Responding to Dendenbula is like talking to a yam tuber so it becomes a vegetable. In fact, your chances are better that you might get some result than talking to the foundational tribalist Dende1 and his low priest OnlyBIGFATLies and the hordes of tribal man and maid servants! I am just here to remind the e-soldiers that Ihejirika and his enforcers are still waiting for you to keep your appointment. Now, I am told that some little secondary school boys have actually mounted a check point to open the first round of smashing before you go on to meet the Girls Scout, Boys Scout, Man O War, etc. When will Dendenson and LiesONLY quit being slack poohsies and fight a real war? Or, break a bottle for starters?

This is what happens when Southern Nigeria ALWAYS accuses Northern Nigeria as "a parasite". Well, now they are acting it out and what else would you say now that they haven't heard before? They want more oil money while their own resources lie fallow and what will the useless president do? Nada! Zip! Zero! He go no sense! Tribalists will abuse other Nigerians but see who's still smiling to the bank for "almost" free?

^ Ha! You the arch tribalistic and bigoted evil racist of NLand now calling another names? I am wondering if your name was included on the "REMATCH" list and if not, it is just that there's no way any human can track all the multiple IDs racists like Obiagwu, Dedenson1, ILL-Logic Mind, Okijah Juju, Ezeuche, ACM 10, Adabadada, OnlyFATBIGLies, and too many KKK racialists on NL. I think racists and tribalists like you should be banished to a different planet where you can have your utopia! tongue tongue
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by CyberG(op): 2:25am On Mar 28, 2012
I'd like to thank contributors, both positively and otherwise, to this thread. I see many altruistic posters using every fragment of their brain cell to show Dedenson1 the light. Sorry, but this will not work and I ask that you review his track record of blind tribalism here on NL and he taught most of his disciples (listed earlier) the art and science of tribalism. However, let us keep the sole objective of this thread in view:

A REMATCH of the CIVIL WAR OF 1967 - 1970. I know many Igbos, including my friends, who would find contemplating even a daily rehash totally distasteful but the little-minded, poisonous tribalists have swore not move on after 42 years and NOT that they saw even a bird during the war. That is already and documented even on this website. Since the new generation war-mongers believe their forebears didn't fight well enough, could and should have "won" the war, blame everyone else including foreign nations, it is expedient that we have this rematch to put the issue to bed - after they have proved better than the 1960s combatants and get "VICTORY".

This post is a reminder because for 3 days since this REMATCH was called, they have just been talking, NO ACTION. The Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force including SANE Nigerians from every tribe have been waiting. Now, you have 4 more days to even put some action to your words. Since you want to settle the scores, start NOW. The COAS, Lieutenant General Onyeabo Azubuike Ihejirika, and his men are waiting. So is Navy, Air Force, even Police, Boy Scout, Girls Scout, Man O War, and regular people including your parents who saw the war and will probably slap SENSE into your head! But hey, you still have 4 days and everyone is waiting! If you don't do anything still, please shut up, find a real job and get a life! To everyone, me love you all and I can't wait to take a vacation to Nigeria again! kiss
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Biafra Speech Explained by CyberG: 1:53am On Mar 28, 2012
@OP, you can explain till you are blue in the face, this will cure the tribalism that has been indoctrinated into Nigerians as a result of the civil war. There are objective, exhaustive, cross-referenced books about the Civil War and the whiners will NEVER read it! If they do, they will cancel out the lines from their minds and replace it with the heresy they would rather believe. Some of them are "old" yet they are cry babies when for example the tribalism ring leader Dededenson, and illogical Mind claims to be teaching his baby Nazi tactics, you can be sure another whiner is in the making. This war ended over 40 years ago and who were the military actors? A 33 year old guy called Gowon and a 34 year old guy called Ojukwu! They did their bit, took hard decisions, made their own fair share of mistakes, lived way longer and are least likely to even talk about any form of aggression again! Ojukwu long returned to Nigeria, got married, got involved in the political process and life continues but the tribalistic, cry babies are permanently stuck in the reverse gear of the "last century". Nothing will change and the Nigerian Forces are still waiting for their new Biafra REMATCH by the end of this week: https://www.nairaland.com/899348/nigerian-civil-war-rematch
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by CyberG(op): 7:22am On Mar 25, 2012
^ Thanks for getting the gist! I see many failed attempts to lighten-up the ignorance of a few people who only listened to a few stories told over a place of akpu and eba here! This goes for all the e-warring tribalist parties on NL. Now, the usual tribalists get all touchy and defensive when people call them out firmly but truthfully. Can someone show me the llie in my post? Truth is tribalists are dark-hearted, soulically black and any attempt to light up ignorance with knowledge liberates the younger ones who are just hearing buzzwords and indoctrination.

