It's not a global problem. It takes less than 3hrs to get a Nigerian passport at the Nigerian Embassy where i reside.

You people should stop accepting abnormalities as normal.

If they have the resources to readily produce passports within 24hrs and call it express service, then i think the long waiting period is unnecessary and is only created by Nigerians against Nigerians for selfish gains.

You can only get a delay in the diaspora if there's a shortage in the materials for producing the passport or the equipment is faulty. And this does not happen often.

It's been one MMM news or the other on nairaland front page lately and one is forced to go through the comments. I noticed most, if not all threads were like a battle field.

Of all the comments i read, i chose to quote one person whom i reasoned would be sensible enough to make intelligent convo. and arguments. Quoting any other person would be like starting a fight with a pig that will end up dragging you to the mud, i have more important real life issues to proffer solutions to.

Antiwailer replied my quote, i read, said Ok and moved on. It's his right to do what he believes in and i can't dwell on that.

You see it as a campaign against scam, which i think should be done more gracefully to achieve it's original intent while i see it as meddling in other people's affair. A huge difference in our belief system and environmental influence.

It's a moderate sized defect so the chance of it closing spontaneously on it's own is very slim unlike small defects that are asymptomatic and may close after 1 year.

She can be well managed medically to control pulmonary hypertension and prevent congestive heart failure and respiratory infections.

All in all, it's not an emergency case but it needs an early surgical correction while she's still young to avoid complications.

I have colleagues from almost all southern African countries and what they earn as medical officers is almost same amount a consultant practising in Nigeria earns as a take home.

Do you know how much intern Doctors earn in Namibia?

Even Doctors in Botswana earn far better than a senior reg. in Nigeria.

I'm not just quoting stuffs from the top of my head, i have these people as friends.

I told myself from the beginning, I'd rather go practice in Botswana, Zambia than have anything to do with the Nigerian government.

I think what your wife has is a fibroadenoma from the history you gave, it's mostly seen in women her age although, only a tissue biopsy can give the definitive diagnosis.

Try and calm down, there isn't much cause for alarm. It may increase in size even more now that she's pregnant due to hormonal effects, but that shouldn't stress you.
I advice she gets a lumpectomy done after she stops breastfeeding. It's a pretty much easy procedure.

I had one myself, and it was removed exactly 4 years after i discovered it. that's to tell you how slowly it grows. But i strongly recommend it be removed as soon as you guys can 'cause it doesn't belong there.
A biopsy can be done first to determine the need for urgent surgery. This is a very inexpensive way to put your mind at rest.

I'm sure if they did, they would have discovered it was a multiple pregnancy. In fact even a layman would tell the baby will be a big one or multiple pregnancy (twins et al) from the size of her abdomen. It's usually bigger than normal.
