queengift:Nah nah. It's pretty much unfair to place Nigeria and Rwanda on the same level. |
ednut1:Hahaha, it left me speechless. |
coolxpaul:Hello Doc. Everything is going well and the pushing never ends. Thank you for asking Hope your training is going fine too. All the best to you. |
This is unbelievable. |
How can your sister even choose Benin Republic? Of all countries in the world, na Benin Republic? The world is moving forward and you people decided to move 50 years backwards. |
2Ballz:I just stumbled on this thread, reading through this page and here you've been bursted once again just like you were some years back and all you could do is write a truck load of crap as a response to the accusations. Do you think people are stupid? You writing in outdated shakespearean English can only get you confused and nobody else. Smh, i don't really blame you but the Nigerian system 'cause everything is just messed up and i've given up a long time ago. Good luck to you and those that consult you. |
She could be kleptomaniac and trying to get her out of that habit will be a hell lot of work. Please send her back and save yourself the drama. |
Nice stuffs. I've saved your phone number, i'll contact you when i'm ready. |
QueenSekxy:The only sensible post here so far. Stop flattering yourself oga, the babe has already dumped your useless cheating as.s but your overbloated sense of self worth wouldn't let you see it. You've cheated on her for 3 years and only decided to take a one yr break, enough to let you tie her down in marriage before continuing your dirty life style. Now you understand how it feels being in her shoes. End the relationship, she deserves better. |
Unfortunately, the last time i used the form A to pay school fees abroad, the transaction was not done using the official rate. A rate of 360/USD was used. For me, the CBN Form A shi.t is as good as useless. |
Mamatoppy:That Lady you quoted and called a dumbo just told you the truth, albeit rather harsh with her usage of words. People are refusing to say things exactly as they are just so they don't come off as judgemental but trust me, the result may be three kids for three different men if we keep hiding the truth. Oh yes! The Nigerian society doesn't favour women in any way, from the youngest of us to the oldest so it's our duty to protect ourselves in every possible ways we can, emotionally, physically etc. Being in a relationship shouldn't make you lose your sense of reasoning and self preservation. If you were living in an organized society, the law would sort you out and that would be a different kettle of fish altogether and Of course you wouldn't be on Nairaland posting this Crap. Yeah, this is bullshi.t and crap. It's Bullshi.t because you totally planned this out and unfortunately, it's a plan gone wrong. The public pric.k is 40 and single aha? but that doesn't mean he's a father material or even ready to be one or married and you went ahead to take your chances anyways. He had a live in girlfriend(who was smart enough to not fall pregnant) whom you knew about but you still went on to play. You caught him whoring with three different women and you still didn't leave. At least, you would have borrowed a leaf from the live in girlfriend that left him because of you, but you didn't. You clearly had a mission to achieve. He still brought his public peni.s into your Vagin.a (which you clearly don't respect) and you didn't make him use a Condom. You weren't scared of contracting some incurables from him. Wow! The 'morning after pills' would have saved the day even after all the intentional 'mistakes' but you again chose not to use it. Women make this 'intentional mistake' for one of three reasons; to have a baby of their own with or without the involvement of the father. These women see and treat the pregnancy as a gift, they have the means and are happy to take care of the kid all by themselves. The idea of being able to have their own babies whether or not marriage happens is their motivation. These ones are the wise sisters, they don't go embarrassing themselves because they know what they want. The second category are the ones that tie a man to marriage with pregnancy. It works for a lot of sisters but some others get their fingers burnt and their lives altered forever. The third category are the ones that want some extra cash from Child support. This is a mistake in Nigeria as you'll spend more in time, energy and money trying to get some kobo that isn't worth the hard Labour The law will work for you abroad and you could get an extra coins from the government for the upkeep of your kidsThe last group are the genuinely ignorant and innocent sisters who were deeply in love with a man, got sweet talked and lied to and mistakenly fell for the lies and got pregnant. These ones, i feel some pity for 'cause they never saw it coming. You know which category you fit in but my advise is that you let it go. The deed has been done, pregnancy has advanced and you got an amazing gift from God already. You said money is no problem and you can pay people's salaries on here so, save yourself this stress and channel all energy to welcoming your gift and giving it a good life. Forget about that man, he's a dead beat and very irresponsible. If you want to stress yourself