Lazynigerian1:Our problems started when the 1963 constitution was abolished |
horsepower102:Aburi Accord was an illegality and a purely military document just like this present 1999 constitution. It lacked the seal of the people's sovereignty. Can you please mention the name of the person who represented your federal constituency in Aburi during the sitting? Aburi Accord wasn't a constitution but just an assortment of agreements poorly thought out and hurriedly compiled by soldiers who have no deep knowledge on how to make laws through the universal legislative principles and process. Can you defend the fact that Aburi Accord had nothing on elections and democratic governance? It was just a seven point agreement among soldiers regarding how they were going to share power among themselves across regional lines |
ednut1:It was on its way to eldorado in 1963 before Ironsi shattered everything. |
jaxxy:Just like you are heavily biased against Tinubu, right? I have given you hard facts which are available to the public regarding Obasanjo's misrule and his setting the stage for all the ills currently bedeviling the country but you still remain bereft of any fact-based refuttal. Isn't that alone instructive enough that you are the one whose opinion is founded on bias? jaxxy:If Obasanjo's hands were clean of those assassinations then how come he couldn't open a single investigation into them and how come political assassinations became history as soon as he left office? Your governors angle to it is most ridiculous. Even governors despite being equally elected as himself were not spared of his abuse of power as some of them, e.g. Ngige of Anambra, who was kidnapped as a sitting governor for refusing to be Obasanjo's yes man. I guess the governors were the ones kidnapping themselves, right? Some were illegally impeached by minority legislators in their state assemblies. Who among his successors was that power drunk and despotic? jaxxy:That is why I refered you to the dictionary for the meaning of intelligence which is all about having the ability to deploy one's knowledge and other personal endowments for positive use while cleverness and duplicity is the tendency to put same to negative use. That is how morality comes in. jaxxy:Unfortunately you could not untwist the facts because you really have no genuine rebuttal but insinuations of bias and mere empty dismissals and rhetorics. jaxxy:Under Jonathan elections became far more credible than what they were under Obasanjo and Tribunals became less and less burdened by election petitions. Under Yaradua political assassinations began to abate and Boko Haram began being confronted by the State Security apparatii. Niger Delta Militancy began to abate courtesy of the amnesty offer which though was a poorly thought out afterthought approach but at least an improvement over Obasanjo's use of state sponsored genocides. Under Jonathan politics stopped being a do or die affair with Jonathan himself congratulating opposition candidates who defeated his own party's candidates. Obasanjo couldn't have ever done that in his life hence remains the least of a statesman among all our past leaders. With Buhari, despite his failures on security, he has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to separation of powers which Obasanjo was not known with. A Saraki-like rise to Senate president couldn't have happened under Obasanjo as he would have deployed both money and the police to disrupt that legislature election in favour of his personal loyalist and stooge. Also, Buhari has been tolerant of criticism more than Obasanjo. You want more? jaxxy:Needed more time to sleep with his son's wife, harass the opposition, bribe the National Assembly with cash filled Ghana must go bags amidst hunger in the land, grant himself more licenses for private university, etc, right? If two terms were not enough to make impact those who designed modern democracy wouldn't have limited an individuals maximum reign two terms of four years each. In fact a serious president would make impact even in one term of four years. And come to think of it there are people who sincerely believe that Buhari needs more time to complete his works which to them is good. But none of them has ever been heard suggesting a third term for him because they know it would amount to monumental illegality that could spell the final end of Nigeria. Same with those who sincerely perceived Jonathan to be working well as president. jaxxy:Go and read up the PDP NWC report and recommendations on power rotation and you would see that Obasanjo's seeking of even second term was a violation of what he and the PDP family and and his godfathers like Atiku and IBB agreed on power transfer as condition to handing him the party's ticket that year. Why did he later prostrate to beg Atiku to allow him a second term? Atiku was even the person who defended himself. After all his crushing of the evil third term plot was a patriotic and nationalistic act which forestalled a constitutional crisis that could have culminated in a second civil war. Why not rather cite instances of Tinubu's, Yaradua's or even Buhari's