@ Calloti: How it helps matters? Very obvious if you read the post: There's no need for fighting forever on NL. Anyone who cannot receive the graceful end to the war of 1967 has up to a week to engage the Nigerian Forces on a new war where the inferiority and superiority complex will be finally put to rest in a decisive REMATCH.

@ Posters: Here is the list of KNOWN tribalists on this thread: Blackpikin, Yeske, AfamEva. I see a few new names who are late comers to the party or just turn-coats with a new ID. Well, those 3 know who I am and even their super-tribalistic bosses know their nemesis when they show up here: Dede1 (King Tribalist), OnlyBIGLIES (chief Tribalist), Logic Mind (turn coat, irredeemable), Okija Juju (was surprised to find he has now joined the league of losers after indoctrination by ODedenson), Nchara (sold his soul to hatred tribalism), Mekuxxx, High Chief (Condemned to blackness tribalist), Manchy7431 (team tribalist member), Proud-Igbo, Htajz, OdualSoja, Bashr8 (super frustrated tribalist, ha!), Ezeuche (you should be number 2 just after Dendenson1, condemned tribalist), Ngodigha1 (tribalistic team mate with hate), Phreahrabbit (tribalist, trying to get promotion), DayoKanu (Ha! he is now a core tribalist too), lagcity (ha! tribalist), BEAF (OMG! How did I almost forget Supreme Tribalist Commander pretender), Uche2005 (also wants to split Nigeria in a different way using all kinds of maps), ACM10 (hateful tribalist, rank frustrated seargent), Ikeymann (subtle tribal quartermaster, plays every position in the game), BlueTooth~ (Ha, charirman tribal company), etc, etc!

There are many more but the more senior ones on this list know their super-boss when they meet them and you will see them abusing that I have called them out. Not all on this list are the usual aggressors, but they are as complicit from both sides. There are more on NL with multiple IDs. These people mostly are responsible for "This post has been hidden" especially the devil-assisted tribalists like Odedenson, OnlyLIES, Logic Mind (large tribalism shareholder) and CO. So, there is no need to waste time e-tribalizing the post. The Nigerian Army is on standby anywhere you want to fight. We are tired of how everyone is keeping them down because me myself, the thought that you people are blind sided by elites of every tribe stealing money, expanding and promoting corruption, etc while you fight is enough motivation to want to see you take on the armed forces. Yes, you are the majority of Nigeria and even the French, Britain, America are all tired. So, start your offensive immediately because WE ARE TIRED OF YOUR USELESS whining, complaints and empty threats!

PoliticsNigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by CyberG(op): 1:53am On Mar 25, 2012
Being away for a while and back, I am not particularly surprised that the rhetorics of daily political exchange, especially, along inter-tribal lines has not improved but gotten worse! One bone of contention is the Civil War of 1967-1970 and it was previously established that less than 0.0001% of NLanders at that time ever saw the war or experienced it. Unfortunately, it appears that the rather "gracious" ending of the war of "no victor, no vanquished" is now the Achilles Heel of most young Nigerians who are very impressionable and refused to learn the facts or reflect deeply about Nigerian history.

To be more specific, and I think this is necessary, the Ibos are upset about the loss and their losses in the war. I can understand that losing millions of lives in war even losing a single loved one is hard! Well, lives were lost from both sides of the conflict. This is sad but lets face it, war is not a PS3 or XBOX game where you gain lives, or die and yet still live even when you refuse to jump or shoot or accumulate points to give you "extra life". I was not alive at that time myself but curiosity and passion for war history propelled me to read multiple literature not of only the Civil War but many others. The Ibos were not neutral parties to the war as the conflict of the war started way back before Nigerian Independence and when the, majorly, Ibo coup of January 1967 wiped out political leaders from every other tribe while that of the Ibos were tipped off to escape, it was obvious that a little rattle snake had been hatched! In fact certain accounts posit that the war of July 1967 started just after the coup of January 1967.

