Guys I genuinely need some advice
Because of the state of my mental health I have decided never to get married or have kids.

I suffer from intense depression and anxiety and other mental health problems. I'm unsure of my own future talk more of a child.

I do love being in relationships but I do that only for companionship and sex.

I don't know if I will regret my decision. The guys I have dated have been cool with my no marriage proposal but I don't think any Nigerian man will not want kids.

I'm thinking of moving to another country, buy a house, take care of my community and neighbors then when I'm old, I will move to a retirement home.

If I change my mind I can adopt a child, am not against adoption as I am with marriage, it depends on if my mental health improves.

The problem I have is that will I be lonely without a child, like I said I'm not into marriage despite being a woman trained in traditional home, it's not that I hate it or anything, it's not just for me. I will be unhappy being married.

But the child thing is bothering me, I always wanted a child, but i don't want my mental health to prevent me from loving and caring for the child.

Please advise.

What causes the depression? You need to tackle that first.

We live in a highbrow area in Ogun state with one Kid of 2 years. My wife is not working, she is attending a university in Ogun state where we lived. My wife always watch African Magic, Zee World or running from one prayer house to another. She does not respect me at all. Living with her for 3 years now is hell on earth.

Yesterday, she told me that she attended a program conducted by a prayer ministry and the the General Overseer, a woman told her to bring a bag of rice as a seed. I told her I don't have money to buy a bag of rice for a ministry I don't know anything about. She got angry and told me that I must give her the money before I go to work. To my greatest surprise, she block the door and told me that I am not going anywhere until I give her the money for the bag of rice that the woman of God need the rice that yesterday. I got angry and tried to push her, she gave me a heavy slap and began to shout and insulting me using English so that every neighbour will hear. I was so ashamed and forced my myself out of the flat, she ran after me, held my clothe and tear it down.

I return back to my flat, carry a cable wire and beat her until she couldn't stand up. I'm an operation manager in my company, I went to work, took excuse and went to police station. I carried two police to arrest the general overseer, when we got there, she started swearing that she did not tell my wife to bring any rice, that it is my wife that volunteer to bring. The police did not arrest her again. I returned to office and notify her parents.

Her parents came in the night and after I explained to them, they insulted their daughter and apologize to me. I told my wife to follow her parents she refused.

So about 12:00 midnight, my wife started again, threatening me that she will deal with me, talking loudly again that I called her parents to come and insult her and she will pay me back in a way that I will regret knowing her.

When I couldn't sleep, I went out of the house at about 2:00AM to look for a near-by hotel to sleep. Immediately I entered the hotel, a young lady standing in front of the hotel followed me to the reception. I was thinking she want to book a room as well. The receptionist told me that the available room is 17, 000. I accepted and paid. I was directed to the room and as I entered, somebody knocked the door. I open the door and it was the young lady that followed me to the reception when I was entering the hotel. Before I knew she entered the room and said, "oga, I will do you well, na just 4,000 you go give me". She started touching me and I told her to stop it. I was so disturb by wife problems and I needed someone to talk with. So I accepted the lady. We spent the night together and had sex twice. This is my first time of having sex with another woman since I married in 2019.

I am always at home with my family when I return from work and I think my wife is taking that for granted. I will be going out from now to meet other women. I am completely tired of the marriage and I am considering marrying another wife that can give me peace and respect.

Don't go after other women and don't marry another problem. You allowed your wife to be going from one prayer house to another, you shouldn't have allowed that. Let her go to your church. Please settle with her, let peace reign in your house.

How do I start to repair myself, inside or outside this relationship?

Let her go then repair your life. Don't die because of a woman. If you die today she will still continue her wayward life. You need to be determined in order to repair your life. Don't live a life of pity.

There is this guy, we dated for 2 years before he traveled abroad (Italy) 2019. Our relationship was going on well even when he traveled out, we were always calling each other on video calls everyday. I was so faithful to him.

I wish he could open up to me and tell me what I was doing wrong so that I could adjust. OR he should just tell me he's in a relationship so that I could move on.

I plan visiting his elder sister this weekend and explain to her the issue on ground but on a second thought I think I'm too forward. I'm jst confused and I feel hurt.

Send a message to all the avenues that you can reach him and state that you want to move on since he doesn't have time for you anymore. see how he reacts, then follow your mind.

I have come here to raise this issue because i believe someone must have passed through what i am going through at the moment.

There is this Lady i met in March, she is super classy and has all the curves and looks like a model. What brought us together was just a friendly convo and a friendly tease that i admire her nails and since then she has been all over me.

