Dymondgurl: no I didn't but I schooled in Zenith and I had friends in Access too.Really?? I left Access in 1999. Which school is Zenith? I don't think that school was there when I left. |
ChiFirstLady: lol, if u r a Nigerian,u should know dat chi is an ibo name.Abi u frm dat side?Thought so. I just had to ask. |
Dymondgurl: so u went to access? D school is now a shadow of its former self. I guess its poor management.Really?? What happened to the school? I left when "Admin" left. Did you go to the school also? |
Dymondgurl: How time flies! Ds post kinda makes me feel nostalgic. Back in d days wen we were at d peak of our innocence, these macmillian english textbooks always had a way of takin us to another level of our imagination and away from reality. It all seemed so wonderful then. Well fellas, welcome to d real world. I bet kids these days don't get to hav d kinda fun we had.Yes o, the good old days at Access, Calabar in the 90's. Chei! memories. |
SAMBARRY: yes of coursewhat thread was it? |
SEUN, You honestly need to start banning cynics and millitant atheists from nairaland. I know you feel that this is a public forum and that everyone should be allowed to express there views but the presence of this guys who come here to attack anything about God is becoming prevalent. They post to instigate and provoke people which is against the rules of this website. Anything God related on this site, they just swarm the posts with there anti-God rhetoric. This is not only blasphemy but abuse and bigotry which happens to violate the terms and conditions of posting on nairaland. Please do something about it. |
MrsChima: I am not Nigerian nor do I support archaic mentalities. So its archaic to be faithful to one person and not be deceitful?? Well if that's archaic, then please count me in. |
Woah!!!!!! |
MrsChima: duh!!Wow!!!!!!! So this is how Nigerian think? Na wa o. Maybe I should tell all my friends never to date a Naija person ever. Well unless her 'main' boyfriend actually knows that she is seeing another guy at the same time then you can say she is ok but if she has to lie, be deceitful and sneak around so that her main boyfriend does not know then that's cheating plain and simple. |
MrsChima: how is that cheating if she is unmarriedWhat?!?!?? Are you seriously asking me this question? |
Kachisbarbie: Hahahahaha. I thought I was the only one seeing the illegal faces o.What do their faces have to do with their hunting ability ![]() ![]() |
Ceasar1: Lol.. How did a camera got in there and that light?Chei!!!!! See comment! And to think that 19 people actually liked it is what is even more shocking. Na wa o. |
lalasticlala: My cousin sister called me sometime ago, that she would wanna see me. I asked her where she was, she told me to meet her at a fast food joint. About an hour later, I was there. I met her in company of a her very pretty friend and one guy.OP, It's cheating!!!!!!!!! |
funshint: Can you send e-mail without opening an e-mail account? You are comparing apples and oranges bruh. Some blogs give you the opportunity to post anonymously. |
Excellent point poster. It would be great to post under anonymous like you do in some blogs because at times one might just want to make a comment on a thread instead of going through the hassle of registering your email. Now having said that, only registered members should be allowed to create a thread. |
SAMBARRY: that's how one oponu was asking if it's ok to sleep with a married man without breaking his home. |
MrsChima: If she is not married. .she shouldn't have to settle for one guy. What?? That's cheating?? |
ChiFirstLady: U r high on satchet water o.lolhey, i noticed your name, do you live in Chiraq? |
When i hear of this ZMapp drug for Ebola, for some reason it reminds of the Will Smith movie 'I am Legend' or the 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'. |

dominique: Yes, why?Just a little surprised at your comment that you don't like kneeling down or that you find it exasperating with all that "respect" thing. |
collynzo2: Funniest video ever! Bottomline is that the guy succeeded and is chilling somewhere in the UK right now, possibly a Nairaland member. That female officer must be an immigrant herself, no native British woman can be that hot.So my yanki friend was right. He said English girls are not fine at all. |
kolawaxxy: at last! Someone made use of the phrase "no pun intended" in the right contextThis is one of the funniest things i've read on nairaland. Excellent quote. |
taurus21: Get an education dumbass, when I said Adam never performed any of the stunts to win Eve's approval I meant it as a joke. "no pun intended" does mean "Ha ha, did you just hear that joke I made accidentally (or at least I'm pretending I made it accidentally)." If you couldn't see the pun in it then am sorry you didn't see the funny side of it and please this will be last I'll be replying you I can't fit shout. Please read the dictionary again. Can't you see bruh? A pun is NOT A JOKE, it is "the use of words or phrases to exploit ambiguities and innuendoes in their meaning, usually for humorous effect; a play on words". Now show me the innuendos or the double meaning words in your line about Adam and Eve. Geez, Naija people always sooooo combative and unnecessarily defensive. Let me show you an example of a pun (scroll down to the third comment in this thread). https://www.nairaland.com/1862595/picture-vincent-enyeama-cooking-okro |
What kind of country is this? |
livialives: Actually i would say your eyes are quite salty. Get them checked ASAP. So you can discern human beings from each other.Goodness! did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed today hahahahaha ![]() |
livialives: Not only Mimi faust it's Maimunat fausathahaha mayne, so salty haha. Sorry mimi, holla at nikko for me haha. Enjoy your day too. |
hensben: so you dont know there is an/a africa/nigeria market in franceChei!!! you sabit wetin sarcasm mean?? ![]() |
taurus21: If you couldn't find the pun from my statement you should have simply asked, I doubt if you even know what it means my friend, my pun there is clear to see if you really have a sense of humor maybe you would have noticed it but I'm guessing you're humorless and please never quote me again.British Dictionary definitions for pun pun1 /pʌn/ noun the use of words or phrases to exploit ambiguities and innuendoes in their meaning, usually for humorous effect; a play on words. An example is: "Ben Battle was a soldier bold, And used to war's alarms: But a cannonball took off his legs, So he laid down his arms." Now show me the pun in your so called statement below. taurus21: . All the above is a description of the BIGGESt Mugu. Ladies never appreciate nice guys or gentlemen whatever name you call it. Guys should just be who they are naturally, never try too hard to find love it should come easy afterall Adam never did any of these stunts to win Eve's approval. No pun intended Op |
livialives: For your mind this nonsense you just typed makes sense right? So you are not Mimi Faust?? My bad. That picture sure looked like Mimi's (and some people say she is Nigerian btw). Either way, to the topic. I really can't stand touchy people. If you don't like people commenting about your stature (Nigerians in your case) then hang out with more politically correct people. |
dominique: My friend recounted an experience with a very full figured lady. She had already greeted her by bopping her knees and using ma before realising the person she had greeted was only a teenager! Nobody never made the mistake of greeting me like that when I was still a teenager (except when teasing). Even in my late 20s and after 2 kids, people I know I'm older than or within my age range still stare at me expecting me to greet them first (Me wey no too like all that Yoruba greeting wahala just dey bone them ni o). Even cloth shopping is a chore cos most boutiques/ships stock less clothes for size 10 small downwards because according to them, 'they don't sell that well'Quick question. Are you Yoruba? |
