While Diamond sank, the prevailing sentiment was "run for safety, sell now before CBN hammer falls on it, you have the opportunity now to avoid being a shell holder, it is finally going to the 20k bus stop never to rally up again before it goes the way of SKYE.........".
While all such doomsday alerts are not entirely out of place judging from experience gleaned from precedent, it is sometimes good in this market for you to close your ears to the noise and do as your inner mind directs as per calculated risk while being prepared to accept responsibility if however your decision ends up boomeranging.
I entered the diamond bus to at 66k but on getting to the N1.07 km I unblocked my ears to listen to the noise, and that cut short my jackpot. I accepted the fault as mine and moved on.

Buhari emptied the treasury on Dec 31st so entries for December appear as if it was Shagari that emptied the treasury..

I will source for daily entries of forex for 1983 and you will see for yourself that the treasury was looted on Dec 31st.

Buhari is a thief
We are basing our deduction on your own very claim.
According to you, Foreign reserves began to plummet on Dec. 1 1983.
We however know that Buhari took over on Dec. 31 1983. It then means the plummetting started 30 days before Buhari came to power thus it started under Shagari. This is simple syllogism.

Awolowo is responsible for ushering in a military coup that ousted shagari.

Reeling from his loss at the polls, Awolowo will deploy the Lagos-Ibadan presatitutes to demonize the Shagari civilian administration with so much negative propaganda - the likes of which was only repeated again by same SW presstitutes who were deployed by Tinubu to attack Jonathan's govt with the sleaziest form of propaganda that can only be described as slanderous. It was on this corruption propaganda that Buhari used to justify a coup just as they claimed Buhari will recover phantom looted funds that they claimed Jonathan stole.

The same Awo will justify the coup as a necessary evil thinking Buhari will conduct elections and hand over to him. Same thing Tinubu is repeating. Yorubas and Igbos are the ones that give these backward norrthners the audacity to demand they rule you. The Igbos are guilty of propping up northern political domination because it is them that are threatened when the north decides to unleash their greatest weapon - mob violence. If the Igbos relocated from the north, will the north unleash mob violence on themselves? And if they did, will any of us in the south care? As for the Yorubas, they give the north the legal backing by their constant twisting of logic, slander and lies on any southern leadership and their ability to constantly virtue signalling while being guilty of what they accuse you of.
In all these your attempts to spin history you were not honest enough to remind your readers that your brother Zik and his Igbo political brethren were the first southerners to partner with the North in 1959 to persecute their fellow southerners whose decision to help themselves against the Hausafulani-Igbo Oligarchy onslaught led to the Igbo tragedy on the long run. You also could not spare a single line to remind us how your own brother Aguiyi Ironsi pioneered the introduction of military take over in Nigeria and how he destroyed the very world class model system of governance which we all unanimously agreed to as a sovereign people thus his laying of the foundation for the overall failed state status of Nigeria till today.

The available records were presented on a cumulative monthly basis.

Immediately after seizing power, Buhari looted the treasury.
Unfortunately those your 'available' records contradict the reality that Buhari took over Dec. 31 which was 30 days after the Dec 1. you claim foreign reserves started plummetting.

Between Dec 1st 1983 to Jan 31st 1984, Nigeria's foreign reserves dipped significantly.

Buhari looted Nigeria dry in one month.

The recession was heralded by Buhari looting our treasury the very next day.
Buhari took power Dec. 31 1983, so if foreign reserves started dippeing on Dec. 1 1983, then it means it started under Shagari who was still in power as at Dec. 1 1983 to Dec. 31 same year.
Also recall that Operation Ghana-must-go which was the government's response to Nigeria's rapidly falling economy was launched by the Shagari-Ekweme government....an evidence that the recession of the 80s actually started under Shagari due to the monumental looting and misrule that formed the hallmarks of the NPN government.

