Aunty, you typed that sex is sex, whether married or not. You wrote a paragraph. Why won't one think that that is how you (not all Nigerian girls) think? doggedfighter: I a Nigerian girl and I am not a guy.
What makes you think you are in the best to know and talk about how Nigerian girls reason?
Or are you talking about women in your life ? |
Romance › Re: A Married Female Friend Asked Me Out Today by cooooooks(m): 10:58am On Oct 16, 2022 |
Not all but sadly, I think more than 60% think this way. I find most relationships AND marriages in Nigeria (especially when the man earns more) to be prostitution with extra steps. Dangrace01: Guys this is how Nigerian girls reason
Sex is just Sex
They give their body to any man they like which is okay
But then they want full commitment from men
Forgetting that Women are the gatekeepers of sex while men are the gatekeepers of commitment.
Sex for girls = Commitment from men. If you waste your sex dont expect full commitment from men
Men try to see beyond your nose once a girl has had sex with 2 guys dont listen to their talk of one man one wife.
You can marry one but enjoy other girls outside. |

Your problem is not that a married woman is looking to go outside. Your problem is that a man is feeling good that a (married) woman finds him attractive. May what you wish upon others be your own portion my sister. purples25: Women really need to stop giving men this ego boost.
Unrelated but triggered by the O.P....
He's got a girlfriend but he wants you to show affection...when you fall for him he just feeds his ego and goes back to gf...
He's married but wants to know you are attracted to him...just to feed his ego before he goes back to wifey....
You lower yourself as a married woman to toast a single man, which he is so happy about - all so he can brag that a married woman has toasted him before.
As a married woman you let a single guy seduce you....oga only wanted to do that so he could feel on top of the world about his seductive prowess. Not because he loves you.
As sad as oga here seems, i think he just wants to brag that a married woman is following him. There's an ego boost attached to all these things. |

Spoken like a true cheater or cheating partner. doggedfighter: Sex is just sex whether with a single lady or married lady.
There's nothing sacrilegious , spiritual or tabooish about it.
The only danger is being caught by an angry boyfriend or husband.
Just decide what you want to do and do it .
The final decision is yours ! |

Not just that the school is a DLI, check that their programs are eligible for PGWP. johnstan: If I remember, you will pick a school from the list of schools on the ocas site and follow through with the application based on the various information required.
You will need to confirm the English language requirement from the schools website before you proceed to the ocas site to apply.
I'm not aware of schools with high admission rates, simply check that your preferred school is a DLI, confirm their requirements and proceed.
Good luck. |

I have a Cameroonian friend/senior man. He went to Germany on a full PhD scholarship. Eventually, the immigration process was too difficult. He went to France, did another PhD program. Then France's contract discrimination was a problem. Finally came to Canada. The ONLY reason that Canada is preferred to Europe is the clearcut path to citizenship. femo86: Yea, based in Deutschland. Studied here and graduated. Both countries have almost same similarities except the language issues.
Canada offers a quality system of healthcare, easier permanent residency applications and a great public health system. On the other hand, Germany offers superior education at a low cost almost free (just pay semester fee between 250 to 400 per semester, good healthcare, great weather and a low cost of living.
Most students from Naija always migrate to English speaking countries like US n Canada, for better job opportunities....Most courses taken by naija students were those taught in English...and combining going to German language school and hustling, with studies is never easy...However, most Cameroonians and some other African countries learnt German before coming here, or they learn it as soon as they arrive Germany, but trust my naija people nah..... |
Politics › Re: Subsidy: I’m Sorry For The Next President – Sanusi by cooooooks(m): 10:52pm On Oct 15, 2022 |
- there is fraud in the current subsidy. Step one should be to change the way subsidy is paid for from day one. - step two should be to link subsidy (maybe with e naira) to incomes. This will drive everyone to declare income, something needed for planning purposes. - immediately start buying and selling crude and refined products in naira within Nigeria. Part of the reason for the explosion in subsidy is the destruction of the naira. Subsidy payments (in naira) have increased by 400% just based on currency exchange rate. - give anybody who wants and has a technical partner/expertise, a refining license. Fast track for people building or setting up modular refineries. - give existing refiners (perhaps including kpo kpo fire refiners) loan backing for capital investment. No actual money will change hands. BOI pay for their equipment directly. They pay for shipping and get refund within 2 years (after they have started producing). Give them import duty clearance. Or get them to import through any FTZs we already have. - when the average landing cost is not too much higher than the pump cost. Remove subsidy for people earning over N1 m a year in Nigeria. Subsidy payments will be made to the poorer Nigerians in e-naira. They can buy directly with their phones. The effect will be felt from day 1. Complete effect within 5/6 years. festacman: Love what Sanusi said though he didn't suggest solutions.
The truth is that saying you will remove fuel subsidy from day one as president means you are either deceitful or you are ignorant of our fundamental economic problems: we are producing little locally for export in addition to our now unreliable earnings from crude oil. So if you are removing the current oil subsidy which will push up cost goods and services locally and if you throwing the forex market to market forces, tell us your plan to hold the economy if things go south.
Look, Peter Obi (the breath of fresh air) stated earlier in his candidature of his intention to take Nigeria from consumption to production but didn't say HOW. Other candidates haven't said anything tangible on this.
We need a clear, home-grown (not texbook theories) multi-fields diversification plan proposal from the presidential candidates for moving our economy away from dependence on crude oil. Such plans MUST loop in the state governments. We need practical steps including necessary legislative interventions: - Steps to develop crop production, animal production (ruminants and poultry) - Steps to attract FDI, - Steps to develop Niger Delta fishery and other marine resources. - Steps to boost our SMEs, Steps to boost ICT capacity of our young people, - Steps for transparently bringing investors to exploit our solid minerals - etc
Buhari came with poorly planned diversification program that didn't involve the state governments for multiplier effects. It lost steam too fast. |

Do a credential evaluation. It is expensive but it will be helpful to all colleges or universities you apply to.

Remember seeing your posts months ago. Sorry about this. My suggestion: apply for GCMS ($5 - $ 15). See why they refused and other notes made. My guess is they don't expect you to return to Nigeria. If so, and if you want to apply to Canada again, permanent residence may be the best option. Learning French will definitely be a plus. There is a policy to get more French speakers in Canada, especially outside Quebec. I don't know much about SOWP (in fact I need to learn all I can about this as quickly as possible). My no knowledge mind tells me that 1 year may be too short for a SOWP. As for the visa, how long is the validity? If he is given a 1 year visa, it will expire next year Dec. From what I understand, either you go through people you know who are already in Canada, or you reach out to individual universities. Some post which topics they have available and you can apply to the hosting professor. Note that most PhD programs come with a (low) stipend: usually under $25,000 annually.