fighting him, you'd be doing your mental and physical health no good as High BP may set in. The agencies and lawyers you're calling on will not do you much good. An order will be given that he pays the Child support but paying it regularly may not be achieved. This guy rejected this pregnancy from the start, forget about him. If in the future he decides to come take responsibility, that would be fine. Let your family and friends channel all their resources towards you and your baby because you'd need as much support as you can get. Being a single mum isn't a walk in the park and that phase of your life will begin soon. This is just an opinion and you may decide not to take it. Any quotes with insults will not be dignified with a response. i'm a very busy person but i took out time to write this here. Maybe some girls planning on using this 'intentional mistake' method may reconsider because it hardly ends well. The exact advise i'd give to my flesh and blood. I sincerely wish you all the best! |
ksbusari:That's a sensible woman, you don't push things too much especially when they're so so irrelevant. There are a whole lot of things to argue about and this photo shoot nonsense is definitely not one of them. |
Centrallock:You're giving a very bad advice. This thing you call the small stuff is actually the very huge and mighty stuff. How he handles it will determine his fate in that marriage. @Op, don't let this slide. This is your opportunity to stand your ground and desensitize your woman to that ' pepper them mindset', the show off crew and the competition gang. If she's so interested in showing off that she doesn't care about losing you, then you're going to be in an even bigger mess in the marriage proper. So call her and apologize for being irrational and tell her you're interested in moving things forward but there's still not going to be a pre wedding picture. You want things done differently. Every other thing is okay by you but definitely not a pre-wedding shoot and however she handles it will determine if you should thank your lucky stars and move on or if you should stick it out with her. You made some compromises and she should be able to make some too if she wants stuffs to work. A sensible woman would care less about a photo shoot. Hahaha, i've read things on Nairaland though. All the best! |
Nednwoko:Hi, i do not know much about work visas but students visa. You could try any of the embassies closest to you for the requirements. |
temi4fash:Hahaha. You do have one, but you don't know. |
reservd:I think that was his initial deposit. I mean the first deposit he made after creating his account. Subsequent ones will be faster. |
RealityShot:I wonder how topping up by bank transfers and bank deposits translate to liking wahala. These other options are there for a reason. It doesn't have to be an ATM top up alone 'cause some people do not own ATM cards. The last time i ever owned a Nigerian Bank ATM card was 7years ago. It's unfortunate you had a not so good experience with these guys but really, they are very good. |
mjay2018:I use ARM and FBNQuest. Overall, I'd say they're both good especially FBN quest. with FBN, i've always had the same day subscription or at most the next day if the payment was made late. The trick for me is that i never send my payment evidence to their customer care email where it would take too long to sort out, i send it to my account officer's and he acknowledges the receipt of the email and follows up on the subscription. Even when i subscribe early enough on a friday, my fund gets utilized that day though it may not reflect on my account, but everything gets updated accordingly on Monday. The last subscription i made was yesterday at 9:39am Nigeria time, i received an email acknowledgement at 10am and by today (sat) my account is updated with interest. Try FBNQuest, they've got good rates and i've not had any issues with them so far. |
Yankee101:Now i know how foolish you are boy. You obviously can't be saved. The squabble is no longer on a matter you know zilch about, it's now about my moniker. My moniker of all things? All these questions and insults on Nigerian Doctors because of a username that was created almost 9 years ago when i was still trying to find my way around Anatomy? You really really do need some serious help. And hey, take your obscenity off my mention. You, your disgusting phallus and self. You're just too classless, i'm only sorry for the normal humans that'll have to deal with you in real life. |
Yankee101:You're very uninformed on this matter, it's better to shut the hell up. You're making a fool of yourself already. ITK |
This is sad. I don't understand why Nigerians would choose India of all places for healthcare. I had a lot of them as classmates and they had issues with hygiene, reason i'm not surprised the patient came down with meningitis. Their filth and carelessness won't let them do a good job. If the patient doesn't die from post-surgical complications, they'd be sure to die from nosocomial infections. Some of them are very good and professional though. These Indian hospitals also promise cure for some 'incurable' end stage diseases, luring patients and relatives to India to waste their resources when all the patient needs is palliative care at home. Yes, they already know that there's little or no hope but the money must be made. Please, people should choose better countries for medical tourism, let them treat themselves. India's 'cheapness' isn't exactly cheap in the end. |