pursuit of am illegality and then turning around to hound their deputies for rallying forces against such bid? jaxxy:An apostle of political correctness like you can go any length to tell an obvious lie. Right now Sanwolu has increased pensioners wages in furtherance of the Tinubu template for Lagos State and pensioners are applauding that but tomorrow you will rise again to claim that Sanwolu's era saw the state owing pensioners. You can only deceive yourself not those who have the facts on their finger tips. jaxxy:You have nothing to say really. You obviously benefited from Obasanjo's rotten style of governance and the profligacy he perpetrated hence your self imposed burden to remain his apologist even when posterity continues to embarrass you with the bad consequences of his misrule. |
Emzenoz:From the fact that the communities felt concerned and offered to recruit teachers for public schools and be paying them, you should have been able to deduce that the government has so much failed to the extent that the community was compelled to intervene. If all is well and the government is living up to expectations as regards teachers recruitment and payment of their salaries would any community make such an offer? I myself belong to an alumni group of my secondary school where the situation of only seven teachers to a school of over 1,000 students compelled us to levy ourselves monthly to employ teachers into the school and be paying their salaries because the government has continued to show no concern over the situation for the past four years despite chanting Edo Best |
Emzenoz:So closing nearly every state-owned institutions in the state amidst secondary school teachers salaries now being paid by the host communities or alumni associations added to the darkness that now defines Benin City at night unlike before now, etc are features of good governance? Hehehe.. |
jaxxy:I never knew you are a mind reader to have known Tinubu's so-called ulterior motive behind the creation of local governments. Tinubu did the exercise as a response to calls upon him by Lagosians themselves to do so. It wasn't his own original idea by the way. You are not different from Shagari who took Ambrose Alli to Court for creating LCDAs in the then Bendel State on the accusation that he had ulterior motives behind it. And if I may ask, is democracy now about what someone somewhere suspects about some other person or what the law says? And your likes will later come up tomorrow to cry about the loss of rule of law after supporting Obasanjo's disregard for rule of law on the excuse that Tinubu had ulterior motives. Is Obasanjo a native of Lagos State? What exactly was his stake in Lagos? Did he know what Lagosians want more than the Lagosians themselves? Lagosians accepted and welcome the LCDA. So Obasanjo alone was wiser than all the Lagosians who asked for more LGAs? Like I said, with your likes absurdly and arbitrariness will continue to take the place of the rule of law because you feel you know everyone else's intention. And what was Obasanjo's own good intentions for seeking an unconstitutional third term? Please quit this line of argument. It has no basis in law and even in the morality you arrogated to yourself and Obasanjo. jaxxy:Unfortunately you could have only been able to prove your accusation of bias against me by simply furnishing me with contrary facts and superior arguments to disprove my submissions. We all went to school and were taught that debates are won with only logical arguments woven around facts and not on sentiments and empty dismissal of the opponent's posers. So until you prove wrong those submissions of mine you will have said nothing that can be taken seriously. Only in Nigeria will Obasanjo appear as intelligent to some folks. A intelligent person who was convening Oputa Panel to purportedly address human rights violations of the past yet he himself was busy violating even human lives in Odi and Zakibiam while his Oputa Panel was sitting and holding public hearings. It seems you equate intelligence with cleverness and duplicity. Of course IBB was negativity intelligent hence rightly named himself an evil genius so any surprise therefore that he was attracted to the choice of Obasanjo who shared the same type of intelligence like him? An intelligent man who looked the other way and pretended not to be aware that an identical situation for which he levelled Odi and Zakibiam was playing out right in his home town of Ota in Ogun State. Double Standards and craftiness is not intelligence. Only in Nigeria have words so lost their meanings that values have become totally eroded. Even in the game of dubious intelligence he was still beaten black and blue by Atiku as regards the cornering of juicy assets to self during the dubious privatization exercise hence his later witch-hunt of Atiku with EFCC. He was intelligent yet he granted himself University License as a sitting president against the ethics of office. There are some very glaring blunders which a genuinely intelligent person will not even allow himself to be associated with let alone commit. Again, if he were truly intelligent and