Lucid1:As it stands there won't be any penalties...the 1-0 lead Liverpool had that would have thrown the game into penalties has been cancelled. The score currently stands at 2-1 meaning if it ends this way Atletico would go through cos of away goal. |

Atletico will most likely scale through...the match might end in a draw or a win for Liverpool that won't be enough to see them through to the next round. 1 Like |

Post her pictures here just in case. Also the Young shall grow bus she boarded from Jos where was it heading to? My advice is that you go to the young shall grow park where the bus was headed and ask questions about the bus your sister boarded. They're the ones that can give you reasonable answers. 1 Like |

Did you submit your CV/credentials to them? If you're curious go to the address and check for their signboard. If the said address doesn't carry any signboard displaying the company name that sent you that mail, then they're most likely scammers, ritualist, kidnappers...etc. |

It's Ngbo not Mgbo. Also Ohafia isn't only spoken by bende people it's spoken by Ohafia and Edda people. Although there are very little difference between the way an Ohafia man and an Edda speaks but it's the same language. |

Career / Re: I Was Lured To Rivers State With A Job Offer And Got Kidnapped – Job Seeker Shar by CrazyMan(m): 5:09pm On Feb 29, 2020 |
Eyah...sorry. The rate at which graduates react whenever they hear the word recruitment calls for serious concern. Some would even risk their lives and embark on night journey just to try their chances if they'll get lucky. Unfortunately, there are those with alterior motives who capitalizes on the desperation of these jobs seekers to enslave, defraud, kill, rap*e, kidnap...etc them. That's why I do advice that people have to be very careful with all these juicy job offers. I once read here on Nairaland how a guy left Lagos to Minna believing he was going for an interview in a reputable company only to get to Minna and discover it was GLND. Isn't GLND in Lagos that he'll travel for over 800km for the same thing? The sad thing about that story is that the funds the guy used in transporting himself to Minna was borrowed. A simple research would have saved him such stress. Whenever you receive a text message, email or a call from any company or individual, inviting you for an interview, the first thing to do is to run a Google check on the name of the said company. You must find out if 1. The company actually exists. 2. If they're recruiting as claimed by the sender of the text/email/call. 3. If their contact email, number (if any) and address corresponds with the one that was sent to you. 4. If they're complains from victims about that particular company. Once you finish your research and you're convinced that they're gininue, then you can begin your journey to the address if not, you've saved yourself from becoming a victim of fraudsters, kidnap or ritualist. |

Gloriagee:There is more to marriage than who clears up the dishes. When you genuinely love someone all these irrelevant things would mean nothing. Cos there are more serious and pressing issues that needs attention in the home than dishes. And yes most great girlfriends make terrible wives....and for the record, I'm not married. 1 Like 1 Share |

SweetCunt97:That's why I modified my initial post. A woman is supposed to keep her husband company while eating. That way who clears up the table won't matter cos he'll happily assist you in doing so. |

Dande55:Next time read and understand before hitting the reply button it won't cost you anything. The man wasn't complaining about weeding the grasses. His annoyance was his own wife bluntly telling her sister to return back the Cutlass cos the job clearly belongs to the man. Wisdom is what preserves a home, any woman that lacks it would end up destroying her family with her own foolishness. |

uboma:My dear it's not about pride, women are opportunists in nature. Some years back where I used to live, there a neighbour friend of mine weeds the compound whenever the grasses over grow and he's chanced....his house shared a fence with mine. His wife's two younger sisters were staying with them, what brought a very serious quarrel one morning was when one of the wife's sister decided to trim the grasses. The wife bluntly told her to return back the Cutlass that it's the job of the husband. Unfortunately the man heard it and that statement made him mad. I had to calm him down when he told me about the incident. Many women these days behave like fools, the day you engage in any domestic role is the day they'll automatically assign that role to you. So the rule of the thumb is to concentrate on your own role and she hers. Unless your wife is an angel, then you can choose to assist and be rest assured that she appreciate your efforts rather than convert it to a role for you. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Gloriagee: Have you ever been to Benin republic, you're here saying advance country. For your information, in the so called advanced country which I myself have been opportuned to visit their women cook and serve their husbands. In areas where the wife is a career woman, she hires a nanny/cook and pays her from her own purse. Cos she knows it's her responsibility. The problem with you girls is that you're much better as girlfriends than wifes. A girlfriend would wash her guys clothes, cook for him, keep him company...etc. but the moment he upgrades her to a wife it becomes a tug of war who does what and who doesn't do what. Do you know why many men cheat on their wives it's because their side chick knows the role the wife is supposed to play and is fully aware that she's (the wife) isn't playing it. So she capitalizes on that error, illfitrates the home and wins the husband over to her side. So please spare me the crap of advance country bullshit. If you're not ready to be a wife to a man you married, the be prepared to share him with someone who's ready to give him what you're too arrogant to offer. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Gloriagee:If I may ask whats your job as a wife? Most conflicts in marriages today arise because most of you dumb females don't even know your role as a wife. You just want a husband that's all and have nothing to offer to him aside from spreading your legs for sex and popping out babies. When a man spends 30days struggling to earn a living in order to give you a better life, you see it as his responsibility. He leaves the home very early and ensures that enough finance is made available for the home. Then comes back exhausted and finishes his food and you expect him to clear the plates. If you can't keep him company while he eats and prefer to play the role of a restaurant waiter then you must play it to the fullest by clearing the table when he's done. That's your own responsibility. 2 Likes |

Citizenshelm:What then is the purpose of being married when you still live like a bachelor? The ideal thing is for him to do after eating is to abandon it there in the dining and his wife will either call the maid to clear up or do it herself. *Modified * A good wife is supposed to even sit with her husband and keep him company while he eats (If possible bring another spoon and join him) that way he'll gladly accompany you to the kitchen with the dishes and you two will continue your gisting there and do the washing together. 5 Likes |
