Godlylifeoneart:Yeah! The gold digging grave robber. |
Mcy56:Chai! Him wicked o! Upon all the school fees you don pay am? You sure say that no be wetin make you vex report am to the mods so tey him chop ban? |
Godlylifeoneart:And using that literal meaning as background premise, we can deduce the figurative thus real meaning as "a grave robber". And you know grave robbery in the stock market is the shortest cut to heavy portfolio. |
Agbalowomeri:Tehehehehehe..... Lecturer for NSEMPA different from lecturer for school o. If heavy portfolio owners like Mcy56 and others be your students, then why we go dey doubt the depth of your pocket? Or you don ever hear say people wey dem dey teach how to catch fish come suddenly get fish pass who dey teach them? |
360great:You dey mind them? They are so mean that mere human demarcations have become a big deal in their eyes. I keep wondering why they are the only tribe always preoccupied with the composition of the SS as if there is anything so special about the region which even the SS people themselves don't yet know of. They have their own region carved out for them but their eyes are always on another people's own. |
Cmanforall:It should also baffle you why Northern Cross River is in the SS. They are called geopolitical regions and not geographical regions. |
Agbalowomeri:A no try? |
Ugosample:From the name alone - Agba (Senior) lowo (portfolio size) ..... |
Agbalowomeri:Chai! A whole lecturer for NSEMPA? |
Ugosample:It becomes a highly subjective perception matter. Two individuals might both have, say, N5m worth portfolio size, and while one who has few responsibilities may see it as large, the one with numerous responsibilities on his shoulders may consider it as low sized. |
Agbalowomeri:Over try worry you. |
Ugosample:Not for low worth portfolio owners. |
Bezzle:In my own opinion, you need to sell and avoid further losses which are obviously inherent in FO, then look for a more promising one and buy with the proceeds. No quoted company on NSE is worth falling in love with and residing in more than six months. It is not marriage where it is for better for worse as long as it is not your father's company. Not even the so called bluest chips are exempted. They can do to you what FO has just done. From my own experience, long terming in Nigeria is dangerous and could be counterproductive especially to low portfolio size owners like some of us. You can wake up one day and begin to hear stories that touch concerning your company and bailing out becomes almost impossible. The intersting feature of the stock market is that when one door is closed, another one is open right then but just the ability to recognize it. It is not actually difficult to recoup your losses if you sell and buy into another company which is healthy but trading below its fair value. The stock market is like politics where there aren't permanent friend or enemy companies but permanent interest of dividends and capital appreciation. Once a company your are in no longer holds the capacity to deliver your interest you defect to another which holds out such prospect. Many investors have been sent to their villages permanently as a consequence of this hold tight syndrome. So Beware. |
fabre4:Meaning that those regions, especially the SE and my own SS, which gave bloc votes to OBJ in 1999 did not have Nigeria at heart. It is now we are beginning to realize the blunder we made in 1999 by using our own hands to deny ourselves of a genuine and clean breakaway from the same old currupt guards we now revile today. Nigerians have always been their own problem but keep blaming the political class. |
NobodyKnows:It seems nobodyknows the answer to your question. Hehehe... Well, on a more serious note, it depends on the company. Some pay twice a year (i.e. interim and final) e.g. GTB, ACCESS, STANBIC IBTC, ZENITH, and the likes; others pay once in a year while some others don't pay every year mostly due to insufficient profits after tax to do so. However, some stubborn ones pay even though they make meaningless profits or even loses. |
AreaFada2:Buhari only inherited those poor economic indices from Shagari. For example you can see that as of Dec 30 1983 the Naira had already fallen from the 0.6 range to the 0.7+ range under Shagari. Buhari's ban on importation was supposed to be the very painful but sure way to economic prosperity. However, his regime was truncated by IBB who ended up putting SAP in place while leaving the borders wide open. |
