simpledoty:Keke or bus can never get you 20k in a day, even if you resume driving by 5am and close for the day by 12midnight. Reason is that you'll have to wait for your turn before loading. And when you eventually load and get to your destination, before it reaches your turn to load again, it can take up to 30 minutes or more, depending on the number of Keke or bus drivers ahead of you and availability of passengers on ground. We've not even talked about running cost like fuel, police, loading money for agbergo, food... etc, which will be removed from the money you made. He can go ahead and do the Keke or bus business tho, but should erase the thought of making 20k daily so that he won't be disappointed. |
This is a leader who cares for the welfare of his people, cos he understands that leadership is all about service, and the people need to be encouraged for their efforts in labor. Unlike here where our leaders have borrowed and taxed us to the extent that keeping money in your account for a long period of time isn't safe anymore cos the government might just They haven't implemented the minimum wage of a merely N30k yet, they wouldn't hesitate to tell us how fuel over there is more expensive than the N170 per liter they're giving us, forgetting that the average man over there who earns over 2m as minimum wage can easily afford a liter of fuel compared to the average Nigerian earning 30k on paper as minimum wage but less than 20k in reality. |
1. Go for PGD 2. Then do your Msc 3. Then run some Professional courses in your field. 4. Then look for a job. If you don't have the finances to achieve the advice above, learn a skill. |
Slimslimqq:@Malbath accused you of scamming her of her hard earned 40k. The number she posted that you both used in communication matches one of the numbers you've posted here on another thread as revealed by the op. How do you explain that? |
This is very revealing...but what do people gain in this? |
Depends on your location. Where are you located? |
thesicilian:Acquiring degrees isn't bad. It's just that Nigeria has failed as a country that's why there's no difference between an educated and an uneducated person. |
MissB46:What about your parents, uncles, relations, try to reach out to them. Hopefully they'll help out. |
If he has a PhD like he claimed he should move into the academic field. Apply for lecturing job in all these private polytechnics and universities, use the working experience there to build his CV, then apply in federal or State universities. Hopefully he'll get employed. |
Sixfeetbelle:If she's certain that she didn't cheat on her husband, she can defend herself by requesting for a DNA test to be conducted on her as well, regardless of how angry the husband is he will have no choice than to wait for the outcome of his wife's test. |
Sixfeetbelle:A swapped baby wouldn't have the same DNA as both parents cos none of them birthed him/her. In such cases the woman would be vindicated and the hospital where the child was born can be sued for negligence. |
Omoniyidarasimi:I doubt if any university in Nigeria offers that course. And even if they do, airlines here would prefer to fly in expatiates to service and repair their aircraft than entrust it to Nigerian graduates, so they'll end up being jobless. |
Pharmacy shop requires a lot of licence and registration which would make you spend more money. Running a photocopy shop in a school environment is very lucrative, cos you don't need much to set up. I'll suggest you go for the photocopy shop since you're on a low budget for now, with time, when you've attained financial stability, you can open the pharmacy shop. |
chatinent:That has always been my problem from the onset. Young boys get sexually abused all the time. (Case study depper life school incident) but we're always making it seem as if it's only females that are victims. My take is whatever judgement given to male rapist should be meted out to the females as well. |
unilagfreshest:Depends on how much you have on ground for the side Hussle. Your capital would determine the kind of business you can possibly do. |
Sports and romance are totally different. The examples you gave are strictly business. Love is emotional. If a girl whom you love cheats and leaves you, it would be difficult to get it over your mind let alone accept her back. |
Your brother in-law's attitude has nothing to do with Igbo tradition. Your husband is the first son, and you're his wife, so like he rightfully told you, your place is where he stands in the family. I'll therefore advise you to ignore the brother like your husband suggested. He's just being childish an annoying one at that. When he sees you don't pay attention to it anymore he'll grow up. |
Afam4eva:Afam kedu ka isi eme, ezi afọ ọhụrụ |
iamJ:Don't tell me that you've never seen an African fruit salad before. |
bukatyne:Why did you dig up this acient thread...? |

dont8:My brother when abacha was talking about vision 2020 most people didn't understand. We that survived to see it will surely have bedtime stories to tell our kids. I'm glad you're good... stay safe |
Rocktation:Thanks! ![]() Rocktation:My dear I didn't o! With the insecurity on our roads coupled with the inflation in fuel price like you pointed out, and rumors of a possible lockdown... etc. I just decided to sit back before I embark on such journey and get stranded there due to lockdown and when we resume work I won't be able to show up. Rocktation:Are you from Delta State? I do visit there quite often. For the rice, Biko I understand don't over stress yourself... your desire to grant my request is good enough. Rocktation:Thanks... death is so so heartless. Was actually an aunt (My dad's youngest sister) a church member, and two friends who died in an accident. Crazy thing is that I was supposed to be in that vehicle but I didn't travel with them cos of my job. Was really terrible. Rocktation:Wao that's good. Don't you think you should go into politics yourself, I'll support you in whatever way I can. Women are making waves in politics these days o. Don't dull. I believe you've got the charisma for it. And you sound like a good listener to me as well. You'll do well in it. Just give it a shot. Rocktation:Lol... asking my fellow bachelor for lunch. I don't want to eat concoction biko. Besides not everyone is actually crazy about the whole Christmas stuff. I myself just use it to visit friends family whenever I'm in the village. Rocktation:I won't rule out that possibility, you women really do know how to guard your assets. Maybe she doesn't want to loose him to social media. Rocktation:What are friends for... Rocktation:Thanks for the compliment...Tne thing about me is that I do keep to my word....concerning women, by God's grace I'm hoping to sort that out next year. Rocktation:I wish you the same. And please stay safe. |
Mynd44:It's well...the Lord is your strength. Good to know you're good. |
Wao so this controversial year is finally coming to an end..I'll say 2020 was something else. all in all I give God the glory for my life. I had an accident earlier in the year, but I'm completely strong Hale and hearty. Lost a good number of relatives and friends this year. I also achieved some good things this year tho... got a car via Nairaland. ![]() My Thanksgiving is that none of us is Missing. Rocktation: How have you been...its been ages. I'd say you owe me Christmas lunch. It's my right as a bachelor. ![]() Mynd44: you once told me you don't celebrate Christmas. At least I'll get to eat your ration. How are you doing?Dont8: you just went MIA. Hope you're good. ![]() Ayobase: Not a word from you either...hope you're good. ![]() |
Start the sewing business, establish yourself in it then enrol for part-time. If you start schooling without any form of financial backup or sponsor, you might end up dropping out along the way cos the money involved in schooling isn't a child's play. The Lord is your strength. |