I shifted to Osun because of the "nonsensical SW" interest being regurgitated.
I don't know about your state therefore I can not speak for them nor their interests but I know about my state and our interests and I can speak abit for most of us in the state.

and I don't know which other term APC won election in Osun other than aregbe second term
he won first term by a very dubious legal suit, not that he won an election. 10 LGS were cancelled and no rerun order in those 10,absolutely bizzare.
he won squarely the second term
they lost this last election and result to "bullying and outright rigging"
so how did APC win election 3 times.
APC is not bad in Osun, yet they struggled to win in a state where they are not bad, what a logic.

unless this new governor can invoked a magic wand by doing act that uplift the spirit of the indigenes,no way would Buhari win here in the elections.
The gap BTW APC/PDP has closed significantly in just four years.
I can say it boldly, if an APC supporter tell you Buhari win win Osun without being worried, such person is a big time liar.
If you would so easily refere to the SW as nonsensical, then what moral locus standi have you to speak on her affairs including Osun? Or you think Osun is in the ipobian enclave?
If the court verdict which gave Aregbesola victory for his first term was dubious as you would have us believe, then how come the same courts similarly kicked out PDP and returned opposition figures as the actual winners in Edo, Ondo, Ekiti and Anambra with respect to the same elections? Care to explain?
If PDP was always in the hearts of Osun voters, then how come even when all the SW voted massively for Jobathan/PDP in 2011 presidential election, only Osun stood out against PDP and gave it to ACN? Care to explain this too?
Isn't it rather ironical that you have already gone ahead of the court to declare the APC's victory in Osun's latest guber election as a fall out of vote buying when vote buying is actually original and native to the PDP?

lol.shifting goalposts,
tell me one reason with all the dissapointnent we have

suffered in the hands of APC in Osun state why we should foolishly cast majority of our votes again for the same party just because its Buhari contesting and not Aregbe.
its still the same old wicked APC.

your other points are terrific nonsense, you called me "obasanjo slave"
I gave you reason why i will rather remain under his slavery rather than the benevolent Yoruba interest fighter tinubu
and you counter with the repeated nonsense
"he is the one that fought for democracy that entrenched obasanjo"
your state may continue under his slavery that has entrenched useless, visionless and thugs like aregbe as governor not my own state again.
Chief merchant of inverted accusations. It was you rather you who shifted the goalpost from the initial focus which was the entire SW to only Osun.
Of course given how you have been clutching at straws one would not be surprised that your inability to recognize that your failure to prove wrong the argument that Obasanjo remains a beneficiary of Tinubu's struggle for the return of democracy has already punctured and made nonsense of all the points you think you raised against Tinubu. If APC was so bad in Osun, then how come it has won three consecutive guber elections against your beloved ipobic PDP? Care to explain?

I did rather remain remain obasanjo slave than being one to Tinubu..at least under obasanjo, Olagunsoye oyinlola build us a university, never own salary or pension and left just a debt of 7billion which was ironically seen as huge then and was one of the things they even used against him in campaign.

now under the "benevolent Tinubu"
Osun has bad roads across the state.
education has collapsed big time.
non payment of salaries,30 months,30!
non payment of pensions.
unfinished projects everywhere....started and left untouched again for 8 years.
phantom and stupid projects like wasting Billon's of naira on opon -imo, giving the project to kabiru his son,and now the opon-imo is nowhere to be found again,
or like the hilarious failed airport project.
the most criminal is leaving 375 billion naira, yet has nothing to show for it.

if this is what a "benevolent leader" can give to his people as dividend of leadership,I rather remain under obasanjo as slave forever.
February is here again, remove Osun from states APC will win, that's the reality on ground here.
Tinubu's cup is full in Osun state.
The same Obasanjo who fought tooth and nail against the very democracy you enjoy Today courtesy of Tinubu's struggle which successfully brought an end to military rule and ushered in this democracy which your Obasanjo happened to be the ultimate beneficiary. Without Tinubu fighting the military Obasanjo would have died in prison and never returned to power for him to have become anything to you.
