Hey! Attention seeker. angry angry angry angry angry
You've gotten my attention, will you guys die a strange, painful, excruciating unexplained death if you just the igbos alone? Haba!!! Na wetin sef? There is no day I come on nairaland without one yoruba man starting a thread for the sole purpose of insulting igbos. O wu di gini? angry
You've guys should face your lives and leave igbos alone for crying out loud.

I personally am not in support of these biafra agitation here and there, but with the kind of bigotry and hatred being expressed against my kinsmen, I am being forced to believe that truly we don't have anything to do with other Nigerians, especially the yoruba people.

Nwakodo or something from Chemical engineering department) till this day. We(I especially) read everything that he taught and even covered his course outline, but he brought out questions that appeared to be from another galaxy like andromeder. angry angry angry angry angry

PoliticsRe: Throwback: Sani Abacha At His Birthday Celebration by CzarChris(m):
hero2000:
All kinds of comments on nairaland sha! But it seems you prefer military govt. I'll ask you few questions:

Do you think engaging the people in their own affairs is good for a country?
Don't you think a military govt is susceptible to coups and counter coup?
Don't you think a govt that has 4 guaranteed years to plan and work is better than a govt that is not sure to be there next week?

Finally, would you say because your car has problems and needs repairs, you would trek to Abuja from Lagos?

That last question is sarcastic and intentionally so. Let us work on fixing our democracy rather than wishing for something that make us start complaining 4 weeks into it.
people like you are the ones I like sharing ideas with. I never said I liked military governments and there constant coups. All I advocate for is that the experiment with Western style democracy is a failure. I personally don't like draw soup it makes me puke, but because you say it makes you healthy, you want to push it down my throat? Never!
Nigeria for example is so diverse that a yourbaman may not see it as polite to question the instructions of an elder(just speculating), but Igbo tradition gives every grown man the opportunity to have his voice heard and even counter the orders of an elder where he finds it demeaning (still speculating).
Now you want to bring all these different groups of people under an umbrella called democracy where you and I know that all will give a sentimental vote based on ethnicity (case in point the last election results) .
My simple opinion all groups should sit down and find a form of government that suits everybody. Cause believe it or not these people we borrowed this form of government from (which they know will keep causing rancour among us) are benefiting from our troubles, defence companies have to sale their products, foreign refineries need the cheapest crude oil, foreign companies love to buy our raw materials at the cheapest rates, cos while you fight they steal you blind.

Only a madman tries the same thing twice and expects different results, in my opinion Nigeria is actually displaying symptoms of being stack-raving mad.

It's wonderful, seeing a deranged boy, who was clearly brought up in a brothel by a 2bit love-vendor with his cursed spermatozoa and a hoe with a maggot ridden cvnt, judging from your choice of words of course, coming on here to claim enlightened. You clearly lack home training, and you keep on moving round NL, seeking attention.

I don't need to debase myself further by accenting to the puss that comes out of that tiny contraption you call a brain, no need to reply you're proud display of foolishness. Go get a life rather than looking for people to insult on NL.

Reply if you want, I ain't gonna see it.

uracocksucker:
Did you say relative peacehuh Guess you was a boy back when Abacha was alive as you cannot recall the number of people that died (were actually killed) for no justifiable reason. If you know of, or is related to one of 'em slain hero's you will not open your gob to voice such a ridiculous notion. Same goes for all those rulers you mentioned . #FUCKINGPISSTAKE
I don't go about throwing insults with every kid that has access to Android phones that probably doesn't belong to him. Well, abacha in all his fallings maintained the exchange rate to the dollar at 80naira, he never increased PMS more than 15naira. Yes nigeria was going through though times, but recall it was mainly because of sanctions placed on Nigeria by the International community. So Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Congo DR etc. that the loss of millions of lives would have been avoidable had the citizens of those countries been allowed to rule in their own way and not being influenced by outside interfaces.
You can't cross my fence and come into my house to tell me how to rule my home. Of course I will revolt against you.
That 1914 amalgamation is one of the soar parts in the history of Nigeria, why? Because someone from England thought it was a great idea to join a group of diverse people to be one, and you expect peace?