smart he should have known that to keep increasing fuel pump price for up to 10 times without having been able to give account of how the proceeds from the previous increments were spent was actually a very idiotic thing to do in a position where public perception matters. An intelligent man whose son publicly accused him of sleeping with his wife. You are indeed a comedian. Obasanjo was simply morally bankrupt. His lack of genuine positive intelligence was most evidenced by his rejection by his own kinsmen in 1999 election. Even in subsequent elections the verdict remained as his party's candidates were always rejected right in his pollen booth, ward, LGA and Senatorial District. You alone know the nebulous parameters by which you measure intelligence. jaxxy:He met a relatively more stable Nigeria than all his successors. For example, he was ushered in with a fairly credible election but at his departure elections had become a do-or-die affair with he himself so declaring publicly before the whole world. The election which brought him in had no records of manipulation and terror even though it was conducted by the dreaded military but all the subsequent ones he conducted were so terrible that international observers simply wrote them off so even his handpicked successor confessed that the election he organized was a sham. Now mention any of his successors rated so poorly in elections transparency and peacefulness if you have any atom of honesty in you. Political assassinations became a culture and norm under him with examples like Funsho Williams, Daramola of Ekiti, Harry Marshall, Dekibo, and over 20 others. Can you mention just one political assassination recorded under any of his successors? So what exactly are the adjustments he made that you alone see? jaxxy:Unfortunately you have repeatedly failed to mention these good works. Rather you were expecting Yaradua or Jonathan to have continued with his "good" works of electoral heist, state sponsored genocides, profligacy, heating up of the polity through bickering with their deputies, inducement of the legislature for criminal alteration of the constitution towards self perpetuation in office, sponsorship of political assassinations, hounding of the opposition, incessant pump price increments, stealing through power sector reforms that produced greater darkness, allowing a potentially deadly terrorist group the latitude to consolidate and win converts just because of political capital, etc. jaxxy:Obasanjo was not an example to any reasonable person. The Yaradua whom most Nigerians have come to believe displayed ideal leadership credentials, albeit controversial, never accepted Obasanjo's mentorship hence Obasanjo didn't take long to as usual start his destructive criticism of his administration. Same with Jonathan and even Buhari. A man who sees himself alone as good definitely is actually a defective character and a failure. Need jaxxy:I can't believe that you are equating debt forgiveness with debt repayment. This is ridiculous. And didn't Obasanjo later go aborrowing after securing the debt forgiveness? Why are you wasting your sterling comedy talents on NL when the likes of I go die and Teju Babyface are raking millions and smiling to the banks everyday with their dry jokes? jaxxy:So he could think on his feet but couldn't use that ability to think of how to repay our debts but only began to beg for debt forgiveness? He couldn't use that endowment to put. the refineries in order even with the mountainous proceeds of his ten whooping pump price increments? He couldn't use that his thinking ability to phantom that a restructured Nigeria was the panacea to nearly all our woes but only realized this 13 years after leaving power? Honestly you are a typical Nigerian with flair for political correctness. jaxxy:And you forgot that your great thinker and blue print possessor Obasanjo was all out in support of the ambition of the same blueprintless Buhari only to fall out with him for being sidelined in relevance. jaxxy:Unfortunately those analyses of yours failed the test of scrutiny of the posers I placed against them right here. All you could do was to dismiss them without any facts based rebuttal. In actual fact Obasanjo is the worst because all the foundations of the elusive and intricate challenges faced by his predecessors were laid by him not in error but in a deliberate bid to bloat his ego and enrich himself and his cronies at a time it would have been easier to nip all those challenges in the bud. jaxxy:Tinubu's tenure which saw the continued payment of salaries and carrying out of projects amidst Obasanjo's seizure of funds is what you call worst? Like I said you are a typical Nigerian with a fixation for political correctness. Fashola's tenures raised the bar of Goo governance in Nigeria and it remains a standard of reference nationwide. You alone think otherwise. jaxxy:Atiku's fight with Obasanjo or Obasanjo's fight with Atiku? Obasanjo it was that fought Atiku for the "crime" of contributing to the crushing of his evil third term bid. And what exactly did Obasanjo tolerate from Atiku? If anything Atiku it was who