PAGAN 9JA:Nobody is worshipping any man here. Maybe you don't know we're solely created to worship Someone who is divine and created all things. Yes I call it abuse because when a man failed to realise this defined responsibility, he goes ahead and worship something created by the Creator. It is of a debased mind to worship mere objects and idols that cannot hear or talk, and far below what man is made of. |
So many atheist on this forum, anyways, it's blasphemous and an abuse of humanity to conclude we landed here by some evolutionary/scientific processes. If you claim there is no God, why do we have natural and artificial things? If man actually evolved from apes, why do we still have monkeys dying as monkey without turning to human being in our zoo today? Science failed to explain the Seven Wonders of the world, metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, chemical formula of sperm fluid, principle behind rainfall and snow at the same location at different seasons of the year. Science failed to identify the source of wind, power of the sun etc. And you said there's no God? You know what, the fact that you don't see the air you breath doesn't mean air doesn't exist, so also the fact that you can't see God doesn't mean He doesn't exist! |
You guys are mixing things up. When you talk about a relationship, you're not yet 100% sure of becoming one, at such stage I don't expect any one to give anything at all, aside commitment, care, respect, and passion. No matter how rich the guy or the lady is, they should both leave expensive gifts and much cash out of the relationship. It's not about finding the right person, it also means being the right person. If the man or woman is not whole, their one and one cannot become one in future. |
Annoying things? I take Lagos as a true representation of Nigeria, because one thing is sure but God forbid:if the whole Lagos is fenced and bombed today, every family in other parts of the country will mourn! Eko o ni baje o! |
4llerbuntu: lets compare: GOTV stations vs startimes stations of the same genre PLS FEEL FREE TO CORRECT, ADD AND SUBTRACT FROM THE LISTSecondin you.. The solution Startimes offered for the NEPA wahala is the weekly recharge card at 300 naira and 500 naira for two weeks and 1k for one month. MultiChoice will never put assorted stations on GoTv, or else they want to close the rain-threatened dish business. GoTV has been in Ibadan since January, but Startimes has fully gained ground as far back as October 2010 |
I'm busy working on a general write-up for the Spatial stuff. You know it involves a lot of drawing of lines and shapes, so kindly bear with me. |
Seems to me like the people that carry out this posting thing are the real BH - they are the real people who forbids education, by looking for was to reduce those who have completed their education. How do you console a single mother whose child didn't die in pregnancy, day of birth, Nursery school, primary school, secondary school, till the child now finishes the university after a lot of money, pain, prayer, care have been invested in the child..and one useless bullet now waste the child's life? This people should put themselves in the position na.. |
You all forgot to mention these ones: Ero toju eru e (Passenger keep your load) Prepare to meet the Lord (usually written on old buses in Lagos) No hawking of goods in this bus. Lawyer na my job, trouble na my work. The common ones in Ibadan are: Alfa Sule..Iya Orisha..Uncle Ajala.. Strogle Continew (lol) |
naturalwaves: Hi Damilare,I didn't xpect to see those questions on diagramatics in d flourmills test.I blasted d verbal and numeric but didn't score up to 50% in d diagrams, infact I scored less than 10 % in it and dat was my undoing as I kuld not go thru cos of that. Can u pls send d study pack to my email addy so that I can practice that section well in case of nxt time.Thank u.My mail addy is ; teebee568@gmail.com.I will be xpecting and a big congrats to those who passed. The Spatial aspect of the test is the only part you're assured of scoring 100% without any doubt. It could take long to figure out but they are as easy as anything. If you need clues on how to solve some of them, kindly let me know. Cheers. |
harfolabe: @spacebaba , wt do u mean chng ur state ? Only know of redeployment ? Can u pls fill me in on d changing locations tinz ?? Wt r d requirements or how do u go about it ...please need details ...tnxThe best route to NYSC camp is to find your way to Zaria. You can easily get Tsafe bus or taxi from there. Perhaps you can't get a straight bus to Zaria, find your way to Kaduna, and from Kaduna you will get a bus to Zaria, its like 45 minutes journey. You can also get a bus to Zamfara direct from Kaduna if you're lucky. In order to avoid all this stress, go to any Cross Country office near you and make enquiries, their price may be expensive but they will surely take you straight to the camp in a very comfortable ride. If you go through Sokoto, it's like wasting of time and money because you will passing through the whole Zamfara state from Sokoto to the NYSC camp: one extreme end to the other - about 4 hours. By air, the camp is closer to Kano. By road it's closer to Kaduna/Katsina. |
