Like I said before....

It's all only to "shout on his head". Nothing would be done. NLC and TUC won't go on strike over this kind of issue. After all, e no go pay dem.

It has been the practice in Nigeria for long.

Baba Emefiele will settle with a portion of his loot and move on to enjoy the rest somewhere else.

Even the so-called advanced climes many Nigerians love yapping about will and could even make him some kind of ambassador for some kind of nonsensical matters. It's all for the furtherance of interests.

Everything else is inconsequential.

Until you tribal bigots understand that no matter your tribe, you're in the same cage, the same predicament. And do away with your tribal minded nonsense. These men in high places will continue to use your foolishness against you.

Now, the eediots in NLC are planning another nationwide strike as they've seen that their influence has dwindled to almost zero after the Benin ancestor; Adams Oshiomole.

But, matters like freeing Emefiele and others who had erred and pocketed public funds, caught and brought to the public won't make them act.

Continue your tribal nonsense and yabbing oyibo who are racist without even realizing that in the real sense you're worst than they are.

Most of the senior doctors in General Hospitals in Nigeria have their own Hospitals outside.

They don't take their jobs with the Govt Hospital serious but when you patronize their privately owned hospital, you'll get real value for your money.

An eediot in LASUTH nearly condemned my mother's leg some years back. So in this life till I kick jerrycan, I'll never patronize them. After all, all the expense you'll make, if summed up will still be the same as visiting a privately runned medical facility.

Anything runned by this country s government no dey get head.

Politics › Re: Debate: Proposed Naira Redomination, Solution To Nigeria's Rising Inflation by correctguy101(m): 11:46am On Sep 29, 2023
nairalanda1:
Redenomination does not work.

Ghana redenominated their currency, and all of a sudden everyone was saying that it was 'a brand new revolutionary idea'., etc etc. Now Ghana is about to be bailed out by the IMF, and their currency is weak. Removing zeros did not change their situation.

The problem with Nigeria is that we are not earning enough dollars, because the source of our income is majorly oil...and oil fluctuates, which leads to revenues fluctuating, which leads to us never having enough money, and taking more loans.

Better we diversify our economy, and crucially become an industrial naiton, and stop all this subsides , which would allow investment and dollars to flow in to our oil and power sector , as well as other sectors....and let us become dependent on exporting manufactured goods and servicies.

Redenomination is just lipstick on a pig. It doesn't make the pig a beautiful female Homo Sapiens, it is still a pig ....with lipstick on.
Exactly...

The current situation in Ghana should tell anyone that it's totally stoopid to do that.

I feel the government and those in it know all these already but are too lazy to care and put in the effort it'll take to make it all work.

They're just focused on the furtherance of their political career.

Christianity Etc › Re: Did God Destroy The Earth With Flood? by correctguy101(m): 11:38pm On Sep 27, 2023
Aemmyjah:
Nobody
I repeat, nobody can prove there was never a global flood in man's history
Let's not forget that our earth is 70% water and most regions are on ice and note that the height of the mountains we see today was not the same as 4000 years ago... Mountains 'grow' and that is why the height of Everest and others keeps changing (Update yourself)... The Bible never said Noah went around looking for animals and it never said that all the animals came into the ark... It only said males and females of selected kinds of animals in 2s or 7s

The only issue is the events leading to the flood and the supernatural power
While many people, including atheists now agree that there was a global flood especially by confirming how widespread the story is across cultures and legend but, they say it is just an accident with no supernatural cause attached to it.

How do we know that it was God that brought about the flood?
Primarily, cos the Bible says so and the Koran supports that

Let's now leave Bible, if all life were wiped out, there would never be any human or animals today (evolutionists should take note).

