either way you look at it agriculture is the way forward. Establish your self as selfsuficient food producer and integrate the whole value chain (production, processing etc) and you have a guaranteed export market for eons to come. Any other industrialization trajectory we follow beside agriculture is subject to structural and cyclical shocks in the global economy. Its kind of twisted, but agriculture is a beautiful thing

Most nairalanders seem to have nostalgic view of the past before oil was discovered in Nigeria saying it was better economicly. I don't know if that's true since the oil helped Nigeria grow many fold. From what I can tell Nigeria was a mono economy then as well except the theme was agriculture.

Anyway agriculture isn't the way foward because it's not a big deal from imports stand point. It's very minor I terms of cost per year and percentage of total imports. Agricultural is also very minor in terms of our exporting potential aswell. Since we bearly take care of our domestic needs.

Industrialization is the answer people in Nigeria should be looking towards. The biggest drain on forex is actually machinery, chemical products, mineral products. All these things cold be manufactured domesticly at lower cost if there was electricity. These are better to focus on long term because our neighbors within west africa import these same thing primarily.

If we focus on this we could strengthen our foothold on manufacuting we would enjoy billions in savings and billions in exports to fellow Ecowas members. Please note strengthening agricultural base would be beneficial to economic diversification.

To my greatest suprice, One evening he called me to give him a very important paper and he has a parmanent room in a hotel at surulere..I meet him and the bride there ...it was on thursday night the bride will do engagement of friday the man was really servicing her ponmo and the man due to closeness and trust he told me to enter there room while I saw the girl nacked just covered herself with blancket...

She fealt very bad because the guy he want to married was a childhood area brother who is extremely very decent and nice ..Since that day I learnt a lesson..

On sarturday,During receiption the chairman of the day gave a speech while I kept looking the eye of the wife and the chairman I can see guilt all over the wife while the groom was happily dancing and rejoicing that he has found the born of his bone...

After two years they divorced eachother. The gurl left the guy with a child and follow one alhaji that sell industrial steel..The groom took the baby boy to his mother and after three month he got another job in one of nigeria bigest company which I won't mention..

.After 5 month, thaat ahlaji died It was unfortunately that he slept and didn't woke up while beside this same foolish bride. After two month he came back to beg this guy that she is now born again that she should be accepted...she learnt a lot I think she is still living alone now over 6 years now

Guys need to be careful with whom will settle for as life partner. I witnessed one that happened in my compound on 21st December. She is engaged to be married this December but came to a guy's house, unfortunately SARS came early in the morning to arrest the guy and she was arrested too. .

There is nothing wrong with opposing the policies of the current administration. It is good and just to do that. We need a viable opposition in Nigeria so that we can be on the right path.....especially as one can be wrong some of the time.

However, to wish death on one's political opponents is the height of despicable behavior. It is not sane and principled opposition, and it reveals the person as being nothing more than an evil and vindictive fellow.And the excuse that opponents of your preferred political champion do the same is not tenable, as it merely reveals you as being just another vindictive person.

As Nigerians, it is high time we learned to engage in politics without bitterness and vindictiveness. By all means criticize Buhari. I do the same, and I am not a fan of his government. Neither was i a fan of most previous governments of Nigeria. I wish they could have done better. But, at the same time I was ready to appreciate the good things they did....and that means, for example, appreciating GEJ for railways investment, or IBB for DFFRI and NDE, and NDLEA, and Abacha for cleaning up the banking system, to give a few examples.

But do not call for his death. In so doing you are giving in to the same evil and vindictive force that has caused so much tears and bitterness in our country since independence. You do not have to let bitterness and anger invade your mental and spiritual space. Because at the end of the day, it will do you more harm than the target of your attentions.