ebig21:Wrong! Buhari got to power on the very last day of 1983, hence he couldn't have been responsible for the free fall that started under the Shagari who ruled for 364 out of the 365 days in that year. Mind you also that Buhari's regime recorded the least depreciation percentages of the Naira (i.e. by just 25℅) and it was understandably due to his ban on importation. Ironically all those who came after him recorded astronomical percentages of Naira fall without any clear reason... IBB: by over 1,800℅ OBJ: by 450℅ etc. based on these percentages, it is clear that Obasanjo and IBB killed this country. |
abokibuhari:Check very well, Buhari assumed office on the very last day of 1983, and if as of 1983 the Naira was already down to 0.73 from its initial 0.6+ range, then it means it happened under Shagari who reigned for 364 out of the 365 days in 1983. In addition, the Naira fell by less than 25℅ throughout Buhari's tenure, and it is understood that Buhari's ban on importation caused it. But all his successors did not at any time really ban importation yet the Dollar Ironically rose by astronomical percentages. Taking IBB for example, if you work the mathematics based on the figures in the chart you'll arrive at 1,800℅. For OBJ, you'll get 450℅. So your assertion above is not based on careful and deep consideration of the facts but based on emotions of personal hatred. |
iammo:Buhari has never been against the decentralization of police. He recently reiterated his belief in it some few months back. |
capatainrambo:Buhari had before now lent his voice to the decentralization of the police. |
I have never been in doubt that Osinbajo, being of the ACN extraction which is the bastion of restructuring within the APC, will not let any splinter opportunity to restructure any sector slip by. The man's role in the Lagos State's Government quest to clarify LGA creation powers was the first hint to his dogged commitment to restructuring. The modular refineries idea which was almost entirely his is another evidence. This latest one about decentralization of the police further lends credence to his commitment to it despite the CPC wing of the APC's aversion. Unfortunately the man from Otuoke whose region is hardest hit by this unproductive structure spent all his six years in power arguing that Nigeria's problem had nothing to do with structure but only corruption. |
Gurus in the house, any analysis as to why See and Die Leasing is immune to the bears so far? |
ELKHALIFAISIS:After their attempt to blow up the safe inside Keystone Bank failed, they made for the exit and on getting outside a mobile policeman attached to the Unity Bank on the opposite side of the road and who had repositioned himself away from his normal duty spot fired at them and killed three. The rest escaped as they couldn't phantom the direction from which the hail of bullets suddenly came. The mobile policeman in question fired freely because the front of the bank had been deserted by people while the robbers operated inside hence when they came out they alone were in front of the bank and the mobile policeman had the latitude to fire without fear of possible casualty on the side of innocent people. Please where and how did you get your information that one of the dead culprits was flogged? |
ELKHALIFAISIS:Immediately they gained forceful access into the banking hall, some customers saw them. And for the fact that they couldn't have killed all the customers as the bank in question is usually jam-packed, those customers who later identified them as the robbers couldn't have been mistaken. Moreover, that is my LGA HQ and from all the calls that reached me so far, no one is mourning that those killed are his relations. In fact no single resident of the whole town could identify them as familiar faces known in the town. If they were innocents the locals would have rushed them to the hospital immediately rather than keep watching them with the expressions of disgust in their faces as seen in the pictures. |
Adek15:Actually Russia is directly connected to and contiguous to Alaska through the Eastern end. Recall that the earth is spherical. |

Locals examining each of the robbers on the ground after being shot dead by the Mopol on duty right at the front of the Keystone Bank. He was supported by his colleague guarding Unity Bank located on the opposite side of the road.
|
ELKHALIFAISIS:They actually are the culprits. Real eye witnesses right inside the bank have confirmed it. |
ojsmscom:They are the real robbers. Those who were right inside the bank and caught a glimpse of their faces and dresses while they operated have confirmed it. |
adecz:That is my LGA. Most of those "eye" witnesses took to their heels at the sight of those robbers hence their accounts were mere hearsays. What you have here is the genuine account. |
Administration1:You have Igala in Kogi and Igarra in Edo. |
