Romance › Re: My Fiancee Jokingly Said She Will Separate Me And My Brother When We Get Married by deavicky(m): 11:45am On Jan 26, 2023 |
Ndubuisipaul1: My fiancee told my younger brother that she will send him out of my house if we get married. She was joking, but it didn't sound like a joke to me.
Let me tell you how this started. My younger brother told my fiancee jokingly, that he will be sending her on errand anyhow, when she marries me. Although he went too far for saying he will be sending her on errand anyhow. But he has every right to send her on errand because he senior her. She then replied that if my brother do anyhow, when we get married she will ask me to send him away from my house. At this point I stop seeing the whole discussion as joke. I asked her to repeat what she said, she repeated it again (take note: she was saying everything jokingly)
I told her right away that if my brother comes visiting when we get married, she will not send him away. She said she will use her woman power to make me send him away.
She went further to ask me, that if they ask me now to choose between her and my brother who would I choose. I told her I would choose my brother (she could see the seriousness in me).
And I really meant it, any girl that will separate me and my brother will have to use jazz .
This my younger brother established the business that I am doing today. Has done countless number of things for me.
We don't joke with each other, and she knows that.
So am really scared, could this be a joke ? even though it a joke. How can a woman joke that she will separate two brothers ?
Nairalanders, please help a brother with your advice. is this a red flag ? what make u think ur brother has the right to send her at will?. U even concoring to that. U don't even like the girl. |

Na wa oh!!!!! This is becoming interesting. Even APC does not want APC to win because they know that Tinubu is evil. Come to talk of it, which one is Tinubu stands. In 2012 he said they should not remove subsidy (he lead group of people to demonstrate against Jonathan)in 2023 he said whether we like it or not they will remove subsidy. Now is he saying Buhari is causing fuel scarcity for him not win the election. This brings me to asking, why is he complaining or is he the only presidential aspirant. |

SavageResponse: A lot depends on the type of house and the location of the site.
But even if what you're building is just a very small bungalow 3 million will probably only take you to lintel or roofing level.
There's no point going to tie down your money if what you have is not enough to take the house to a reasonable level. if he has a land already I think he can build a moderate 2 bedroom to an extent. It take about 2500 block to to build that.let me just give a small breakdown. 1. Block 6" 2500×300=750,000 To lay the block let's say #100 per block(my area I can still pay #70 2. 2500×100= 250000 Cement 1 bag should lay 100 blocks. Let's say 30 bags × 5000 =150000. Sand and granite 300k. Rod for lintel 100k he can then go for a cheap roofing option. |

To cut the story short I landed a customer support job due to research I made online and I aced the interview...lo and behold I was sent a mail that I should resume on Monday but here I am having a panic attack as I did not know what to do since the job is a social science job but I am a technical person with engineering background. I am accepting the job because of the salary, financial challenge I am currently facing and the job is partly remote.
Please kindly share your experience with me if you ever work in a customer support centre and what software is used.

flejnr2: The level of your illiteracy is that you would have enquired how much a gallon of good palm wine from Enugu ezzike is sold, a gallon(4litres) on a normal market day is sold 8k and in festive period sold from 20k-30k due to demand and the smallest wine seller comes to market with not less than 3 gallons in a day. so a normal wine tapper in Igbo land that has enough palm trees that are his own is not ya mate on a normal day , he might be selling more than 50gallons a day with his contact while I had to stop and go back to my calculator. You try well well. He must have a palm plantation that never dries. |

HeRulesMen: I don't know if this is the right section to post this, if not, mod please take it to the right section.
My online brothers and sisters, help me thank God for preserving my life as I almost left this wicked world last Friday, 13th January, 2023. 13th January has become a day I will never forget in life. Since I graduated from the university, I am yet to get a job that is well-deserving of my status. I'm not talking about big jobs with heavy remuneration (not as though I won't grab it if I see one of such) but just something to earn a living from. The last salaried job I did was a contract job which lasted only 6 months. Since then, despite my efforts, applying to every nook and cranny to land a job, I have been unlucky. However, I still keep hope alive.
However, it makes me think Nigeria really need to redefine and re-axamine the value of education in the country and what it stands for. Does it stand for nation building or for frustration? That is something for another day BTW.
Back to the topic, so with a woman and two kids to take care of, I had to go do labourer job at a construction site to earn something. That Friday was my second day in the place. I never thought it would end in disaster but I thank God that even after falling from such a distance, I didn't die, neither the mason man that was on the scaffold.
The thing is that I was carrying mortar and blocks to the mason, climbing using ladder. You know this local scaffold builders use. That thing they nailed together as V 'abi' L, place them on the wall and put planks on top to stand on. I don't know what happened that the blocks put at one end to weigh its balance failed while I was already up there. Long story short, everything collapsed and that was how we landed on the ground from the finishing end of the building. It should be a distance of 12 feet or more.
What worsened the case was the mason. As the scaffold collapsed, he immediately and unconsciously grabbed the newly laid blocks in safety attempt, not remembering he just laid those blocks. You know that kind thing. Landing on ground, that was how those blocks came upon us in their number like some sort of blast. To top it all, I didn't earn a penny that day. The man is even blaming us for the collapse.
I sustained injuries but my waist especially seems to have dislocated as a result of hitting it on ground while landin. I have been feeling sharp pains from the inside since then.
Since that Friday, I have been down physically and psychologically. As I am reflecting on it today, I decided to write it down.
No matter how it has affected me, physically, psychologically, economically and health-wise, I still thank God for sparing my life and I want you to join me in thanking him.
Thank you for reading also. if say money dey u for go check for internal bleeding. |
