Okoroawusa:

Did you read her comment up there about how she and her sisters treated at their father's burial?

Mr doubter..
Is she the Ada of the family? What are you even saying here? So she should find a canopy and sit-down, then who will attend to the guest? Are those the qualities of a good host? I'm the only son of my family, during my dad's burial i was too busy greeting guest and making sure that everyone that attended the burial was well cathered for rather than looking for a sit to sit-down and cross my legs. This even shows that she has a shallow personality all in the name of feminism. And yes you just confirmed my doubt, you are definitely not Igbo, please represent your tribe and stop impersonating ours. Thank you.
In Igbo tradition the Umuada are the most powerful group, even more powerful than the umunna. Nobody dares go against the decision of the Umuada even the Chief and Ezes dare not go against the Umuada. Stop your ignorance and misinforming others on what you know nothing about.

She raised some valid points sha... especially on the way we treat umuada.
I seriously doubt if you are Igbo, because if you are an Igbo man, you would know the monstrous power the umuada welid.
Health / Re: Would You Receive The COVID-19 Vaccine If Offered Today? by CzarChris(m): 12:15pm On Jan 03, 2021
Baoo4eva:
It would be nice to see what nigerian feel about receiving the covid vaccine.

I have received my first jab as I work for the NHS in UK and now have to wait for the second jab as there are uncertainty about the timing of the second jab.
Would like to know if Nigerians would be happy to receive the covid vaccine and which of vaccines
A bit of a background
The WHO has given emergency authorization for the use of the pfizer/biotech vaccine meaning this would be available for use in developing countries who don't have their own internal mechanism for such decisions, Nigeria inclusive.
Also, the Astrazeneca vaccine has being approved in some countries such as the UK and recently ,India. It may well be on course for WHO to approve it , this would be a vaccine for use in developing nations as it's easier to store and transport unlike the pfizer/biotech that needs temperature of less than -70degrees.
And there are many more vaccines still in various states of trials, 49 of them are already named.
The federal government is planning to spend 400billion naira on vaccine , but it is very important to see what opinions are , if people are willing to receive the jab or not.
Studies conducted by the FDA in the USA shows that African-Americans are less likely to receive the jab with as low as 4 in 10 saying they would receive the jab.
So, would you be happy to receive the jab??
Quick question, why the haste in the distribution and mass inoculation of this vaccine? No conclusive studies have been done about it's effects both short-term and long-term. like someone pointed out earlier no HIV vaccine in the past 50years, but in less than a year BOOM!!! a vaccine for covid-19, I'm not comfortable with that at all. Then comes the issue of modifying ones DNA, mmm mmm! Thank you very much, as ancient as my DNA is, I like it like that. So they can stick their vaccine where the light doesn't shine.

What is financial responsibility compare to;
Cooking for the child,
Waking up at midnight to check on the child,
Wash the child's clothes,
Dress the child up for school.

If we should trade places and men take over domestic chores while women only bring in money, I bet most men if not all the men would faint.
I was grown up when my mum had my sister, i took maximum care of her as a baby. The way I carried my neighbors baby a few months back when she gave birth, put many mother's there to shame. There is no big deal in taking care of children, so stop this emotional blackmail it's getting old.

This paternity fraud issue is truly turning into an epidemic in Nigeria. I honestly don't curse anymore, but "woe betide any woman who brings another man's baby into my house" I should not be held responsible for my actions.

They need to get those seniors responsible and prosecute them as juvenile offenders.

The greedy thieving mother of this boy needs to forget about collecting 100m from Deeper Life.

Deeper Life must be more accountable to parents and pupils and stamp out the culture of bullying. If they can't, they should shut down the school.
This your comment was seriously okay, until you called the mother a greedy thieving mother that was totally uncalled for and unreasonable comment.

Bro,its not a misconception about ganja as per se irrespective of those named TITLES you mentioned..Mind you, weed smokers do not smoke it in moderation just like what we got from the medically refined ones maybe through drips and the rest..Just google and see the effects of STIMULANT to the neurons
It's funny when I read things like this. You talk about stimulants, CAFFEINE is a stimulant, but I don't see anybody talking about banning coffee or energy drinks. Dude I don't smoke weed, i quit weed years ago, but I still smoke cigarettes. weed. Effects of weed to the neurons? Well, google about CBD oils and get back to me.

That 1.5m is for a 50year aged cognac, na from 75years old (which is like 4.5m) 115years old we are talking over 20m for a decanter.

There are people who have this money and don't even know what to do with it. Class costs money.

How him life be? it's not easy to smoke weed and be successful.
Are you serious right now? This misconception about weed smokers is quite funny to say the least. I personally know judges, captains of industries, professors, bankers who smoke weed heavily. That you see a few touts on the road misbehaving shouldn't give you such ungodly idea that weed smokers a no do gooders in life.

@Emperormartin, leave your Dad alone, forcing him to quit smoking weed may lead to his early demise. Just pray he quits at his own time and pace.

I cannot deny being bias when it gets to the issue of homosexuality. I find it appalling, disgusting, dirty and foolish. I've had a few runnings with gays myself, when I was working in ph, those dudes need psychological evaluation. Why leave the succulent soft alluring body of a woman for that of a fellow dude, that's so unnatural and disgusting to say the least.

A Happy New Year you too!

Family / Re: Must I Fall In Love Before I Marry? by CzarChris(m): 9:54pm On Dec 29, 2020
whyteteeth:
I am 30 this year and it has always been my dream to marry @ 30 or before 30. But the truth is I haven't been able to fall in love with any woman for years now. I do have sex. And I have women in my life from time to time yet I am not in love with any of them.

Now the real issue is this, I stumbled on an article in this forum days back that says that an arranged marriage is the best meaning that without being in love with your spouse, you two can still have a successful marriage, and I have been giving it a thought.

With this premise, Should I just marry and then maybe love can grow over time or should I keep waiting till I fall in love before I marry? I seriously need your advice please..
Speaking from experience, the word "love" has lost its true meaning with our generation. With the help of nollywood, bollywood, telemundo etc. we now confuse lust with love. For me o, there is no law saying that you should marry who you love, but it's a must to love who you marry. All these head over heels love at first sight BS is simply fallacy. You appear to me as a practical man like me. So if you see some one that has a majority of the qualities you seek, go for it and learn to love her. Waiting for that butterfly feeling is like chasing a shadow.

PS: Don't wait till your 35 like me to learn this truth.

Social media aide to the president Lauretta Onochie on Wednesday labelled Channels TV anchor Chamberlain Usoh as a hater of good news, Igbere TV reports.

Mrs Onochie shared a video on Twitter of a Channels TV reporter speaking with the chairman of the Mile 12 market in Lagos.

The reporter says food prices are cheaper this year than they were last year.

Onochie, however, said the news took the “good-news-hating” Mr Usoh by surprise.
