from annual budget and most importantly: The what I can gain mentality in most Nigerian Army leaders; no one wants to be labelled 'DULL' and so there's a competition to HAMMER. How can a professional organization progress in this kind of situation? |
Bro, keep em coming. I'm enjoying it! |
Guy, na to help straf am na! Abi u go marry dis kain babe? |

Lucky Me! The Great Siena made a post on my thread. Sir, I respect you and your likes - Ikenna, CarDoctor etc for the wonderful job you are doing on Nairaland. Please keep up the good work; I am a novice in this car thing and was only trying to sample info from those who know better before making a decision. Oga Siena, JUO, Sultaan, Burger01 thank you so much for your input. God Bless and of course Merry Christmas! |
State Sen. Debbie Smith said she was at Renown for an appointment and was trying to leave a nearby building when the shooting occurred.Police SWAT Team stopped a state Senator from leaving and she complied, tell that to a Nigerian top shot and you will words like "Do you know who I am?" Wish our leaders can be this matured. My condolences to the bereaved. |
My Brother, it's a mind thing abeg. Think positively and raise your girls well, you won't regret it. |
@JUO, You are correct. I'll have to accept the car as it is, but I must confess; she is one powerful baby and fast too! |
My dear Op, you may argue with me but the following are clear: 1. You are tribalistic. 2. You believe your culture is superior to all others. 3. You are using emotion and not reason. 4. You want everyone to follow your wrong generalization (though myopic and very shallow). I want you go through all your posts without bias or ask an insignificant other, he/she will prove the authenticity of my observations. |
Good Morning House, please I have a Volkswagen Sharan VR6 Engine 1999 Model (6 Plugs) Fuel Injector System which I ignorantly bought not knowing that it heavily consumes fuel. I have been seeking advice from people; a friend suggested that I should change it to Golf 3 Engine while another suggested that the Air Flow Meter be adjusted but warned me that recalibrating the Air Flow Meter might affect the Injector System which is very sensitive. An acquaintance used Injector Cleaner spray on the Injector which reduced the fuel consumption but told me it should be done every 3 days. However, I wish to get a permanent solution. Expert/Experienced helpers please come to your boy's aid abeg. My post is long because I want to make things as clear as possible. Thank You for your anticipated help and Gd Morning once again. |
Years back, Charles Novia was not like this b4 so I wonder where he got this from. IMO, he's just using celebs predicament (good or bad) to make himself seen/heard on the showbiz scene. |
herquleez: In my opinion, it's a little too early to score the military operation in the NE. Agreed, the terrorists cannot face up to the might of the Nigerian Military (no way inn hell).@herquleez, u r 100% spot on. Only efficient intelligence will put them down and keep them down. |
In my opinion, this Aturu guy is just following due process (make e no be like say him no take action because dem go don pay am him legal fees). However, due to the nature of what they were arrested for (Terrorism); they will not be released. If you give those dangerous people one millisecond, too bad. They will evaporate and there will be negative consequences for a lot of people in Kano and Abuja (terrorists always leave you a memory or a mark to grieve about). |
Oh men! Make I start dey strategize how to gain from these investments POSITIVELY oh! *Typical Igbo business sense mode activated* ![]() |
As much I am impressed with the boy's progress, he really needs to go back to school (at least on a part time basis). The benefits of an education is too much to ignore even if na Secondary School. But then will he allow himself to look and think beyond the money he is making and go to school? It's his decision to make. |
Some people never cease to amaze me, imagine this funny old indomie noodle coming to the house of God to celebrate a SELECTION! By the way, why did the church allow him to do an illegitimately obtained thanksgiving(because he's a Governor right)? Christianity is no longer what it used to be anymore, I'm highly disappointed. |
