If this is your plan, you are better off staying in Nigeria. That lifestyle you are used to in Nigeria either will cost you a lot more here or simply doesn't exist. Except you are an Epstein, this is not the kind of thing people do in Canada. Stay back in Nigeria and quietly enjoy your 5k 2nuts at the very cheap rates you can see it. Drink yourself to stupor and still drive back home even if police dey road. If you carry this attitude to Canada, you will not only suffer and become poorer from your addiction, but you will also be putting yourself at risk of getting caught by the law. For you, one day, bush meat will not be able to outrun the hunter

Nigerians are not ready yet to fight. And to actually vote for true change by not looking at the party of the candidate. Sadly, APC go still win next election. Until we are ready for true change, na suffer e go be.

Yet, Port Harcourt is there burning under the influence of black soot and they do nothing about it. Again, the hypocrisy we see. Anyone taking anything this government seriously on anything is just stupid. If you had to invest because of this, just think twice.

Thanks very much everyone. I'm still consulting with friends and family, someone suggested I take a study leave from my job instead of resigning outrightly. My wife is a good woman, otherwise I wouldn't entertain the idea at all.
A good woman in Nigeria can turn something else in the UK. Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into.

Another criminal is left off the hook on the basis of technicality. Bode George, Orji Kalu, Olisa Metuh and now Nwobike. Supreme court keeps voiding their conviction based on technical jargon.
That was the exact thing I thought first. I don't understand how the highest court in the land continues to pervert justice at this scale. This is just horrible and unacceptable. Who are these judges? In the US, this won't even get to the supreme court. They won't even take up a case like this. It sets a precedence that will continue to let criminals free.

All these our politicians, including Buhari, always think they are superhuman. Not only didn't they take covid seriously until it at started killing their friends, they also continue to treat it with light gloves because they think they are vaccinated and so can't catch it. Aso rock didn't even implement any serious procedures until Abba Kyari died. Now, until Buhari catches this thing now and dies off, that's when they'll realise the visit of the South African President was a mistake. They just never learn. Like say dem be stubborn goat.

That’s why the bags are not free, the charge is to discourage people. I ain’t about to pay any extra money, no matter how small, so I take mine from home.
It's such a small charge many can afford it. A better idea would simply be to use paper bags or simply encourage people to come with their reusable bags by asking them to.

I'm still waiting for when these people will realize there is nothing certain in life other than death and then do the right things for their people, stand up to the wrongs in the society, and provide the most quality life for their fellow citizens. Nobody remembers you when you are dead and you didn't do the right thing.

I'm getting used to cashiers asking me "do you need a bag" after making a purchase. But this last week, I lost 15% grin of my home training grin shocked. Don't blame me o. I needed a pen and so I rushed to Dollarama which is not too far from my house. While making payment for $1.50, madam cashier asked me, "Do you need a bag" angry. I look her, she look me. I look her again, she look me. We Kon dey look ourselves. sad I said really!!!! Do I need a bag? I only bought a pen! Just a pen! I know I was being petty but make we reason am now, how I go buy one big bag, Kon drop pen for inside, dey carry am go house. I finally remembered my home training and said; no, thank you with a squeeze of my face. I dey imagine if na Naija. I for don give am one sarcastic answer like this: the bag too small for pen o. If u get suitcase, make u give me cos pen can be very heavy cool.
For this same Dollarama, I carry bag go this time around, I won pay again, she asked me: 'do you need a bag despite holding bag in my hand. I've made peace with it sha
I don't know why they don't encourage reusing plastic bags in Canada. If for nothing, at least to save the planet. When I'm in Canada, I go to stores with my own bag. Dem go still ask me, do you need a bag?

Good afternoon.. I've plans on going for my masters in education in Canada after my B.Sc here in Nigeria. What's the chance of getting a teaching job there after studies in Canada
If you finish with good degrees, most colleges will give you a teaching job. It will be much more difficult with universities without having done extensive research.

Congratulations to her!

I commend her for this move.

Dearest Naija women, this is 2021. If you want a child, no husband forthcoming, fck societal rules and get that child.

Even if it takes stealing sperm, steal it!

After all, they always use lux soap to waste it inside bathroom. Is it that 1 drop they gave you that will kill them?

Don’t stay and be asking “did you come inside?” at 38. Or drinking postinor 2 upandan.

Children would love you in good and bad. Dirty mummy, fat mummy, stretch marks mummy, mummy is mummy.

Don’t allow hypocritical Nigerians dictate how you live your life. Especially when you are not harming anyone.
You go just turn chief advisor here dey give stupid advice. Which one be stealing again? Yes, definitely go get that baby. But stealing bawo? Na so e don hard. You need to shut your mouth for a few days make e heal small.

shocked

Because church is just a money grabbing business organization, you conclude that there's no God and you became an atheist.

You talked about atheist nation being developed, can you boldly point out that any nation that's made up of 70% atheist, and they glorified so much in atheism ? Is there any? Most developed countries are theist, is either they're christians, Muslim, budhist, Hindu, Bahai, Jians etc. Their mode of worship and references may differ, but they all believe in God the creator of Heaven and earth.

You are matured enough to make decisions for yourself, you know what is good for you and what is bad for you. If you think that atheism is the surest way for you go ahead, but don't come and say nonsense of what you don't know much about. You saying most developed nations are mostly atheist, that's stupidity at it highest level.
I think you might be the one who's stupid here. Yes, developed countries are mostly atheist. You don't know that? Maybe you don't realise, for example, that France is not a Christian country anymore, nor is Norway or Finland, etc. These are countries that don't carry religion on their heads like your Nigeria and that have progressed because of that. What has your Nigeria achieved with all its religion?

Please guys, have anyone recently Travel from abroad to Nigeria. Do someone who is fully vaccinated need to pay #51,000 again ?
Also curious to know what the current situation is. But given the amount of money and the embezzlement going on in Nigeria, I doubt they'll remove that 51k requirement. It was there in the first place to be stolen, not to check if anyone had a virus.
