Buhari is being petty by issuing an official press release to an unofficial statement made by tinubu.
He should have ignored and moved on.

That's the best thing to do.there's so much divergent interest going on.he better keep his integrity intact.
On the other hand,he must have gotten the memo that tinubu would win the primary with or without his support.
I was even shocked when apc secretary in Taraba state openly said on channels TV that tinubu own apc.

This news doesn't look real.Its wrong of Buhari to still treat apc as a formation of many blocs after how many years.

In the presidential system of government, the president has near absolute control of the party at the national level and the governors at the state level.

Which absolute control??.is he the one financing the party?
That party members give him respect doesn't means he has to abuse it.
You people keep accusing tinubu of nominating Lagos governors when he is not in government himself.
Tinubu is not a small fry anybody can toy with in apc.he is an authority by himself.
Am beginning to believe some of you attacking tinubu are not apc members because no apc members will undermine his contributions and influence in apc strong hold on power.

I'm proud to say it out loud that I support TINUBU. Of all the candidates, he has shown the capacity and ability to find and install capable hands in important positions. This to me is a critical ability that a lot of Nigerian leaders lack.
Having said all that, what's important in my view is a free and fair chance to win the primary via an election. If Tinubu is allowed to contest like all the other candidates and he loses, then so be it. But to prevent him from contesting will be catastrophic for APC in the short and long run.

Nobody can disqualify Tinubu in Apc,.
