Politics › Re: SE And SS Unity Is The Key To Fight The Sponsored Yoruba Protest In SW by CyberG: 9:56pm On Jan 15, 2012
SR's reportage is so brutally frank! It goes without saying that Jonze-a-thon is merely pandering to ethnic sentiments which is unprecedented in Nigeria. A sitting president ignores the people's legitimate protests and uses the services of militants to perpetuate illegality. I know most other people from Nigeria will not forget. There are lots of peoples from different parts of Nigeria who have fought for the rights of the NDeltans when the military clamped down on them, and I was one of those people. Jonagoat became president by the struggle of parts of Nigeria that are now being demonized. Most of the northerners in Yaradua led by Turai did not want the mumu-looking Jonzer as president and the SNG was led largely by people from the SW. It's a shame on ungrateful, narrow minded, and tribalistic people.

You're funny. . .all to defend your Jonathan president, you seek to discredit SR that has achieved way more than Jonagoat who scammed Nigerians into thinking luck can run the country?

SR broke the news of the bought verdict that affirmed Yar'Adua's election a day before it was announced, did you know that?
SR last week published ahead of time, the mumu president broadcast before it aired on TV screens, yet you still seek to discredit them? See http://saharareporters.com/press-release/jonathan-sticks-his-gun-give-another-national-broadcast-deregulation-downstream-petrol

I guess retardeen's apologists think people don't know the facts.

Deep Sight:
Pardon me. The Jonathan sycophants on this forum are quite simply out of this world. Perhaps they are all Beaf using multiple I.Ds
Whenever you see MOST NL posters with < 200 posts or recently registered, you would know they are paid hacks like beaf and tribal militants who got this drunk fisherman into power.

PointB:
Bakare had once wished death on the president if he does not reverse the subsidy removal. Shouldn't he be made to offer some explanations?

Beyond that, arresting any of those goons is no big deal. Just that at the moment there is no real reason to arrest them all. But Bakare has a case to answer.

@cyberG, only hypocrite see every comment from tribal lens.
PointB, IgbobuIgbo, etc with your multiple IDs is the LEAD tribalist on NL. Almost every other post of yours is tribalistic in support of your tribe and blind to see that life exists for not only one tribe or one point of view.

Rad1cal:
Please go and take your drugs embarassed
Funny thing is Bakare with SNG allowed this dumb Bottom the chance to get even close to Turai to become president. He was so cowed, he had no answer due to his non-existent brains. Now, he orders arrest of people who he can't put a light to their intelligence? Lawyers who know the law and know they have a constitutional right to protest if they disagreed? Jona-goat cannot arrest any of his corrupt bastard friends including corrupt Adoke, Maduekwe or Iweaala but people who will eat him alive in any debate?

The EFCC has not done anything since the days of Ribadu since Jona-dense must be NUMBER ONE to be arrested for corruption, human right violation and systematic killings of Nigerians without doing anything yet people are supporting him because he is their tribesman SE, SS?? Oh well, we'll see.

Deep Sight:
^^^ And wishing the president dead is treasonable? Are you sure everything is ok over there?
Death is too minimal to wish him, how many Ibos, Yorubas, Hausas were killed last year through his BH? 500+ and he did nothing but Nigerians should live with it. Is his one useless life better than 500+ that he sacrificed? People who actually work to survive and not steal the country blind? I think you should be asking yourself the question if everything is alright with how narrow tribalism colors the views of most Ibos and his tribesmen. This is when someone in the army should just stop the bloodshed by sacrificing the goat-brain president to the birds of the air and the hyenas of the forest.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Orders Arrest Of Bakare, Falana, Melaye, Others by CyberG: 8:17pm On Jan 15, 2012

He has no cause to order the arrest of 'some' of those men. That said, arresting them is no big deal.

TREASON!! Bakare has been doin dat wif all the imf accusations n more
Wily1Wily:
very nice, Jonathan should arrest those Stuupid Yoruba guardians of Yoruba Fraudsters, Ugly Kekere Bakere failed fake Prophet that specialize in ripping his congregation off.
PointB, Revolt, WilyWily: The only REASON why it is OKAY for Jonathan to arrest these people is because he is NOT your tribe, right? Some NL Igbos, the usually selfish and self-centred BIGOTS, complain and scream about injustice when you feel you are on the receiving end but when you think you people are doing it to someone else, it is FINE and dandy?

^ Time to start growing your own fruits, spices and meat since most NL people from the SE and SS like to abuse these people. Me too I am tired but I don't have subsidy, fruit or spice buying problems but just the stress of bad news from that country! When will it divide finally so everyone can go only to their father's land? We don't want any non-native especially the most arrogant and troublesome people of current Nigeria and they should go with all their houses, money and family! Let that place just divide and you can have your president from Otuekwe.

