SpicyMimi:How did they get the fund? If you don't mind me asking. I would love to have some people apply for it. |
I'm getting something like this. Soon. ![]() AMENNN!!! |
Let me put this here for posterity sake. The Nigerian government has truly won this round, if they don't consolidate on this win by providing succor to the citizenry the next round of protests won't play like this truly, "the baboons and the dogs will be soaked in blood." That's all for now. |
Sixfeetbelle:Babes relax, don't be too dramatic over my innocent comment. I get the biting sarcasm, honestly I do. But........ think am now. Some of our ladies of today have totally lost it. |
pansophist:God will surely bless you for this. Sexual freedom has destroyed our society, family values are being eroded by the second. I once read in a book, about a cohabiting couple, when the man was asked why he hasn't married his "live in lover", he simply replied"why buy the cow, when you can get the milk free?" So our ladies should continue sexualizing themselves, dem never see anything sef. |
Alexis11:Please Google that statement I made. Thank you. |
oyatainer:I hope you have have been reading the news, ASUU rejected the ₦30b EAA and asked for the revitalization fund to be increased from ₦20b to ₦110b. If ASUU was selfish, they would have accepted the EAA and we will go back to business as usual. But ASUU is fighting for everybody, but the public seems not to see it that way. I believe ASUU should just accept the EAA and forget about the university revitalization. The public will suffer it more not ASUU. |
Skynet45:This is an outrage, a government sponsored propaganda machine and brash blackmail, but no matter. So ASUU is now the villain for fighting for proper and dignified educational environment don't forget ASUU is asking for 110billion naira for revitalization of the universities, this money is not for ASUU members, it's still this FG that will issue contracts to build proper infrastructure in the public universities or are we comfortable seeing pictures and videos of students sitting on the floor in over crowded lecture rooms? Don't get me started on the lack of basic laboratory equipment and reagents for the students to instruct students with. Nigerian lecturers are among the lowest paid in Africa, so to be paid what is at par with there colleagues in other places in Africa is now a crime? Look, I won't speak on this again on this platform, but if the Nigerian citizenry don't stand behind ASUU to win this battle, then our public education in Nigeria is totally finished. The present academics won't loose out, considering that Nigerian academics are highly sort after outside the shores of this country(what with the introduction of professional visa by the UAE). At the end of the day, the children of the poor will suffer it. And what's very amazing is the speed at which this article will spread all over the country today, because it's government sponsored. Our nairaland Mods, I greet o!!! |
Depressed101: ph my second home. Na sense person dey take waka for Port Harcourt ooo. If you do anyhow, you see anyhow. ![]() |
Temitopemo6e6:Why is Rivers State not on this list? Abeg remove Delta State, na jaguda dem sabi, Warri no dey carry poof person like that. |
Ceenelly:This a very wrong interpretation of this whole article, the universities most times needs experts in certain fields that it's scarce to find people in. I know of a certain Dr. that retired as a General Manager in one of the IOCs. That man is a living walking encyclopedia of the oil industry, he was already pensioned by the IOC he retired from, so he was employed as a contract staff to impart knowledge on the students and he is also mentoring some of us in the system. And that is just one example in many. So please take it easy. |
Can't these people just let the dead rest in peace? Haba!!! |
Dpsychologist:Transiting in and out of omo and rich. No ask me how, just go with the flow. Life and times of a risk taking businessman. ![]() But in all God has been faithful. |
Kobojunkie:I was honestly having a good read and hoping to engage in a meaningful banter with you, because nobody can say he/she is a fountain of knowledge, but your last paragraph simply threw me off. Thanks for the insults though, have a great day. Thank you. |

Triton1996:All these online propaganda and blackmail is really getting on my nerves. I'm from Imo North (Okigwe Zone) if anybody is telling you that the people are concerned about Senator Araume's emergence is honestly being economical with the truth. On Okigwe Zone suffering unemployment, poor infrastructure etc. when he was a senator really makes me wonder the kind of mindset our people have. Is it the work of the legislature or executive to provide these amenities you mentioned there? The job of the legislature is to make laws and the last time I checked there is still division of power in government. What you should say is what did he use his influence to attract during his stay in the Red Chambers? Atleast I know about a road he attracted from Anara through Aba Branch. Another question you should ask is what bills did he sponsor during his stay in the senator and what was the benefit to the masses, not this cheap blackmail. NOTE: The days of blackmailish propaganda as a means of discrediting a candidate is gone. If you want to discredit a candidate, please be constructive and don't appear desperate. Thanks. |