tolerated pure nonsense from Obasanjo. Without Atiku and IBB Obasanjo might not have ever smelt power a second time. But how did Obasanjo treat these two folks after getting to office? Neither Jonathan nor Yaradua was as vindictive and arrogant as Obasanjo to provoke their deputies into a battle for political supremacy. Yaradua never sought third term. Neither did Jonathan or Buhari. Let Buhari seek tenure elongation today and see the other side of Osinbajo. jaxxy:Please counter my facts based position with superior contrary facts and logical arguments and quit this sentiments game. Then stop this pontification on morality about matters purely of legality versus otherwise. And lastly, justify your anti-tinubu bias with unassailable facts rather than politically correct suppositions and assumptions. |
wink2015:If you really know the economic potentials of Edo State you will even be happy that Bendel State was split. Let this electricity powered cars prospect become a worldwide reality and crude oil will become relatively worthless and you will marvel at the advantage Edo has over many other states especially in an atmosphere of true federalism. There is hardly any mineral resource that Edo State doesn't have a fair share of its deposit. Then talk of arable land.....Edo is number one. Hasn't it ever occurred to you that after Lagos State, Edo State comes second in terms of being host to companies listed on the Nigerian Stock exchange? Edo State is only suffering lack of real technocrats and economic experts in Osadebe House. Edo State was made to appear non-viable because of Lucky Igbinedion's monumental misrule and if care is not taken Obaseki might end up on a similar route like Lucky going by the way things currently are in Edo State. |
dumiel:Nigeria is far larger, more pluralistic and more complex than Ghana for such suggestion to work. Recall that Nzeogwu and co tried it and it led to the Nigerian tragedy we hopelessly grapple with till today and that they themselves did not live to see the tail end of it. |
My own unanswered question to the Torgbarians, Ogbanes and 4 + 4ists is that why is their lord now finding it difficult to pay salaries and even avoiding appointment of aides and other things which have running cost now that he has more funds at his disposal on account of having cut off the hands of the godfathers, lions and tigers from the state's coffers? This is always the end result when people vote on sympathy and sentiments than on germane issues. People were simply fooled with the theory that Oshiomhole and his gang were seeking to be godfathers in perpetual control of the state's treasury. I will rather beg AAU lecturers to stop crying and face the reality they brought upon themselves by joining majority to reelect Obaseki. If the stoppage of their salaries and harassment by the police is their own sacrifice in contribution to the purported end of godfatherism in Edo State I think they should be happy having it like that. You can't eat your cake and have it. There is always an opportunity cost for every choice people make. Hilary Rodham Clinton says and I quote....."People must learn to live with the consequences of their choices". |
wink2015:But now that he has succeeded in blocking Oshiomhole's alleged lust after the said money added to the supposed fact that he never shared the money to Oshiomhole and his thugs, what is now stopping him from paying salaries from the bigger funds now supposedly available to him courtesy of cutting the thugs and godfathers off? |
jaxxy:I already noted that the evidences for Obasanjo's misrule and directionless government are too numerous to mention exhaustively hence that covered his fight with Atiku which was also for a selfish and ego boosting pursuit thus having nothing whatsoever do do with genuine public interest. Recall that Atiku became corrupt in his eyes and deserving of EFCC investigation only after he (Atiku) successfully worked against his evil third term bid. jaxxy:Unfortunately, if the primary objective of the existence of government is the standard, Obasanjo is worse than each and every of his successors. The existential problem facing us today as citizens had their beginning in Obasanjo's administration but he chose to do nothing about it because he wanted political capital as he himself recently confessed. Security of lives and property is the most important task of any government so Obasanjo's choice of deliberately allowing a potential terrorist group the free atmosphere to thrive puts him far below all his successors on the scale of good governance. We all recall how the Nigerian police, not even the Army, on Yaradua's order killed over 800 Boko Haram members in just one pro-active attack on the group's base in Kano in 2009. That is how to handle a potential terrorist group. Obasanjo has no record of such onslaught on Boko Haram despite the group came into existence during his reign. But ironically the same Obasanjo has been an advocate of dialogue between the FG and Boko Haram. He has visited Boko Haram headquarters in Maiduguri twice and given monetary gifts to them at least two times. If you want a link to