Yaradua as bad and slow as he was have exceeded Jonathan even while dead! While he probably didn't have good health for 6 months straight, he still beat the foolish deadluck Jonagoat! Politics › Re: Boko Haram Kills 4 Igbo Traders trying to flee from Yola by CyberG: 7:34am On Jan 13, 2012
Dede1:
The amalgam of my political philosophy towards Nigeria was shaped by the causes and battles of Nigeria/Biafra civil war. I have never and will never believe in the unity of Nigeria or the phantom known as one-Nigeria.

There are no bases for unity in Nigeria because of distinct cultural orientations among different ethnic groups that share territories within Nigeria. Ndigbo will never engage in acts of wanton destruction of lives or properties belonging to other ethnicities leaving among them in Igbo land on the pretence that rigged elections in Nigeria did not pan out according their wishes.

Even if Ndigbo jump onto reprisal attacks by killings innocent Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri who seek means of livelihood in Igboland, it will not change a thing. There have been such silly and senseless attacks and counterattacks which had resulted in lost of lives before now and yet nothing changed in Nigeria with respect to ethnic relationship as it affacts religion, culture and polity.

Any massive retaliatory measure undertaken by Ndigbo in order to settles scores with idiotic Boko Haram without creating a national boundaries between both sides shall remain a waste if time because we shall come back to it again since there will be more elections in Nigeria and definitely will not go according to the wishes of certain folks.

Based on the irreconcilable differences among ethnic groups in Nigeria, I have adamantly and resolutely concluded Nigeria’s political solution lies in the simple act of disintegration.
Dede. . . it's your nemesis calling! tongue tongue grin grin I gave a suggestion and you extremist folks say I am not "Igbo" enough, I should confirm my tribe, etc? Okay, no problem. On this same NL, you people have upped the ante on war and violence and while I and others tried to speak objectively, you are the leader of the tribal fight. Well, the war you have been calling for is now nigh and the gauntlet has been thrown, so pick it up and I want to see you lead from the FRONT! You will now see that war is not a piece of cake and the violence will far exceed 1967-1970. I don't want to give more advice because I know it will only end-up with you and your marauding tribal warriors abusing and insulting every contrary opinion.
Politics › Re: To All Igbos In Nigeria! by CyberG: 7:13am On Jan 13, 2012
1. So bad the killings continue and when suggestions are made people say someone should keep away from the affair, why? It is is Jona-daft's job, who you voted en-masse to protect you and every Nigerian, yet he cannot and will not because he is too stupid and it's very bad judgement on the part of people who voted for him and such judgment can clearly not be trusted.

2. In this current world, no one, no country can survive on their own or better without key partners. However, most times people here brag about how you are "individual", "no king", "no leaders" etc, which is funny because if you lived on my own side of the world, you will NEVER be hired even if you are a super-genius and you are a so-called "individual who doesn't need anybody else".

3. Another thing to be pointed out is this: why is it that the Westerners, Mid-West, SS, etc who let you rent their land, give you economic opportunities without killings, etc only get abuse in the end day-in, day-out? Lagos is the historical home of the SWesterners and when they allow you to come in there, after eating too much akpu, people resort to abusing the people who are your perpetual source of support and succor in times like these, why?
Politics › Re: Our Demand #occupynigeria by CyberG: 7:27am On Jan 12, 2012

Onlytruth:
I totally agree with all the bolded. ENCLAVE it is folks!
If we have 4 million Igbos in Northern Nigeria, I wonder why we can't raise a 500,000 man army there to defend ourselves if and when the jungle matures. What are all the people there doing if they cannot fight and defend themselves there? They should relocate if they can't fight there. I support the idea of funding their return too.
If only we have real leaders in Igboland. Well, time will tell.
Reading NEWS like this makes me BOIL, how CURSED can a government be that it won't PROTECT its citizens? The killings of any Nigerian and IGBO by Boko Haram in the North or anywhere is totally unacceptable and it pains me to say it MUST stop because it SHOULD HAVE STOPPED A LOOONGGG TIME AGO! Yes, I am MAAAD and I will personally kill that USELESS PRESIDENT that has sacrificed over 500+ Nigerians to BH alone in 2011!

Onlytruth, PointB, Olodostein, and all good hearted Nigerians:

I made a simple proposal but a difficult one to implement and it remains, in my opinion, a far more effective way to curb this endless killings! How many people will be sacrificed by this evil government? Yes, Igbos should come home but stopping at that is REALLY UNFAIR to those who are dead! For every one IGBO (or southerner) killed by BH or anyone on the basis of religion or ethnicity, we must kill at least a DOZEN starting with the kingpin who is financing these BH operations. So, to Onlytruth and co, a winnable war takes immense planning and resources that can be drawn upon inexhaustibly and strategies that are fool proof and then factor in the theatre of the war (fought in the homeland or on the foreign soil)? An outright war is a BAD DECISION and we can talk more about that but I think there is a BETTER OPTION: a strong, small and focused army maintained on the homeland but deployed to kill all the bastards killing Southerners, christians and a larger proportion of IGBOS. If this can be done, any useless government unable to protect its citizens will have no one to blame but themselves. Yes, I am aware this is a double-edged sword but there remains no other way to stop this violence! I think one of the most useful "weapons" Israel has is the Mossad and it past time focused regional leaders setup this kind of organization.

