mayemaye: Both are really great phones forget benchmark scores and all that
My advice will be on the OS as I ve switched between both OS several times
Well consider these
If you transfer files alot like from pc to phone or using Bluetooth: stick with samsung cos with Iphone its stressful except you use a mac so you easily airdrop
You might want save your files to google including notes before you switch to ios
WhatsApp might not be easy to move to iphone
If you like modded or cracked APK then forget IOS
Check if your Watch or buds is IOS compatible else you might want to get new ones
Check if your fave apps are on IOS
Android is more flexible, less restrictions
But statistically speaking when Android users migrate to IOS they never come back (don't know if it's the iPhone status symbol, or maybe they were using low end Android device or if the IOS ecosystem thats responsible for this lol) Thanks. More responses please. |

Politics › Re: What Was The Greatest Lesson For You In This Election ? by damzy88: 6:14pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
Think9ja: There are so many lessons.
1. Never betray your benefactor. E.g Like what Pandora did to Atiku
2 Never hate a person because everyone hates the person. E.g Igbos against Tinubu
3 Always attack a common enemy by unity and alliances. E.g PDP and LP were not United and no alliances formed.
4.Never be too confident of victory. E g Atiku was too confident of victory
5.Never let your emotions cloud your judgements. E g nzogbu nzogbu politics didn't allow the igbos to look at the bigger picture. Now the person they love to hate is their next president.
I will drop more lessons when it gets to front page.
I like your number 5. The youths were overly emotional. |

I love naija and within africa abeg. I love to eat my cultural foods without having to do a lot work abeg. I am not againt anyone traveling. I am just talking about my self. Nigeria has wack govt and crazy masses, I know. Life is short. I can only visit other countries on vacation, I still love to see my family, my mom, my siblings, enjoy the cultural food. I have solar installed, I have power 24/7. I drive my small car fully AC, above all, ladies are so affordable here. U can get a stable side chick for as low as 20k per month and kack as u like. Life is too short to waste it.
Also, I earn online which means I can kinda cope with the naira inflation rate since I dont get paid in naira . I know naija is insecure, so, I mind how I move. I am one hater of Nigeria o. Don't get me wrong. Even if I would relocate, it would be within a more peaceful african country. I just love being around people who look like me more. I no get energy for all that cordination in white man's land. Like I said, this is my own opinion. I work hard to keep improving my dollar income online and enjoy the umu asa as much as I can. Babes cheap for here abeg. Nothing dey this life aside p*ssy and money and hopefully, live healthy if possible. I wish u all the best nne!
They also said Nigeria fit fight war. Oh, well, people in Ukraine never believed they could get into war last year. Well, it happened. The world is not predicable and death can come at anywhere. War may break out even in the least expected country.

Borgamaame: Lol...it's interesting you think I'm a bro Anyways, I digress.
I'm sorry to hear about that. People have different ways of processing relationships, especially when they move to a new place. I don't know how your relationship with your said brother and his family has been or with your family and his immediate family. However, i think you should give them time. Yes, there's an unwritten expectation that a family member that travels abroad should be on a lookout for opportunities to bring the rest of the family over or to share some good with them. However, people are different.
If you want, let's shift standpoints. Imagine you were him, you find yourself in a country where nobody looks like you. And even when you do find people that look like you, you don't even get to talk. If you don't have a stable job (with good salary and benefits), it can be hard. And one with a family, it's not easy. There's a lot of things to say but I can't tell it all. Also, I don't want to assume you or anyone close to him has billed him or complained to a point where he locked up. Again, I don't know what has transpired in the past.
I had a sister who we regularly talked. We are both in the US. She was ahead, in age and in the society. All of a sudden, she stopped communicating and responding to my messages or even calls. I was surprised! I got worried at some point because I thought she was in trouble or something. Do I know why she stopped communicating with me? Nope. What have I done? I have respected myself and stopped messaging. I put her in my prayers too. Never billed her or even complained about stuff.
Till date, she posts regularly on social media and views my stories sometimes.
All I am saying is, pray for them and work on yourself. When you stop expecting people to act in certain ways, you reduce your chances of getting disappointed by them.
Selah. You're a mature person. |

But you can only get this opportunity fully if you already have the bucks, have a big and booming business in Nigeria or overseas and if you are a corrupt Nigerian politician or the kids of a Nigerian politician. Very well said. Only few Nigerians can do what you said in the last paragraph. |

Gerrard59: Everyone cannot be an employer or entrepreneur. Nigeria that you are in has the highest number of poor people upon say people dey do side-hustle. The issues lie in buying what you don't need, having plenty of children, taking loans for non-asset generating items, not saving and investing, engaging in lots of frivolities that take your money away, not being highly skilled to earn more enormous salaries, not doing delayed gratification, keeping up with the Joneses etc. Moreover, as your earnings increase, whether as a salaried person or entrepreneur, your expense would also increase. The major advantage business owners have over salaried people is tax laws. Governments across the world generally favour entrepreneurs. Anything to pay fewer taxes is perfectly OK. Alternatively, as a salaried person, you skill-up and apply to jobs that pay in foreign currencies or countries where the income tax is very low (Singapore) or there is no income tax (the UAE).
Bills would always be paid, employee or entrepreneur. Manage your expense very well. Some of una get four children, yet una skills have not been updated to enable una earn big salary, why won't you people complain? |

Nobody stopped you from going there to see for yourself. If you can't get out of Nigeria, blame yourself not others who were successful in doing it. If you're asking her to come back to Nigeria just because you did not have the opportunity to go then it's a shame. It's a shameful mentality that has always held us back in the stone age. Held Africans back. It's a bad pull-down attitude africans exhibit in and outside Africa wherever they go. Its a plague that will never let us develop till we turn to ashes.
Winter is not a dream season, it is brutal and words cannot define it. Africans suffer from being stuck in menial jobs for ages, flogging your body on a daily just to survive with barely any savings. Life is way softer in Nigeria working corporate and all but the societal challenges have just made it inhabitable. We are forced to make a choice; enjoy a good system but suffer physically and mentally or enjoy life but live in fear of a failed system.
If Nigeria is half as good, they'll be begging us to visit Europe but the poor leadership and below-average mentality from those who continue to elect mediocres put us in this state.
Parties who should not even have the effontery to set up campaign venues are front runners for another presidential term. Smh. When the country is in total shambles and we have nowhere to escape to since they won't accept us, only then perhaps can we gain our senses that we have been on the wrong path ever since. |

Some people are just funny. Some think that there is a particular qualification that can give a guaranteed job. You still need to go through the process of adaption before whipping that degree you so much cherish to get a job. So someone with a degree in aircraft engineering will just approach an airline and they will create an opening for him even when they are not looking?
Dedicate the first three years abroad to getting your feet wet before landing a dream job. Newcomers tend to blow their progress out of proportion. That brother sending money back home as a professional in his field may be a security guard doing night shift somewhere while searching for a better job.