She transfered some money to me to offset the debt. it all happened like juju. i am still trying to wrap my head around that.

I am trying my best to fit in with her but something is really off somewhere. I don't want to assume i know entirely what she does for a living but then, i have grown to really admire her. I wouldn't want to call it love but all my thoughts are always about her nowadays. Like 4 days ago i questioned her about some friends of hers i saw on her icloud and since then she has been giving me tough time.

My wife applied for her annual leave early this year and I was supposed to apply for mine do that we could travel with our kids to visit my grand parents.

As the head of my unit (there are four units heads) I report to a regional head and he resigned (Japa) creating the void for the four of us to trade subtle tackles.

This is the not the time to go on leave if you are very ambitious because whoever is assigned to act in his capacity may eventually get the position.

I tucked my leave plans and my wife proceeded on leave and travelled with my daughters while I continued aiming for the vacant position.

She works for an organization that sells and service heavy machineries. She is beautiful with a smooth voice and a spellbinding smile. She came to inquire why we have not called for their services for close to a month.

We talked about it and she invited me to lunch the next day. We had lunch and I told her I was married and she laughed and said she was not hitting on me that I should calm down and be free.

She said the invite to lunch was because I apologized about not calling her coy for services (actually we rotate vendors but my subordinates do collect tips from vendors so they can keep writing a vendors name on the request sheet and I keep approving as JJC ) and not all managers will entertain complaints the way I did.

Few days later she called, we joked had lunch again and she became my acquaintance. We live not too far from each other and one day my car won't start and she came around to give me a lift. She was insanely sexy and I like her as an acquaintance.

National Youth Service Corps - NYSC, you sent me to Okija in Ihiala LGA of Arnambra state to be of service to the nation, where we got set up, Falsely accused, Almost killed, Brutalized, victimised and extorted Hundreds of thousands just to save our lives for what we knew nothing about.

On Wednesday 27th April 2022 I had the worst
experience of my life in the Hands of those who l ought to feel safe around just because I was in service to NIGERIA. NYSC. IN ANAMBRA STATE.

l and My Fllow corp menmbers were falsely accused of of being suspected to have stolen our Neighbors phone at night, In a house we have been for the past One year, all these happened just a Day before my POP.

The said neighbor Mr Chukwujekwu Chukuweze was the last to sleep in the house that night, as he claimed he slept by 3am, we all went to bed before 12midnight and The man was in the passage with a stranger
whom he made prayer for, cos the neighbor of ours is a Dibia(priest).

Very few minutes past 3am after the man (Mr
Chukwujekwu Chukuweze) claimed to have slept and locked the both passage doors, My colleague came out to ease himself and saw the door opened(definitely opened from inside) and the man's purses were littered at the back of the house. My colleague felt they were probably dumped by the owner, and he went back to sleep. The next morning, we woke up to the news that someone entered into the man's room and took his business phones(an android infinix/tecno phone), the ones he uses to communicate with clients. He had an IPhone x all on same spot, but it wasnt taken, despite belng more expensive, this is a house where there is always power supply at night and n0 one could even dare enter His room.

I personally adviced the neighbor (Chukwujekwu chukuwezej to ensure he gets his account locked, since he said his Atm card was stolen also. He left the house shortly after, came back home with fellow Dibias(native priests) and many touts and thugs. Claimed to have consulted spiritually and found it was stolen by a male.

He opened his mouth and said it was neither I nor my colleagues who reside there that took it, but he feels it's one of the two outgoing corpers who came to spend the hight at our lodge before POP They called and questioned them, they told the touts to Scatter and check all of our rooms, because no one Was yet to leave the house that morning

Before searching, they seized all of our phones. The touts entered our rooms, and whille searching, they began taking our money, our clothes, Bags etc and warning us not to talk or we won't like how it would end. After searching and findlng Nothing, they dragged us all out, 5guys and 1girl.

They flogged us mercilessly without evidence, Used MACHETESS and wipes to fiog us brutaly without mercy. My colleagues were tied up like animals and made to hang in the air, tor what we knew nothing about. All of these Torture and Torment lasted from 9am in the morning to 4pm in the evening. Nonstop unjust torture Tor hours. we have cutlass WOunds over bodies

This happened in a compound where we did all we could to live happily for the past year. All means of communication was Cut off and our relatives couldnt each out to us. They threatened to take us to a shrine and guaranteed us NONE OF US WOULD RETURN ALIVE.

They claimed to have the contact of THE UNKNOWN GUNMEN we've always been hearing of, and they were on their way to end our Iives. Just because of a phone we knew nothing about its loss, a phone not even worth up tO 50K. While the whole assault lasted, our relatives tried multiple times to call as, but we were not ailowed to access Our phones.