This woman is incorrigible. Godforbid!!! |
interesting |
BlueAngel444:Psalms 103:14(KJV) says"For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust." God knows our frame and our capabilities, what we can endure our breaking point. It's like asking a fish, a cow, a Lion, a sheep, a snail and a monkey to climb a tree. Does that even seem fair by a long shot? God has our structure and will never allow us to be tempted/tried beyond our breaking point. 1 Corinthians 10:13(KJV) says "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." That's why you can't ask God to give you the dimensions of his spirit he gave to someone else, because you don't know the dealings God had with that person in the first place before he started manifesting the dimensions of God he is manifesting. |
Truvel:There's no way this is different, the Bible says in James 1:3(KJV)"Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." So trials are a must for every true Christian. The five offices apportioned in the Bible Ephesians 4:11(KJV)"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" all these have there own measure of trials, but none has any trial higher than the other. By saying that one is more importance than the other, your indirectly calling God unjust which can never be. So I pray you get over any form of trials you are currently facing. You don't have to be a prophet to face trials and temptations, as far as you are a true Born Again Christian, you will have your own bag of scars for the Gospels sake. NB: I'll say you have a great mind and the Holy Spirit lit a fire inside you and your portion in the kingdom was downloaded as that of a prophet, I think you've seen a thing or two that makes you get scared, but I believe you need a mentor to tutor fully on the ways of the Lord. Remember, "God's will can never take you to a place where his Grace will not be there to guide and protect you. Stay strong." |
Interesting, very interesting. |
HenryThegreat1:The cluelessness of this government is truly painful to watch, honestly. How on Earth did we get this low? |
Truvel:Bros calm down.... be calming down ![]() The trial of your faith and the searing of your flesh is not exclusive to those in the office of the prophet. As a bloodwashed Born Again Christian, you will go through trials that are meant to kill your flesh particularly your pride, the enemies will truly fight you with all there arsenals because as a Born Again Christian, you've joined the ranks of soldiers of the Lord. So trials are not exclusive to prophets. |
Kobojunkie:If Job is not a prophet because he was from Mesopotamia, what about Balaam(Numbers 22)who was also from Pethor that was close to the Euphrates river in Mesopotamia? and yes Job prophecied about the Messiah in Job 9:33 where he asked for a mediator/arbiter between him and God. "So with these points of mine I hope I was able to convince you that Job as a matter of fact, was a prophet." ![]() |
VAR please!!! ![]() ![]() The diving get as e be sha. But seriously, that linesman was totally unprofessional. |
Kwanza:I'm no APC fan, but Senator Ifeanyi Ararume all the way. Senator Araume is truly a Lion. |
Arrewa:Guy calm down. Do you hate Igbos to the point of using Enugu and Anambra States as an example to drive home your points? This is very wrong, the more tribalistic we are in this country the more of a laughing stock we make our selves to the outside world. Abeg, these are totally unnecessary. Thanks. |
Mammy market that year . Honestly, your true character comes out during NYSC, especially during the orientation camp. NYSC is practically the first time many young adults experience real freedom. So many are permitted to go a bit crazy, hence the misbehaving and apparent lack of planning by many. Don't take life too seriously, enjoy yourself. But also remember to flex with sense. ABEG!!! |
Honestly, 5G is welcomed idea. Atleast, it will improve our digital economy, and I have plans for that next year, God willing. Please people should relax there's absolutely nothing wrong with 5G health wise. The radiation needed before you body can get ionized(the radiation packing enough frequency to liberate an electron from an atom) which is the danger factor is like 100x higher than that of the 5G. The fuss should be with the intended use of the technology. |
blesskewe:Great is thy faithfulness Fight the Good Fight I could not do without thee Rock of ages clift for me. Old rugged cross On higher ground Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all. Courage brother, do not stumble. etc |