All said and done, the war ended graciously with Gowon's declaration end of the war as "no victor, no vanquished". This of course was to help the mending process after the war, for brothers had killed each other and this was aimed at helping the re-building process. However, years after, it appears that most NL Ibos who never saw the war did not know that in war with a non-brother enemy, everything goes down to the wire until the wire is destroyed. When Hitler's offensive finally ground to a halt during the second world war, and the initiative returned to the Allies, the Germans fled. Hitler tried to negotiate a cease fire, what happened? The Russians levelled Berlin, so badly they bombed everything to oblivion - humans or non-humans. The Russian Army raped all the German women they found and killed everything, not taking prisoners! Ha. . .so sad but guess what? The German women said, it was better to fall into the hands of the Russian rapists than to have the Americans over their heads! They did not stop until Germany was totally defeated!

Was Nigerian leadership wrong at that time to stop a fight among brothers and bring it to the quickest end and declare they did not want to be "victors" and their were "no vanquished" (losers)? Today, most Ibos abuse every non-Ibo who has a different point of view. They insult an entire group of people who does not support their position. There are many on this site and they have been bragging for a long time they want to split their country. How long will you people make this noise and do nothing? Be sure that other people in Nigeria are so sick they are tired of being kept down too. But if you will abuse people who let you live among them, take advantage of economic opportunities, live in peace, etc and you still insult and abuse them, what do you really want? Should Nigeria just have a rematch of the war with Biafra and there shall be no graciousness since you have spurned every iota of gracefulness, goodwill, peaceful co-existence, that has been extended to you? This crying and blaming the northerners, the westerners, the minority tribes that "sabotaged" Biafra and some that don't agree with you causing all this tribalistic nonsense needs to stop. Otherwise, meet the Nigerian military (including true Ibos) who see Nigeria's problems for what it is: corruption, money, partisan politics on the field of battle. Remember that in 1967, the composition of the Armed Forces was lopsided tribally but a more even balance now. Yet, you lost then and if you will not take this fight to Nigeria within the next week, cover your tribal face in shame and go eat a cookie! tongue tongue NLand is tired of tribalists and this "Comment is Hidden" is the only one thing that this new NL has as a plus!

CultureRe: European Languages Are Killing African Languages by CyberG: 5:00am On Mar 23, 2012

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgNsvnN-IGc&feature=g-all-u&context=G20df38cFAAAAAAAAWAA

It is stupid how so many African countries speak a European language instead of their native language. The only country that speaks their language is Tanzania which is KiSwahili. I think that since most African countries speak European languages, we might as well switch to a common African language. My guess would be KiSwahili since it is the most widely spoken. YES English is important to learn and we can learn it but our official languages should be KiSwahili. The Arabs have Arabs, us Africans should have KiSwahili.

Do you think this is true? What can we do about it?
First, your premise is a generalization. If you live or move to a country where 80-90% of the people you meet everyday speak a different language, would you expect them to learn your language or you learn theirs? English is widely spoken not because people want to forget their native languages but because hundreds of years ago, there was a British Empire whose sphere of influence covered about a quarter of the planet and could project its power because of its superior technological, industrial, financial and military might. Has Nigeria been able to agree to stop ordinary tribalism among their tribes talk less of building just one armored tank or claim a major technological invention? So, how can you expect Africans to project any kind of power enough to make people want to move to your countries and just learn your language?

Since the British Empire lost their dominant super power status after the second world war, needing the help of the Americans to not only stem Hitler's offensive to capture Europe after taking huge losses, the huge financial resources to rebuild their country, etc they have ever since not fiddled out of world wide dominance or have they? Even Nigeria that was supposedly prosperous in the 60s, 70s and early 80s have succeeded in being mismanaged and run into the ground with corruption and violence everywhere, is this how foreigners will come to learn your language?