Afterall, most Nigerians generate their own power, provide their own power, worry about their own security, get no help from government for education, no healthcare funding and YET, they still get killed trying to make money to provide these things I listed and MORE!? Abeg, this is madness and if I was anywhere close to this foolish government, it is better to sacrifice all of them <100 compared to >500 killed only by BH, without counting sickness, armed robbers, road accident, police, etc! So, if anything must be funded, I think we must seriously think about this option first. It is faster, require less resources, enough will power for combat forces to get the job done! I made a post previously about it and if anyone has anymore ideas, that will be good but I am SO TIRED of reading about all the killings when these fools are only busy stealing MONEY and more money!

. . .Continued. . .

Like I have said before, when Nigeria breaks, I think my Igbo friends would accept that for the sake of collective good, every one should just stay apart. In the virtual world, we may still connect and communicate as we must avoid another NIGERIA. Bello, Zik and Awolowo had a grand chance to save us the headache of today and while some of those 3 wanted a different arrangement of "Nigeria", we know how we ended up with all these troubles. So, in the face of a break-up, their shall be VERY clearly marked and divided countries and things like I was born in Kano, Owerri, Port-Harcourt, Lagos, Kaduna, etc will be totally irrelevant for people's lineage shall be traced by CONCLUSIVE DNA analysis to know if they belong or not. I think it would be good idea to put clear physical and legal markings between the East, Mid West and West and other places in the new countries. Every non-native must leave within 2 - 4 weeks with everything they possess - house, cars, business, relatives, kids and what not. Houses can be moved these days and there are lots of ideas on Discovery Channel.

In the new countries, there shall be no temporary or permanent resident visas because this WILL be abused and then, all the relatives are gradually transported back again. This is a real issue and it can be attested to by everyone in the North, East, West of Nigeria. There shall be no naturalization and being cross-married would not still give any rights in the land and an appropriate solution that takes care of this scenario might need to be created - perhaps a buffer zone in the mid west. I am sure a lot of people are tired of several problems created by parts of Nigeria and we would be happy to relate to the tribes of the middle belt, close mid west and have trade treaties with other major tribes who are far away but again, no joining at all! It would be a total waste for any tribe to be claiming that its is 90% of the population of a land it rents in another 100 years, or people being ungracious to welcoming hosts who allow them to have a life on their own land and resources, people who you treat well but still stab you in the back, complain again and again, who cannot work together with others as a team sharing both glory and blame in the spirit of true brother-hood, people who cannot work as a team but believe in so-called individualism (whereas every successful top company in the world will not hire even a genius if they know he CANNOT work together with his team and others), people who do not believe in diplomacy, common good, etc but claiming other people's lands, claiming that other people's tribes are actually a part of their own, want other people's land forcefully to gain access to the sea, etc. I am sure North, East, West, Middle Belt, Mid West are all tired of all the stress and troubles! Let us all go and develop on our own, making friends with people who truly like us rather than playing this cat and dog game forever!
Politics › Re: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by CyberG: 8:25am On Jan 10, 2012
Finally, I have time to contribute some thoughts to this debate. It is indeed a good thing that the SE (Ibo heartland) with its leaders took a position NOT to protest subsidy removal. It is their right and I don't think they should be vilified or condemned over it. They made their decision, just as it is their right and every other person must just have to live with it, so no need to complain!

However, I'd like to point out the bigger picture here and put it on record that indeed, Nigerians and its peoples are TOTALLY DIFFERENT in their core ideologies, values and beliefs. This will LAY down the marker when Nigeria finally divides and let no one be mistaken: it would be impossible and DISASTROUS to ask for unification of people with such fundamental differences. The decision is obviously a myopic, narrow-minded and not in the general interest of all (even the smaller tribes / peoples) of Nigeria but in the interest of SE. That is fine, but the problem now arises when someone who puts himself ahead of others expects to be accepted into a comity of nations for the purpose of a joint destiny - this cannot be possible. In fact, with attitudes like this one, the smaller tribes on the extreme east of Nigeria (not the SE heartland) would rather wish to consider being united with people in the middle belt, mid west of far west of current Nigeria rather than cast their lots with people who have no real interest in the general good of all.

This is not politics that you vote for the hierarchy was established for a reason. When it was time to select a competent leader, people selected the dumbest bottom in the world as president.