kingvincenteze:You don't have to pay for every single item on the list. Your parents are in a better position to help you negotiate things to your advantage. I can't believe that every single man that got a wife from that village paid 850k, even the local farmers and brick layers. ![]() It wouldn't be prudent to spend the entire 250k you've saved up to satisfy some people's greed and waiting till you save up 850k won't be a good idea either. My advice is that you go with a few family members of yours and take 150k out of the 250k you have. 70k for the men, 50k for the women and 30k for whatever. You explain to them that it's all you can afford and you've got a family to provide for. I'm sure they'll accept and appreciate your efforts if they're sensible. As for the problems you're having with your wife, it could be a communication issue. Maybe you can try a different approach to resolving the conflicts and misunderstandings. Ask her if she's still interested in being married to you and let her know you're not happy with her attitude. There could also be something she's not happy about. Don't give up just yet, try and see how it turns out. I'm sure everything is going to be fine. Just take things one step at a time. |
234ng44uk:ARM has been posting, although they took two days off over the weekend to upgrade their website and today, they're back with all interests paid and reinvestment alert for Q1. |
eddyakinrinde:They'll add the accrued interest to your original capital and reinvest all if you chose the reinvest option while opening the account. |
fatymore:Don't get emotional about this, don't fall for his emotional blackmail. You did absolutely nothing wrong. |
skyangel:Redemption is usually done online. The money is paid into the bank account provided while opening the mutual fund account. It shouldn't take more than two days. |
CuteRedd:ARM is performing well. |
Chipink:Those guys are not Doctors. |
Sweetheart666:Of course anyone that does not like to beg will simply not beg except there's an urgent need which may or may not be a life threatening issue. Begging may be warranted or even inevitable in some situations but being a chronic beggar or begging for something you can provide for yourself with some efforts is really shameful. Some people like to sit their lazy selves at home and feed off other people's sweat. Yeah, they don't like the idea of work 'cause it's difficult and there's always an easy way out which is begging. All they have to do is talk, mention God and their bank account smiles smh. |
CanadianNaija:Exactly. When you try to do the right thing by advising and admonishing them, some people will jump in to play advocates trying to guilt trip you in the name of God, Jesus and the Angels. Such actions do not ameliorate the situation, they only make things worse for these people. I was in Lagos recently and i saw a bread hawker carrying her sleeping infant on her back. I was moved and impressed at the same time. When i called her to give her something, she didn't expect it. She was very happy and that made me happy too. Those are the sort of people we should encourage and assist at every opportunity. She could make up a thousand and one excuses why she can't go out and hustle for herself and kid but she chose to defy those. Perhaps, she had no one to look after her child but that did not stop her. She got herself a wood, long enough to provide shade for herself and baby from the scorching sun instead of a tray. That's a woman with dignity who loves her kid enough to at least provide food for him. It's ok if you don't have pity for yourself, that's fine. But you really need to have some pity for the kids 'cause they can't help themselves. |
Kworopshun:You are a very big fool from a generation of foolish idiots. The useless low life morons from the retrovirus infested country decided to litter the internet space with their trashy xenophobic comments. I read the gibberish they spilled on this thread and smh because replying them would be condescending to the lowest level unfit for a human. You this mor.on with an IQ of less than 0.1, still struggling to pass JAMB and looking for 5k feeding money. Disrespecting and dragging a particular tribe into such a stu.pid discuss because you want to aszlick some imbe.ciles is very unforgivable and can't be overlooked. I understand that you're a retar.d fertilized by a mutated sper.m cell but it's criminal for a thing like you to be allowed into the internet space. You fight each other on here, call each other names insult other tribes. No one gives a damn, you just have to be sensible enough to know where to draw the line. Nigerian fight Nigerian, no one cares. The Igbo man insults the yoruba man and vice versa, it's fine but mentioning the entire Igbo tribe in such a despicable thread shows that your foolishness is truly genetic and incurable. Receive sense or stay off the internet for the sanity of the sane people. Foolish boy. |
The law will work for you abroad and you could get an extra coins from the government for the upkeep of your kids

smh.
