HealthRe: Be Very Careful When Buying Facemask From Roadside Hawkers by CrazyMan(m): 6:48am On May 03, 2020
Better still, tell your tailor to get you as many as possible then wash and iron them. That's exactly what I did.

Buying things as delicate as facemask from hawkers is even more deadly than not putting on a face mask at all.

Let's all stay safe.

Dog Lovers, Please I Need Advise On My Rott's Naughty Behavior

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler named Gift and I don't understand him anymore. We can't chastise him again when he misbehaves because he bares his teeth and growls menacingly at us if we try to spank him for being naughty. He welcomes us when we come home like any loyal, loving pet, but yesterday he shocked me. Usually as we are about to enter the house he playfully holds one foot down so we can't enter, or he jumps on you and hugs you tight so you can't move. When I got back from work yesterday I was exhausted and I didn't have energy for his play so I hugged him briefly but as I entered the house I mistakenly stepped on his right hindpaw.

He howled, left me, and lunged at me, this time to bite me. He actually narrowly missed my arm.

I was mad. I turned and yelled "Gift are you mad?" He bared his fangs and barked at me. Me sef I bared my teeth at him and ordered him to stand down. He growled, me sef I growled back. Do you know this dog kept advancing menacingly at me and barking? I quickly borrowed myself brain and locked the door. Werey dog.

I can't shoo Matilda, my chicken in his presence. He covers her with his body and warns me away. And now, the most perplexing thing is he now marking every where in the compound. My sib came visiting and before he entered the house, he quickly relieved himself outside because he was very pressed. Do you know Gift went to where the dude urinated and peed on top? It has gotten so bad now that Gift entered the house and marked different sections of the corridor and smaller dining area with pee.

Now, I don't know if this is classic Rott behavior or if he is just being indisciplined. I confess we spoilt him a bit because he is such a sweet animal when he is not misbehaving.

How do we discipline a dog that has grown wings? He is well socialised so it's not a case of too much isolation.
My dear rott is a guard dog and not a pet dog. Very aggressive one at that. The attitude it's displaying to you isn't new cos it's he's nature....if you need a pet dog, something you can cuddle play with and even create a room for it in your apartment, I'll suggest you go for Lhasa Apso. They're fun loving and easy to train. My cousin recently got one of them as a birthday gift for his 6 years old daughter.

For that rott I'll advise you to sell it. Your safety comes first. Marking where someone urinated is it's own way of telling you that he's alpah. Don't let your emotions for it cloud your better judgement. That dog is challenging your authority. One day he'll lash out aggressively at you.

Rotts are notorious for attacking and even killing their owners that's why some countries have limited them to serve as guards on private property... etc.

Just sell it Biko to avoid stories that touch the heart....stay safe.
PoliticsRe: Sani Abacha With Abiola & Michael Otedola (Throwback Photo) by CrazyMan(m):
The officer behind abacha stretching neck like someone in an exam Hall is late Major general Abdukareem Adisa.

He became famous during the oputa panel sitting that was organized to determine if there was indeed a coup in 1997 as alleged by abacha.

His funny English made me laugh so hard back then.

May his soul rest in peace

I wish we can lay hands of some of these fraudsters and whip them bloody. It's so annoying. Anywhere you turn to there's an account number staring at you
My dear the most annoying is that most of this beggers edit their profile and turn their gender to F. Maybe they feel people would consider a female in need than a male.

I received a mail from one of them last week, maybe he/she went through my profile before sending the mail.

Usually they'll try to appeal to your emotions, that's their weapon...once you give in you become a victim. So I replied the mail with my phone number and told the person to give me a call.

A number flashed me, I called back and it was a female voice...I told the receiver to take heart that this covid 19 pandemic would be over soon and things would normalize.

I knew the person was a scammer but I was just playing along. Two days later I called the same number with my other line and lo and behold a male voice answered. I asked to speak with the owner of the line and he told me that he's the owner.

I just laughed and hung up.

A student two years ago has suddenly turned to a mother of 3. Can you deliver 3 kids within the space of 2 years?

This is why so many people find it very difficult to help strangers because 99% of them are bloody liars.

Please stop responding. I think you have made by your point very clear.

Sometimes life pushes people to the extremes and make us do things we are not proud of. Things that, looking back, one is filled with sorrow...and gratitude for how merciful God is. He will never fail in times of trouble. When you pray and heaven is silent, even that is an answer on itself. Only those who have walked the walk that can confidently talk the talk. This is coming from someone who has seen things smiley

It has ended in praise, like you said. It is not your portion to beg in life. Just work hard, break out in sweat and do not have the mindset that when stuck, the Internet is always there to ask for help. May it never happen again.

