I and my gal are planning settling down despite genotype not matching , she's AS same with me, but because of medical technological advancements, we visited a specialist who told us that we can still marry if we so desired to be together.

Just that If we can afford the cost of going for foetus testing whenever she's pregnant so as to ascertain the genotype of the child. According to him if the test is conducted and it turns out to be AA or AS, we can keep it, but if it's SS we determate, I have spoken to my gal and we are yet a decide despite this seeming goodnews that we can still be together if we choose to, she really wanted us together same with me.
On my part, I have been in terrible and toxic relationship for the past 4years that almost claimed my life but God served from her. And this my current gal came along and she's exactly what I prayed God for, she's really like a gift to me, since she came I have had peace of mind I don't want to loose her because of genotype but thank God for this technically medical advancement , please I want to know if anyone have undergone this treatment before , what's your experience or experiences

u just want to stress urself for nothing. Nigeria here, where doctor they advice you to check ur genotype twice meaning say they are never sure of their test. Na the same place u want go begin test foetus.
The had truth is that u have to leave that girl u will get a better one. I know say na ur fear be that.
Don't take this advice softly because I was there for 3 times before I finally got married.

My Marriage is so sweet and lovely. For example in my house now, they had turn me to baby nurse and a domestic staff. Before I go to work I carry baby and when I Come back carry baby again tell I sleep. Thank God for budwieser that keeps me away from home sometimes if not I for don craze

I work in a lounge in sabo and i'm paid 11000 a month.I have served my boss faithfully and dilligently for months during the course of my stay in this shop despite being owed salary.Even when other workers left citing underpayment and workload,i still stayed.
It happened that during governorship election season,our lounge was robbed.The robbers made away with 194,000 new naira notes my boss kept in his office. what was more shocking that the robbery was a clean one meaning the robbers had access to the key to his office.It's only me and my boss that have the keys so I was questioned and interrogated.I didn't know anything about it and so I said.I was beaten and bruised.
Nobody believe me say i dey innocent

Police came and i was detained.i was in cell for 13 days(i hear am for cell God)before being released last week.I was rold the culprit has been found.It was my boss mistress and brother that planned it.How they knew about the money is what i don't know.

I am the first child of my mother, and I have two younger male siblings. I am doing well financially. My wife is the last of four children in her family. My dad died when I was still in the university, and this affected my mum.

However, as she aged, her health waned. She was a retired teacher. My brothers are not in the country. Both of them are in Europe. I wanted to have my mother stay with me in her later years because of her health and loneliness but my wife did not want it.

They said that marriage was between a man and his wife, not between a man, his wife, and his mother. I did and peace returned. Eventually my mum passed on after a few years.

Along the line, my father in law also died. And down the line, my mother in law's health began to deteriorate. We live in the same town. Among my wife's siblings she is the only one doing quite well. Now there are suggestions that the mother should come and live with us so that my wife can give her proper care. I believe that her living with us and seeing her grandchildren will help her. And indeed i have no problem accepting her, but when i remember the treatment my wife gave to my mum, there is a strong revulsion, in fact, anger in me. I shared with a friend, and he advised i forgive my wife, but the revulsion is so strong that i would feel cheated if i agreed.

What do you guys think. She reminded me then that marriage was between a man and his wife only. Shouldn't this also apply to my wife now?

your mum would have leaved a bit long if u had allow her stay with you. Let the same rule of man and wife should still alone apply here if not ur mum in her grave will weep for u.

Okay. I've this burden on my chest for over a year now and they say a problem shared is a problem half solved (or multiplied)

So, I've this friend who lives with a woman and her little son. He and the lady are of the same age group. The husband, who is in the US is fully aware of this situation. Note: they stay in the same room and even sleep on the same bed. Also this guy's family house is just a stone's throw from the lady's house but he hardly ever visits there and hasn't passed a night there in over 4 years. If you're new to the area, you'll be forgiven if you address them as man and wife.


My main purpose of creating this thread is not to pass judgement on anybody but to seek your opinions. As a married man, will you be comfortable with your unmarried friend staying with your wife while you're overseas. As an unmarried guy, will you be comfortable living with your friend's wife.

She took to Twitter to share before and after photos showing her amazing transformation six years after walking out on her marriage with her two children.

The 30-year-old mother of two shared her story via Twitter when she celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

“This is what I looked like when I walked out of my marriage in 2017 with two toddlers. I just clocked 30, I was mentally,
emotionally and financially drained. I was tired and i knew i had to walk away. Did i know what i was going to do next? No but i walked,” she wrote.

"Okay let me tell you why it looks all shitty, I left my marriage clueless about the next thing to do but knew I had to run for my life yet I has no family support. I was not lucky to come from a stable family background, my ex saw this and capitalised on it.

"The marriage was 4 years old as at when it officially ended but it was dead from the beginning. I know the judginas will ask if I didn't see the red flag...well story for another day but well the deed has been done and now I have two kids who had no fault.

"My entire desire was to protect my kids. I mean they know nothing about the folly and stupidity of the parents that brought them to this world. I saved up and got my own apartment. I remember crying so much the first night I moved into my new home. I was scared.

"I had never gone on this kind of journey before and i don't know how to walk this path. I was totally confused and clueless. I was more afraid for my kids, scared they would suffer which i do not want, what if they fall sick and I can't take care of them? So many what ifs.

"All these was in 2017....this is 2023 and yes it has not been a smooth journey...my life has taken a pause because I was not opportune to have a family support and I had to learn, unlearn and relearn on my own. My career has suffered so much. Yes.

"My wants, desires has all been pushed to the base because I can't afford all at once so my kids come first..it has not been an easy ride doing this alone, no single financial support from the man who bore them even though he has 100% access to these kids.

After millions of motivational talks and insults on our parents and their financial status, they told us to pay for registration fee (about twenty something k) I told them I only have 5k in my acctount which is actually for my upkeep, they told me to invest it, that was when I started feeling suspicious.

I told them I can't do trans and I don't have an atm card, a lady said she would follow me to bank to make the transfer,( meanwhile I was already looking for escape route)

Even with the crowd in bank the lady insisted that we should wait.

When it got to our turn the man said we can't transfer money to other banks , I told the lady I'm going to transfer it when I get home buh she asked me to wait for her that she wants to collect a Uba acct no. From the oga.