the story I will gladly furnish you with it here. In essence Obasanjo is at the root of the insecurity situation in our hands today. Secondly and still on the insecurity issue, the culture of kidnapping Militancy and all other manifestations of violence got birthed under him courtesy of the importation of arms for election prosecution and his handling of the Odi and Zakibiam crisis by way of killing thousands of innocent civilians for the reprisal attacks by few hooligans against soldiers who conducted themselves unprofessionally in their communities. That was what inspired loss of confidence in the nation's security apparatus as regards justice administration hence the resort to self help through militancy which has become a national challenge today in various metamorphosed forms. None of Obasanjo's successors ever ordered genocides in communities where hoodlums assaulted security operatives. jaxxy:It seems unity has taken another meaning in your own dictionary. Nothing is potentially more divisive than any move that portends a constitutional crisis and and war which his third term bid passed for. jaxxy:And how many issues was he able to fix in his purportedly inenough time to warrant the juxtaposition that he could have fixed all if given a proportionate time extension? If anything, he fixed nothing. Is it refineries he fixed or electricity or railway system or what exactly? The Nigerian textile mill industry died under his watch as over 320 textile companies closed down within his eight years of reign. He only fixed his pocket by his fraudulent privatization of certain national assets. How could a man who never intended to become president in the first instance have a blueprint? You are just a comedian. EFCC is not an achievement. Rather, it was another manifestation of the ineptitude of Obasanjo because the agency was an unnecessary duplication of the criminal investigation department of the Nigerian Police hence the holistic approach to anti-corruption war was to overhaul the entire police with the retirement of the old bad eggs and recruitment of new and fresh hands from different professional disciplines. The existence in the EFCC Act the clause that the EFCC chairman must seek presidential approval before arresting any suspect of financial crimes lays it bare that the agency was created by the theiving elite, Obasanjo inclusive, to shield themselves from prosecution and also as a tool of witch-hunt of political opponents. Ask why corruption has continued to grow in Nigeria at a rate previously unknown beginning from when EFCC came into being. jaxxy:This is political correctness at best. Ibori controls Delta politics today without creating additional LGAs. Saraki controlled power in Kwara for long without creating LGAs, Obasanjo recently hypocritically supported ex-governor Ibikunle Amosun's creation of LCDAs in Ogun State with Obasanjo's home town of Ibogun being made the headquarters of one of the LCDAs which he appreciated by donating one of his landed property for use to house the new secretariat. Does that mean Obasanjo too now wants to hold onto power in Ogun State? Find below the story https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/248817-obasanjo-rents-25-room-building-n10-per-annum-local-govt.html Can you see Obasanjo going as far as supporting the creation of 52 LCDAs in his own Ogun State on the argument that it will bring governance closer to the people yet the same man fought vehemently against that of Lagos State as if that of Lagos was going to take away government far from Lagosians? And if I may ask, didn't Lagosians applaud and welcome it when Tinubu did it? So Obasanjo knew what was in the interest of Lagosians more than Lagosians themselves who applauded Tinubu for it? Your likes don't cease to amaze me with your tendency to politicize nearly everything. LGA creation is actually all about addressing the social injustice of Northern States like Kano having as much as 44 LGAs and deriving bigger national allocation for contributing relatively nothing to the national coffers while states like Bayelsa, Lagos etc get pittance for having few LGAs despite contributing hugest to the national coffers. Only those seeking political correctness will give it any other explanation. jaxxy:Obasanjo was a failure in summary as he was a product of the military establishment of the Northern Oligarchy and its Southern Collaborators. |