That a family was spared in a global, catastrophic event that even the waters covered the highest mountains could not have been by chance but a miracle... Even animals were saved too, most of which were land animals and can't live on or in water. Could they have survived by chance? Even if they were able, we know that such a devastating flood covering all the mountains (shells and skeletons of sea animals give evidence to that), would not just come and disappear in one day. It will take several weeks or months... Even if this human family and animals were able to survive the flood somehow, they would also need to survive by eating and drinking... Such kind of flood would have destroyed all the trees and vegetations and all the water would likely be salt water which is not good for drinking. It only increases your thirst and you'll die more from thirst than from hunger...

Logically, the human family must have known that the flood was coming, they couldn't have flown into space to hide for all that period or hidden in any cave. They must have built an enclosure with outlet(s) for light and air and they must have packed in enough food for themselves and the animals for weeks or months.. This leads to another question? How did they know or what or who could have guided them? It could not have been chance but a supernatural source helping them to be well prepared and such a vessel must have been well-constructed spanning years and decades... Like Max said, it is a miracle cos such rains could have destroyed the ark too but God saved it

Now, the above is a good example of critical thinking and that is how I read and study my Bible... I ask deep questions too and do research. It is always like a jigsaw puzzle and I share with my Christian friends to strengthen them. An overly pessimistic critical thinking like the ones that atheists and Bible critics adopt is not a characteristic of intelligence. Besides, they don't belive that there's anything like truth or that truth is absolute but relative. Let them keep deceiving themselves...

I just used this small logic to present my points to everyone's understanding

I am Emmanuel
One of Jehovah's Witnesses
In Max voice, May you have peace cheesy
Gbam...

Even The Lost Book of Enki confirms that there truly was a flood... shocked
...

Only that Noah's name wasn't Noah but Ziusudra or something like that.
And ...
Only that the book admits that they whom the early earthlings call gods were present live on earth at that time and they were only aware of the coming flood but ignorant of the cause... also it claims that...

Only seedlings and genetical materials were adviced to be shipped and stored...

And..

That even after the flood, they, the so-called gods were shocked to find an earthling whom they've once banished at another far off locale, hale and hearty.. So their initial conjecture that the flood was a Earth wide calamity was erroneous.

Now, that's just all the Book of Enki and it's been real long I read the confusing accounts... I seriously don't bother with any account these days. Too lazy now.. cheesy

One thing though is for sure..

Civilizations (no matter how primitive they may seem compared to today)have always come and gone on this Mother Planet. As long as She continues to retain the capacity to sustain life, the Forces will always find a way to let life sprout on Her again. Unless this Planet loses that capacity, life will always find its way here and it's the same everywhere else (wherever that else may be) wink

So what's the biggie about arguing if God did it or not? God can still deem us all unfit or the next stage of evolution and eliminate us all, maybe replaced by a better long surviving specie. After all, we ourselves were a replacement for some other community of species along the way. Total extinction .. Nothing bad there if you ask me.. ..grin

The workings of our reality are wonderous and magical.

No Supernatural, just Natural but with an ill-informed and clueless Observer.. wink

Family › Re: Why Do Most Nigerian Men Change Towards Their Wives After Having Kids by correctguy101(m): 4:07pm On Sep 27, 2023
10thTenthMan:
Thank you. I really don’t know why they are beating about the bush. And being afraid to express what their MALE instincts transmits to them.

It is the same reason and female instincts that make many women go after 6 and 9 packs men after their husbands develop pot bellies at their 40s. Many of them, they are long for and get enticed by these same men with lies that they are going to the gym to keep fit.

While it isn’t encouraged to loose interest in your woman after she puts to bed, why beat about the bush on the matter. Why lie? What is the purpose of lying? And avoiding the real reasons? Worst case will be online insults which mean nothing. Absolutely no existential importance or value.

Men don’t fancy their wives after putting to bed because:

-Most women loose every form of physical attractiveness. In fact many of them become horrible looking, physically.

- Many add weight afterwards and become physically lazy. They aren’t able to tend the home.