Finally, it is simply BS to suggest that Africans don't speak their language! Privileged kids who went to "Americanized" schools in Nigeria and spoke better English since little kids have not forgotten how to speak their Nigerian language at all and I am one! Since then, I learned Hausa when I lived in Northern parts of Nigeria, Igbo when I lived in the East and of course ex-girlfriends wink, now it is French and maybe later German - yet I have not forgotten any one word of my Nigerian language! I speak English which such a foreign accent yet I am totally Nigerian and even if I don't hear everything in other Nigerian languages, I can get by plus I speak pidgin and understand perfectly! So what is your point? So, does learning new subjects or specializing in one area make you forget the one you knew previously?

This generation of ignorance is surely a wasted generation! People who have NO IDEA of what happened during the civil war which they never saw have become experts after listening to a few tales in secondary school, in the beer parlor and liars like Dede, Onlylies and did I see Okija Juju now also turned a tribalist? Too bad, I have no time these days to read and post on Nairaland but the real smart ones here should go and dig the history of the war from multiple sources not a self-pitying tale from someone who is neither omnipresent or had enough sense to read the entire story of what happened! It is sad that old balding men like dedenson has refused to kick the bucket and is still poisoning the waters for the little ones! Someday, I will have some more time to show you the error of your ways o foolish, tribalistic and hateful generation of modern day Nigeria! It is sad that most of you do not live in Nigeria, have not traveled or lived in different places in Nigeria and everything bad is due to another tribe that is not your own!

This is why top companies like Microsoft, Google, etc hire Program Managers whose job is to design products that their customers will love and buy almost forever! I know Seun and his crew may not know this or why these companies spend 100,000's for one PM! Programming skills are useless if your customers hate your product! A good and smart solution is to have the new site in beta version to gauge feedback. Yahoo and Google do this whenever they make changes to their site. If you must change the internals like databases, keys, etc just leave the interface Babe am done u can call me now like the old one and make incremental changes due to feedback. Or how hard is that?

gists:
And then what? What have we gained. All our sons and daughters working in such coys will suddenly become jobless. All the families living in houses built by foreigners will suddenly become homeless all just because of our ego. Is dia any guaranty that other regions will destroy our assets with them? I'm tempted to say the biafrans will not subscribe to this notion.

My wife will suddenly become an expartraite in Lagos even though she can count the number of times she's been to her village on her fingers (that will be nice because I'll then be her manager/agent at her new expartraite mama-put buka. I'll tell her to go for lessons in her native soup as new biz opportunity is about to show  grin grin grin grin grin). Or I'll be a black expartaite in SHELL in the Niger Delta. Ohhhh I can't wait
Gist. . .note that I made my comments with good intentions of forestalling another "Nigeria". I am one of perhaps a few young people who have easily been to and lived in very many places in Nigeria and yes, I love everyone! SS, SE, MB, North, etc. Look at my posting history for I think I have done a decent job of trying to tone down the usual high-flying tribalism against different peoples of Nigeria but it appears people will not change or quit or just live a normal life without bigotry and tribalism. If all parts of Nigeria get again and again is insult, abuse, tribal targetism, etc; would you wish to live or have your kids live in this kind of environment? Do you know that for a cancerous patient who has to lose a body part in order to stem the spread of cancer, it is a tough decision but must be done?

While it would have been nice to have camaraderie, fellowship and brotherhood in a "New Nigeria", it is obvious some people think they have a point to prove, therefore they slag off everyone else. This cannot be acceptable and it is at the root of Nigeria's problem starting a long time before now and very germane part of what started the pogroms and war of the 1960s. Should Nigeria break, no region needs to be "politically correct" anymore - we must go the whole hog and yes, it will be tough but this is how there can be peace in the new regions. When "foreign" businesses leave, they will more than be ably replaced by other businesses run and owned by ancestral natives of the land ONLY and while people who are far remote from Nigeria may invest in the regions then and own a minority stake of a business, giving this privilege to close "Nigerians" will see "foreigners" shipped-in in large numbers creating another Nigerian problem. People will try every trick by changing their names, trying to marry a native landowner, etc and before you know it, everyone is back to square one! So, let everyone go to their real father's land and let us make it clear that we all can actually survive and it is BS for anyone to think he owns 90% of every part of Nigeria.