jaxxy:So how exactly did Obasanjo end up fixing and uniting the country when Northerners cried of marginalization throughout his reign? How come he united the country with his ordered genocides in Odi and Zakibiam and his decision to, in pursuit of political capital for 2003 election, ignore Boko Haram when it could have been nipped in the bud very easily? If the duty of fixing power in Ogun State and nationwide was not his as you would have us believe, then why did he delve into power sector reforms through which he ended up stealing $16.6bn as revealed by Yaradua his own anointed and imposed godson? Was the pettiness of fighting Lagos State and withholding her allocation over LGAs creation which he occupied himself with also part of the bigger and more relevant national issues you claim he had to deal with? Was his seeking of a third term which could have led to a constitutional crisis and a possible second civil war an act of uniting the nation? Were his introduction of godfatherism, politics of candidates imposition, political assassinations, ballot box snatching and gun shots at pooling booths all part of the bigger national task of uniting the country which you credit him with? What of his gag on the press which saw him demolish AIT building twice in Abuja? The list of Obasanjo's misrule is endless. A man who was largely a good president according to you but was so insensitive that on his last day in office he did his eleventh increase in pump price even though he had absolutely nothing to show for his ten previous increases. You can defend Obasanjo because he is your brother from Ogun State but we all actually know that he was a man who had a very good chance to give Nigeria a genuine beginning through a total overhaul of the system thus setting the country's foot back on the path of rapid development and industrialization from which his military establishment derailed it in 1966 but failed to achieve due to his pettiness, bloated ego and ineptitude. |
LordDarius:Quota system not quarter system. |
Indispensable85:It is just unfortunate that Edo State voters have fallen this low in intelligence. The same Edo State that used to parade accomplished intellectuals who could easily filter lies from facts. I think it is all due to the fact that most voters in the state now are predominantly of the indomie generation who suffered the poor quality of education wrought by the terribly delapidated quality of schools which the state experienced under Lucky Igbinedion. |
Jimasun:I was too enlightened to have ever lent my voice to the Edo-no-be-Lagos chorus of deception and camouflage for underperformance. I didn't ever join it. Back then those of us who dissented were regarded as enemies of progress and purveyors of the retention of the status quo of godfatherism. All our logical analyses woven on hard facts sounded like thrash in the eyes of the hoodwinked torgberians. It was really a harrowing moment for us. But thank God today that it didn't take long for the whole narrative to crash like a pack of cards to our vindication. |
Indispensable85:I don't think so. If my memory has not failed me I think he even had a good showing in some Etsako LGAs. That his no-to-godfatherism gimmick really swept people off their feet even in Etsako to my surprise. Remember that it was Oshiomhole's own ward chairman in Etsako that was used to fight Oshiomhole's alleged attempt to become godfather? |
ekhai:In my own alma mater secondary school with over one thousand students, the salaries of the only seven teachers there is being paid by the old boys association. Same with nearly every other secondary school in my home town. |
dhestiney:Edo State people are unfortunately the easiest set of Nigerians to sway with sentiments and victim card playing. |
Indispensable85:Are you surprised that Edo people fell for that crap of a campaign point? That wasn't the first time. Edo State people are very easy to hoodwink with such tales. Wasn't it in Edo State that people fell for the more stupid gimmick in 1999 that Lucky Igbinedion would govern well on account of the fact that he used to share his salary for market women when he was Oredo LGA chairman? Rather than assess Lucky based on how judiciously he spent the public revenues that accrued to his office as Oredo LGA chairman they were assessing him with how he spent his salary which was his private money hence owed no one any explanation how he spent it. The public revenue which really concerned them and affects them directly, they ignored it. In Obaseki's case they failed to wonder how a product of godfatherism was genuinely going to fight godfatherism and how a man who couldn't pay his own appointed aides decent wages had the morality to complain of being pressured to share the state's resources. That is Edo State voters for you. |
Indispensable85:On my way to PH from Lagos three weeks ago nightfall caught me in Benin so I had to stop over to continue the next day. I was so shocked by how thick the darkness that enveloped Benin City was as compared with the situation prior to this time. No single street light was on. Ring Road was as dark as charcoal. I only saw light in the hotel I lodged in. Then I kept wondering what this man now spends the supposedly bigger state revenue on after purportedly stopping the godfathers, lions and tigers from access to the state's coffers. |
Indispensable85:and demolishing houses. But my own greatest surprise in all these is that the torgbarians are now nowhere to be found. Their silence is too loud and hypocritic. |
AkalaJ:Edo State has simply returned to the Lucky Igbinedion dark days. |
nervorum:Exactly! People who see everything through the lenses of Nigerian politics are the ones who are vulnerable to the assumption that Israel is a Christin nation. In actual fact they claim to be Christians but hardly study their bibles. It is so unfortunate. |