- Many won’t even take proper care of themselves. Some won’t bathe till evening when the man comes from work. To them they have achieved the ultimate. “I don marry born na, Wetin remain again”? Mentality. They are just there like bread. Failing to dress up and impress the men. Tying wrapper from morning to night over their boobs.

- Many pay attention to the baby and ignore the man totally. This is not a bad thing. The child needs care. But men see it as neglect. Someone said the man should also love the child. Many men do. Loving a child doesn’t stop a man needing love from the woman.

- Many men are turned off by breastfeeding mothers. That whole thing where breast milk leaks from their boobs and they have to pad their boobs, many men hate. Some still bleed from their private parts weeks after birth and some months. Many men are turned off by this. In fact some men are turned off by pregnant women. Men don’t like and pay attention to what they aren’t attracted to.

In short many men see their wives as old and used. It doesn’t make it right. But that is how some men feel. Instinctively. If you don’t feel that way, good for you. But these are real feelings that many men feel.

So what should men do?

Intelligence should and MUST overcome instinct.

Intelligence should tell you that:

-She is your wife. You are a family. Marriage is about Duty and Responsibilities. It is your duty to love your wife. Common sense should tell you that even without childbirth, she will age. So love her in this trying times where her whole system has been turned inside out just to bear you a child.

- It isn’t her fault that her body is falling apart by various degrees depending on the woman’s genetic make up and level of physical fitness. Child birth could have caused it.

-The baby is both yours. Get down to child rearing. For now focus on catering for your wife and your child and leave your selfish sexual desires alone. Kiss her and help her to reignite the intimacy. Don’t go forcing sex on her.

-She just put to bed and probably facing post partum depression. Please allow her rest and stop asking for Pounded Yam and Fresh Eguisi soup everyday. Allow the woman rest a bit. Stop that nonsense of I don’t eat old soup. Which of una wey una Mama been Dey cool new soup for every night. Stop the forming and stop making life difficult for the mother who is taking care of a child.

-She also may not feel like having sex with you. Look she just put to bed. Doctors saw her bum bum. She is trying to wrap all that around her head, coupled with raising a child that can only communicate distress by Crying.

-She is weak from child rearing, waking up every 2-4 hours to breastfeed depending on age of the child.

-She is physically weaker due to the general stress from child birth.

-She is under pressure to perform as a mother.

-If she intentionally lets herself go, then encourage her to get back to shape. You are to live through the challenges of life together. Unless where your Life is threatened, health threatened or Infidelity, you are supposed to stick together.
Bless you brother...

What can we say?

The spirit could be willing, but the body is damn weak.

Only a serious sense of responsibility can save most men and women from their foolishness of not understanding that people must age.

So you met a policeman who spoke calmly and, maybe 3 passengers who replied roughly and all of a sudden, they are nice and angels from heaven?

What about the number of times Nigerians were calm and cooperative and policemen refused to do otherwise? What about the times Nigerians were stereotyped just for their hairstyle and for having beards?

I was in a Keke few Sundays back and a young guy was asked to alight... Asked where he was heading to for him to dress that way (he wore senator with palm o)... Asked to empty his bag, empty his pocket and open his phone. He asked them to empty his bag themselves in the glare of everyone that he doesn't want accidental discharge say them think say him wan comot gun or any other frivolous reasons... Refused to open his phone asking why they wanted to check it

The boss in the police van had to wave to the subordinates to allow him go, seeing that we in the Keke refused to leave the guy and zoom off as requested

Negotiations are just what we engage in to flavor our animalistic nature. Because a step below that is basically the law of the jungle.

So for example, as a country signs treaties and enacts UN laws, it still maintains a large military to fight off invaders, because the documents countries are signing are not what protects them, but their ability to fight if the other party breaks it.

Or when a bank is giving you a loan, and you both sign documents, but the banks make sure they have collateral worth more than the loan they give, so when you default, they won't lose.

So as you are entering any agreement/negotiations, make sure that when shit hits the fan, you do not lose, and that your strength is in you, not in the documents you are signing.