I advice you to stop responding and move on with your life. There is no pride in what you were forced to do here, neither should you blame people for wanting to scrutinise you. Evil people have made it difficult for people to give their hard earned money out because the lines between scammers and those in genuine need have become blurred

God that sees all that is done in the secret will reward us openly.
Sadly he/she has resumed begging...same person different format.

Sundaygirl:
God see them through.

Apologies to everyone who may find this offensive. This is my last option. Please help a mother of 3 with aged mother living with me. Corona has grounded everything I and my husband used to do to provide food for our family and being locked down getting to a month now, putting food on the table for our children is a big problem. I don't want to start narrating what we've been through in the past. I honestly need your assistance please. All I need is to provide food for my family this period. I believe God together with our individual effort will see us through from this pandemic. God bless every man and woman that help to ensure we eat. Thanks.

CareerRe: COVID-19 ! Okada Rider Turns To Pure Water Seller In Ebonyi Over Ban Of Okada by CrazyMan(mod): 8:54am On Apr 16, 2020
I believe that the ban is only temporary, after this whole covid 19 issue it would be lifted.

In as much as smuggling people into the state is wrong but Dave went too far by banning them totally. In my opinion he should have banned only those that operate in border towns like Nkalagu, Nguzu edda, Abomege... etc and left those in areas far from the border to keep operating so that they can at least feed their families.

Ebonyi isn't Lagos, there are areas you can't access with vehicle and Keke only okada. So baning okada would leave a lot of people stranded and helpless.

Even the virus needs to rest. It's not easy to infect people non stop from Monday to Thursday. Believe me it would run out of steam.

A cease fire by the governor and the virus on Fridays to enable both parties mobilize supplies for more attacks in the coming week is a welcome development.

Why people still take the risk of proposing publicly beats me. Do you even know if that person loves you well enough or is even psychologically ready to marry you at that point in time?
Any man that attempts this with me is asking for trouble. I don't like drama.
Believe me 99% of all this public proposals you see that gets rejected are some guys weird way of trying to trap the girl into marrying them.

You'd be shocked if I tell you that some of them barely even know the girl. I know of a guy who met a girl in a cinema, chatted her up and continued on social media (WhatsApp) after a few weeks he invited the girl for lunch in an eatery and lo and behold it was his own weird way of asking her to marry him...I don't need to tell you that his silly request was turned down.

No girl who is in a loving relationship for years and understands her man would reject his proposal unless they're having problems.

To be sincere with ourselves, this "Stay At Home" would be very difficult to enforce in Nigeria. Black men are stubborn. There have to be soldiers who are ready to punish defaulters very very well, hit their head with guns and make them do frog jumps. Else, e go hard o.

All the black men i met yesterday said corona virus is a scam and Nigerian sun would kill it. I just felt like biting them.

I can bet that not all the people that came in contact with the governor will come out. Stubborn goats!
I watched a video where police had to literally flog stubborn worshippers out of the church...I think it happened in Zimbabwe. Why do people disobey authorities and claim to obey God?

Africans are stiffed necked people and I hope it doesn't become our undoing.

The best thing to do is to stockpile our homes with enough provisions that can sustain us for months pending when this whole epidemic would be over.
HealthRe: COVID-19: Ogun Confirms 62-Year Old Man As New Case, Identifies 32 Contact by CrazyMan(m): 4:11am On Mar 25, 2020
How difficult is it for people to stay at home?

As at February 23rd, Italy had 5 confirmed virus cases and zero death.

The Italian government issued a stay at home order, people neglected it.

30 days later, Italy has over 60,000 confirmed cases and over 6,000 deaths.

There's always a price to pay for disobedience...Nigerians should learn from this and over simple rules.

EducationRe: Coronavirus: Enugu Govt Directs Closure Of Schools by CrazyMan(m): 3:22pm On Mar 19, 2020
Every state in Nigeria should follow this trend. Safety first before anything else.

No time for blame games... the virus has entered the country. The best we can do is to stay safe.

Also we should stockpile our homes with enough provisions as no one knows when the market would shut down. The worse thing that can happen to anyone is to survive Corona only to die of hunger.

We need politicians to start becoming the victims.

Corona abeg please help us start a revolution.

Try reach Abuja political quarters.

Up till now, only 5 test centers. Border closed for those travelling out but open for those coming in. And we say we have leaders.

Who do us this thing?
Truth is if any prominent politician or leader test positive to the virus, the media won't publicize it. So what's the point... we'd still be left in the dark.