Long story short, the principal of our PPA, a Catholic priest had to come and plead, and they demanded #700k, He had to beg them to give #350k for a phone not wortn even #ouk O Snow tnat all of tne torture was for them to successtuly extort us. we all had to contribute #50k each!l! to our Principals account to withdraw and give them Cash. How much did we earn all througn Our service year?

But to save our lives, we had no choice. We all had to make transfers to our Principal to withdraw and pay them, I personaly had to transfer #10,000 while being assaulted (we were given our phones to make the transactions only), they continued beating us up claiming the money wasn't enough yet, so I had to pay a balance of#40,000 to my principal the following morning after he helped us complete the money. They all had smiles on after receiving the money..

NYSC, Our only crime was being called to serve
Nigeria, and we almost paid with our lives, for doing nothing wrong... Al that happened was a clear set up, same neighbor who has been throwing sexual advances to our female colleagues, but never had his way...

I'M GRATEFUL TO GOD WE WERE ABLE TO PASS OUT AND LEAVE THE EAST ALIVE (and I'VE VOWED NEVER TO RETURN THERE IN MY LIFETIME). BUT THE PAIN AND TRAUMA WE HAVE BEEN MADE TO GO THROUGH IS TOO MUCH. All we plead for is Justice....PLEASE, THE LIVES OF ALL CORPERS THEy ARE IN DANGER NOW, WE DON'T KNOW WHO WOULD SUFFER NEXT.

My wife and I had issues sometime around December last year till January this year when she ran to her parent's house to stay without telling me. I know I was at fault, I have gone to apologize several times but she refused to forgive me.

Okay! Hand over my child to me, let me take my responsibility and play my fatherly role in her life, but she refused.

This Sunday may 1st, will make it 5 months I've not set my eyes on my daughter. April 2 was my daughter's 4th birthday, I couldn't even reach her to wish her happy birthday not to talk of sending her money.

I also reported to the police and radio FM but they couldn't help me because her phone is switched off since then. I don't know her whereabout, she's no longer in her parents house.

My wife's elder brother who is a lieutenant in the Nigeria Navy is the bread winner in my wife's family, I'm sure he knows her whereabout.

I went to Abuja with my Dad and my people to meet him. He sent us away right from his gate. I felt so embarrassed.

It's 5 months now, but soon it would be counting years Pls Help me. My wife is frustrating me, I can't sleep at night, I'm always thinking and restless, @11pm I'm still in a beer palour drinking my life away. I'm fading away.

Hello guys so I moved into a new apartment late last year which cost 300k - a mini one bedroom flat in Abuja. I knew I had to become more serious about saving or else me and landlord go get problem at the end of the year ....

Just like always, I do my calculations before taking any step and then I start saving. My former place cost 140k (a self contain) I needed more space so I had to move into my current place. Although it's not too big but since na only me, e dey ok.

However before moving in I calculated how much I'd have to save to meet up because I don't like the idea of having to run around like a headless chicken when my rent is due so I always start saving the very day I renew my rent anywhere. It has really helped me.

My calculation was that if I could save 1k per day I'll definitely meet up by God's grace before the year runs out. Some days I put in 10k or 5k or even 1k depending on how much cash I have at hand while the money transferred to my bank account remains untouched except for important spendings. I still have a month plus before my rent expires but I just started having this strong feeling to break the box open and I did tonight. What I got when I counted...... N343,500

I spread the money for people wey wan count. Although there was no space enough to properly spread so some are ontop others in twos and threes. I couldn't capture the whole money well because space no too dey and I'm not a professional photographer

I'll be sealing the box to begin saving from today again if I get cash. It's fun but very stressful and draining. Not for people without self control. Lol

Great people of this forum, honestly things have never been better ever since that incident and I wish our minds are like show glas4s so that y'all would see how sorry I am inside of me. I messed up and I'm really sorry.

5 days after I created that post above, My wife traveled with my daughter to her parents house to stay without telling me. Since that incident my wife haven't said a word to me, Not a single word. Sometimes I wonder if she's the same woman I married. I'm frustrated, incoherent and I'm losing my mind.

I've been good to her, I provide 85% for my family while she bring just 15% yet I don't complain, I'm romantic and good looking, since we married I don't keep female friends not to talk of cheating. Yet She denied me sex over 2 months without any reasons, that was why I acted that way and I'm so sorry.

On Tuesday here, My friend and I traveled to her parents house, they did not even welcome us well, I don't know what she must have told her parents but I explained myself, knelt down and asked for forgiveness.