Patrioticman007:Provinces creation not states creation. You are talking about Aguiyi Ironsi right? That is the biggest fool to ever rule this country. He came and destroyed a perfectly working world class model system of government because of some demonic domination agenda. However, there is the need for Nigeria to now return to the status quo ante. Whoever chooses to stand against the present call for restructuring is actually not different from Ironsi. Going by the APC main campaign point, Buhari should have by now sponsored to the National Assembly a bill seeking to weaken the centre and devolve more powers to the state's and create State Police and if the national assembly kills the bill then the blame for the present insecurity and other challenges will stop being directed at him but at the National Assembly. |
ivolt:So you mean you didn't see the part of the report that clearly states as follows: "History was officially deleted from primary and secondary school curriculum in 2007 when former President Olusegun Obasanjo was in power."? Which specific dates do you want again outside the years stated as you yourself agreed? Who and who were in power in those years referenced? Are years not dates? |
Turantula:. This alone shows that you are not even a genuine Christian, otherwise you would have known that Israel is not a Christian nation in the first instance and that all they are going through today in the hands of Hamas has its basis in the curse placed upon them by Jesus for their rejection of him and his Christian salvation message as the messiah. In addition, even some Palestinians are Christians hence what is happening between Israel and Hamas is not a basically a Christian vs moslem confrontation. In the speech given by the leader of Israel, that is if you read at all, he made himself clear that Israel doesn't genuinely wish to attack the Palestinian civil populace which is predominantly moslem but is being provoked to it by Hamas. But how will you know all these nuances when you depend on Lamidi Cownu's guidance founded on pure lies and revisionist tales? A typical IPIG and Lamidi Cownu slave suffers the incurable disease of assuming that anyone who takes a stand against the domination agenda of his Igbo kinsmen both in the past and present must be a moslem. What a way to shy away from a facts and logic based challenge! A lot of Christian monickers here like myself have always challenged you IPIGs with unassailable facts and logical arguments which prove that Nigeria's problems started courtesy of the greed and domination agenda of your forebears like Zik, Ironsi, Ojukwu, Orizu, Ifeajuna, etc but for lack of any superior counter argument you save face by resorting to moslem label as if that changes anything about the history of your domination agenda which backfired and consumed 3 million of you. Keep fooling yourself. |
Turantula:The usual and incurable Igbo disease of assuming that it takes only a moslem from the SW or North to take a stand against Igbo politicians misadventure of the past and present. That you yourself were being paid a stipend of 5k per month from 1999 to 2015 to defend Obasanjo, Yaradua and Jonathan doesn't mean everyone is like you. Why not address the posers raised? And how exactly is the issue of how you greedy and land grabbing folks put yourselves in harm's way by trying to subdue all other tribes through your senseless Igbo coup related to the stale, harkneyed and expired 30k line you just tried to pull up? The typical ipig would bring up an issue about the past but once you engage him with superior counter facts and arguments he quickly changes the topic to the issue of defense for Buhari. They find it so difficult to maintain a single line of argument just like their Lord and slave master Lamidi Cownu. |
ivolt:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ripplesnigeria.com/buhari-revokes-obasanjos-policy-returns-history-to-schools-curriculum/%3famp |
blazepascal:And you assume that restoring history will not as well reveal how Biafran soldiers killed innocent civilians in the Midwestern Region and other areas of today South South Region, right? Who started the whole trouble by carrying out a coup that saw the assassination of political leaders of other regions but left theirs to escape unhurt despite they were all part of the allegedly corrupt and coup-deserving government? |
UndilutedFaxt:So you really believe this tale of yours that Benue crisis started only after Buhari/APC was sworn into power? Some of you are too desperate for political correctness. |
membranus:If the removal of history was a Fulani script as you would have us believe, then how come Buhari, a Fulani man, happens to be the one who recently restored it to the curriculum? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ripplesnigeria.com/buhari-revokes-obasanjos-policy-returns-history-to-schools-curriculum/%3famp Also, you seem to have forgotten that Fulanis complained of being marginalized throughout Obasanjo's government? How could a people whose script was supposedly being acted out by Obasanjo be the very ones to find his government as oppressive to them? |