Liberate yourself from mental slavery, nothing good can ever come from the western world to developing countries.
Who is/was the hero of democracy that died truly for liberty and never connected to some adverse motives?

I am entitled to my opinion and so are you, never insult me in any thread again or else, I go change am for you.

I've said this before, and I will say it again. This democracy abi democrazy this westerners brought to us as the best form of governance is a big failure. Africans and the Middle East have a different form of governance that suits us. Look at African countries and the Middle East, any nation that has a "Democratic leadership", they are either fighting wars or killing via ethnic or religious sentiments. But during the totalitarian reign of Gaddafi, Sadam, Abacha, Mobutu etc. Those countries had relative peace. But look at those countries now since "democracy" angry angry angry angry angry angry

to be totally honest with you, I don't think I have. Even if I did, that sector is soo saturated right now that to work there you'll need a well above average grade degree result and short courses, such as HSSE, NEBOSH, QA/QC, welding, drilling, etc. to atleast have a fighting chance.

Goodluck.

I was smiling as I was going through the tread smiley. PoliticsRe: Why Is Everybody Obsessed About The Igbos by CzarChris(m): 11:02pm On Jun 13, 2016
Bro the thing tire me ooo! I believe it's just frustration, the haters in Nigeria, keep doing everything possible to keep the igbos down, but they still can't understand how we keep breaking barriers, creating wealth where it seems impossible to do so.

They leveled our lands during the Civil War, yes we are now suffering the effects through erosion, but igboland is practically the most developed part of this country.

Personally, I am not in support of secession. Think of it my brothers, psalms 23:5 says that "thou prepareth a table before me, in the presence of my enemies". An enemy has to be present to witness my success. Let the haters eat their hearts out with envy, while we soar.

PoliticsRe: EFCC Seizes Diezani's Asokoro House, $2m Worth Of Furnishings, Bulletproof Gym by CzarChris(m): 4:48pm On Jun 13, 2016
oweniwe:
Diezani was a billionaire before she became petroleum minister. She was a director at shell....

People like that are used to living in opulence. If you buy N100,000 bottle of wine, but to people like Diezani, N100,000 is like N1,000.

I'm not defending her if she stole... But as an ex shell director, I don't expect her to be living in GRA or wear N10,000 neck lace.

Those quoting me apparently don't know Diezani ' s background or Diezani ' s family before she got married?

She was born with silver spoon to the family of Chief Frederick Abiye and Mrs Beatrice Oyete Agama in the garden city of Port Harcourt and grew up in the Shell Camp where she schooled....

The young Miss Agama studied Architecture in England and then at the renowned Howard University in the United States where she graduated. She later obtained an MBA from Cambridge University. She worked at Shell, following in her father’s footsteps, and rose to become its first female Director.

Diezani was never middle class....

Did she become shell director in a day? She rose through the ranks... That's not less than 15 years service ...

If someone works for shell for 15 years and is still middle class, the person is very stuupid.

I know many teachers who have personal enterprises on the side... Army folks run private security firms... I'm sure Diezani, in addition to working at Shell had her own oil servicing firm(s)

To cap it, her husband retired as Rear Admiral...

And you expect her to be middle class or remain in same house she lived ten years ago.

The fact that someone lives in a rented flat as secondary school teacher doesn't mean he should remain in that flat as lecturer or VC

She's not as rich as Dangote but she's not as "poor " as a civil servant either
My brother most Nigerians have been so fvckked by poverty, that anybody that has a dime more is seen as a thieving bastarrd. Agreed, she must have had so underhand dealings while in office, but the lady was already on money before going into politics. Husband - a retired rear admiral(former military adminstator), father a retired SPDC staff, Dieziani former director SPDC, former minister for transport under obasanjo. What the hell are you all ranting about? She is not guilty until otherwise proven by a court of law. Y'all should just stop been sanctimonious.
