You can make a copy of the certificate and take it to court or the registry so they can certify your copy as the true copy.

Once that is done you should be able to submit it, perhaps with a cover letter explaining that the copy you have is original and certified by the court

Please i need your advise on how to go about my marriage certificate
I got an offer from Anglia Ruskin University, and part of what i was advised to provide is my marriage certificate that has white and green background, my concern now is that we've misplaced the original certificate what i have is the photocopy.
Is it possible for me to get another original copy, if yes what's the process like. Pls assist

1. confirm what the travel rules are with your airline and doctor to be sure it is safe to do so

2. Please do a court/registry wedding to back up the rest of the evidence you have for your marriage

3.Please include the court certificate, a cover letter and /or affidavit to confirm the name differences in your child's application.

I don't have church certificate. We just married traditionally.

I haven't done change of name. All my documents, including passport have my maiden name. It's only my son's birth cert that my husband's name was included in my name. So my name on my son's birth certificate has both my maiden name and husband's name.

It means you will be contacted when your passport is ready for collection.it hasn't been received by them yet

Be patient, bank holiday has slowed things down and should hopefully pick up in the new year

1) I printed my statement from the Nov 19th to Dec 20th (32 days) but I paid for my Visa fee on Dec 17th, which is day 29 of the POF, hope I’m good.

2) I finished my degree 2016, finished my NYSC 2018, started job same 2018 till last year Dec 2021, so I submitted the NYSC cert and the employment letter plus reference for the job from 2018-2021. hope that will be enough for the study gap? cuz I’ve been into personal trade business throughout this year.

Standard decision waiting time is an average of 3weeks ( 15 working days)
28th will make it day 13 if you remove the bank holiday.

You can make a paid call by then to check if a decision has been made but you may most likely get more updates in the new year

3. Do you have your church certificate, that should suffice in addition to other documents to show your relationship

4. Have you done a change of name?? What name does your passport carry?

My husband's visa application is successful and he will be leaving January to UK. We(myself and 2 kids) want to start our application asap. I have several questions.
1) I am currently pregnant. Will this affect my application? Does pregnancy make me unqualified?
2) If not, when's the latest time a pregnant woman will be allowed into the UK?
3) We don’t have a marriage certificate as we didn't do court wedding. Is there any way around this?
4) I still bear my maiden name on all documents. But on my first son's birth certificate, my husband's surname was added to my name. So I have my name and maiden name and husband's surname. Is this an issue? Should I get another birth certificate?

Same thing here. Since October-3months,we arrived my dependant has not been able to work due to the NO WORK error on brp. Sent mails to home office yet no positive feedback. Even my school has contacted them.

You can't put asterisk in a visa application for a passport details whether it is an infant or not

2.Please wait till your child's passport is out then you can apply

3. Unfortunately you have to bear the cost or loss in rebooking your flight.You are supposed to wait till you get a decision before doing so

@justwise and other visa gurus in the house, if I fill that my dependent is travelling with me but under passport number I put asterisk ****** with an explanation at the end of the application that the form, that as at the last visit the passport was in production unit will it be OK. Note we have booked a flight already.

They can verify additional information not just the statement for instance they can ask your bank to confirm your current balance and if it doesn't tally with what you submitted that is grounds for refusal

I travelled to Turkey this year and over stayed my visa for 12days because I applied for a permit which wasn’t later granted. I paid for the overstay at the airport when I was coming back to Nigeria, I hope this won’t affect my uk visa application.

Do you have the necessary documents to overturn that decision through AR?

If not then there is no need to pursue that route, AR can take months sometimes (between 3-6months)

A new application might be advisable.

Ensure you address the reason for refusal adequately before reapplying

You might get an NSF to provide showing your activities since your last degree because you have more than 5years study gap.

Once you get it please provide the evidence. It shouldn't affect the ECOs decision if everything requested for is provided.

You have enough time to get the relevant documents you need.

1. Request for a ref letter from the school you worked with after graduation

2. Request for a ref letter from the current agency you work with, have your staff ID ready

3. Register your company and pay your taxes

4. Include these documents when applying, pay slips are voluntary unless the ECO insists (Based on a suspicion/verification)

After that, I got a job with an agency under MTN where our salary is being paid either through cash or through MTN momo wallet and also I have a personal biz that I do but not registered. I will be applying for Sept 2022. Now my problem is this, I know my study gap is long as I will be asked for employment history and payslip... Pls how do I go about this? The second question is how much will be our Visa, IHS and priority fee for student and a dependant? Study duration is a year. Jan 2023 Jan 2024.

Myself and wife actually have 4 kids and the plan is that we'll submit their application before 6 months after our arrival so that wife can come back to Naija to pick them.

Your POF calculation is correct

The USD amount for visa and IHS will depend on your bank exchange rate plus charges. My advise is to work with a black market conversion figure for the dollar value although it will be less than that.