Hey guys, you have nothing to worry about. Zamfara is situated in a safe part of the north, the North West. I served in the capital city from 2010 to 2011 as a Batch B corp member. Apart from the fact that male camp hostel is distant from the female hostel, there's nothing that speaks of Sharia in the state. Your safety is guaranteed in the camp and in the state, don't panic. You will only be allowed to redeploy based on two grounds: marriage and serious medical report. Don't rob yourself of this once in a lifetime experience by redeploying. Kindly identify yourself with the NCCF immediately you reach the camp, the fellowship has the biggest family house in Nigeria and that guarantees accommodation and the opportunity to meet goodly people from different part of the state. Mind you, don't forget to go with your mosquito net, bleach to wash your clothings, scrubbing brush, sunshade, garri, rope for spreading cloth, sweater, and let your all your load be in just one bag. May God protect you. |

To those who didn't receive any text message or email, I learnt 90% of those who wrote the test in first stage were not called back and nobody knows whether they'll called later or not. Ordinarilly, the second stage was supposed to be interview or another oral assessment procedure. Taking another test shows that those called are more than the company needs. It is well. Best of luck everyone. |
Sheriff19: Is their any latest For those pple dat didn't get any text..for u dat wrote d test best wishes |
To those asking for study pack, you didn't specify the particular one u need. The pack distributed here weeks ago is the likely questions for the first stage of Dragnet questions. As per the yesterday test, they are function specific tests: they're being set based on the function/section you'd selected before the test. In short, there's no study pack for the second stage because its not usual..unless when the applicants are very much. |
At times I wonder the kind of people at the helm of this country's well-being. Why can't they take a cue from the solution Prof. Soludo proffered in stabilising the banking sector by merging incompetent states in order to have a competent one? Apart from the fact new state creation is an avenue to squander more of the loot, the pdp led govt wants to use it to secure votes against 2015. |
mcstan_18: What's the source of your info friend? The mail read that the test'll run in all 3centres(Lagos, Abuja & ph) simultaneously. Better call dragnet to be on the safe side rather than have hope on spurious info. The number in the mail is 08174613680. I think this is the best thing for you to do at this time. Cheers!I got the same message. I'm writing mine on Monday at the Lagos venue. |
But what's happening to this nation, things were not this bad some few years ago? Now I can see why Lagos State wants to amend the 48year old Criminal Code of the state. Maybe 2000 naira was the maximum amount an individual can steal when Plateau State Criminal code was enacted. For those castigating the political 'dealers', they can't be punished because those offences they commit are not yet written in the nation's criminal code.lol |
Since "Mr President can rule from anywhere", I have a feeling that our president is not likely to come back.. The friendly match was probably cancelled because of the likelihood of suicide bombers turned football players or spectator. The kinds of investors we should expect are the likes of Dana Airlines.. "Nigerians should be grateful to GEJ for bringing Facebook to Nigeria" -- Labran Maku (Information Minister) |
I thought every One naira coin has 2 Fifty kobo coins packed in it..so I embarked on cracking a naira coin all to no avail until I threw it into a neighbour's pepper grinding machine and ran away. Used to think petrol goes to the tyres since vehicles don't move once their tyre is down. Remember the day I was asked at church to pronounce 'HYMN', I pronounced 'IMUN' that is 'NOSE' in Yoruba. |
That if you urinate in the river it will rain on the day you're celebrating anything. That if you whistle in the night snakes will pursue you; that Mary was holding baby Jesus in the moon a night; that if you stretch your hand for raindrops and thunder strikes, you will go lame immediately; that they're playing football at the television station showing it; that I will never finish from primary school since I've learnt numbers from 1 to 100; that when you commit an offence at home you're threatened with your uncle or aunty in school..and many more. |
