Staff monitoring this thread will be having a massive laugh reading that NLNG GT recruitment is based on “connection”. I wrote this same exam in 2014. Our own was even “bad” because there was a WAEC aptitude test before the SHL. That WAEC, in my opinion, was done to fulfill “local content” requirement. It was the nastiest exam I wrote (second only to the nonsense that dragnet does). NLNG may have its flaws o, but not massively recruiting GTs based on “connection”. The IA will burn down to ashes one day if they have to recruit incompetent people based on “connect”. During GT onboarding, there was a term that popped up, Previously Unidentified Recruitment Error (PURE). They will find and uproot any one identified as PURE. So they put in their utmost to ensure that the process only hires the very best. Will previous recruitments have had “leaks”? Possibly. But I don’t think any has experienced the kinds of leaks that this process has experienced. It’s large-scale.

Since the exam was proctored they should be able to identify the problem and nip it in the bud.
I wonder why people waited till the very last minute to take the exam and now they can’t login anymore. Also there should be a pattern of answers those who cheated followed, so I believe these things are easy to identify.

Some people reason in reverse gears you know, and it's really a pity. Many gave their best towards this thing without any 'influence' but a few God-knows-sent-by-who are hell-bent on truncating the process.

I remember asking a few years ago from someone who’s high up there and the person said plainly that it’s always a free and fair employment without interference. So if airsaylongcome is saying same thing , it Only corroborated what I heard about the process being free and fair. In nigeria a lot of people are hungry and boisterous and anyone can promise anything, it doesn’t mean they can do it or can even get close. The charade that the so called unknown started is enough to scatter everything.
The first set of people who took within the first 5-6 days should be exempt from the cancellation if they will cancel but also investigated via their camera recordings.
I once took an high stake exam outside Nigeria that got postponed in it’s entirety due to a breach and candidates were all investigated, the culprits were fished out.
I feel bad for those who have done this whole process honestly.

I am already talking to the airline to add my baby, thank you so much. It just looked like the information on the website of most airlines require a ticket- whether in lap or on seat. And needed me to procure a seat if I wanted to use a car seat.

So how would the baby bassinet work for take off and landing? Is there a restraint? Thank you so much for taking your time to respond to me.

During take off you hold your baby and when the seat beat signs are off you use the bassinet, same applies to landing.

You don’t require a car seat in the aeroplane, all strollers and car seats are checked in. A baby bassinet will be provided for you by the flight attendants.
Did you leave on a one way ticket? If you didn’t leave on a one way ticket then you only need to call the airline to add your baby to your ticket, they’ll give you the cost implication over the phone and ask you to pay via card over the phone.

Was there a heartbeat? Did your OB tell you to proceed on bed rest? Did he give you any medication or pessaries? Did you get a dating scan at 6-8 weeks? If you did what was the edd the dating scan revealed.
Please ask these questions from him that way you’ll know if everything is okay. I pray everything is okay by Gods grace.

Myself and my family have been on Canada PR waiting list since 2019 and still nothing.
I've called customer service, sent emails and raised web formBut all to no avail.
In September when i last spoke with a customer care representative, she said the only thing left is eligibility verification but till now still nothing.
The only option we haven't explored is to employ immigration lawyer.....but we can't do that now as it's expensive and we can't afford that noe.

If you can afford a pregnancy massage from a professional please get one, it helps with edema and also what’s your doctor saying about the swelling being painful? Please speak to your doctor.

It's pregnancy induced bp. I had it in my last pregnancy. At 38 weeks my BP was 140. Not to scare you but doctor told me it's safer the baby is outside as soon as possible. So he gave me 3 days after which I was induced and had my son alhamdullilahi. Where I'm going is, your BP is 140, and you are 24 weeks,I think you need to be monitored in the hospital and taken care of so it won't increase further. I'm thinking the doctor should have suggested admission for proper monitoring because you are still far and it's a precious baby and not just giving you vasoprin and let you go home. Pls you need another doctor opinion on this. the bp will only be back to your usual when you have your baby. Please go to another hospital for second opinion. This is not something you cause or anything, it's Induced by the baby and doctors don't know why only that it will go once the baby is out. I wish you safest delivery ever with your bundle of joy. Seek another doctors opinion pls. It's not your fault at all

You hit the nail on the head and You couldn’t have said it any better. I have had it twice and the only cure once it’s not coming down is delivery of the baby, every child is precious but waiting for seven years for this and then the doctor is not on top of the situation is not satisfactory enough to me.

The moment high blood pressure is detected in pregnancy they should admit for observation immediately and also check urine for protein so they can be on top the situation. I’m not comfortable at all too.

I'm 24weeks pregnant & on Monday during the antinatal vitals they discovered my BP is 140 (i don't know the parameters). I was surprised because it has always been 120. I was placed on vasoprin 75mg 1daily for 2weeks.. I'm worried because I redid the test on Tuesday & it's still 140. I don't know what caused this because I sleep very well & don't think. The only thing I'm suspecting is that I resumed office on that same Monday. Could it be work stress or pls has anyone experienced this & how do I reduce the BP? I'm really worried because it took me 7 years to have this pregnancy & don't want anything to happen 2me or my baby. Thnx

Take your aspirin faithfully after a meal, purchase a good bp monitor to monitor your bp at home at intervals and make sure you’re recording the values you get(tell your doctor what you’re getting). Take this bp matter seriously don’t let it escalate. It is well with you by Gods grace.

Sabi mamas, abeg come shook mouth for this matter. There is no need to be worried though, work with your doctor and don't stress yourself. All is well in Jesus name.

All will be well but there’s need to be worried as this is one of the signs of preeclampsia that should be taken seriously so it doesn’t escalate hence the aspirin75mg as a preventive measure from the hospital, if it stays at 140 then they may have to put her on bed rest to prevent them from delivering the baby early. @iamfertile please make sure your doctor is on top on this bp issue and if you feel he’s not doing enough don’t hesitate to switch to where you feel comfortable or a better facility if you can afford it , I’m talking from experience.

The person that I know who got shortlisted applied a few hours to the deadline and didn’t even add primary school leaving certificate because it wasn’t ready as of then. So far as you’re within the time frame you’re good. There’s nothing as punctuality, they gave a deadline and once you’re within the deadline and you’re qualified you get picked. They know what they’re looking out for.

Uwc. Cos a lot of agents are on NL disguising to be visa applicants and hiding under several monikers. Once he/she tells you an agent assisted him/her secure a date, the same person but with a different moniker would attest to it and before you know it just to lure unsuspecting applicants, you'd send a DM and they'd share the agent's ( their number) with you.

Just do it yourself. American Consulate warned on this and it'd because they know many had fallen victim already. If it's only money that is being parted with, it's much better than being handed a life ban.

This pattern has been obvious on the thread. Only unsuspecting people will fall. Even if I used agent for date I’m not coming on Nairaland to advertise for anyone after paying for date why do I owe you advert. It’s those who stand to gain something from it that come to advertise openly here.

Did nothing much..

The nurses gave me pain reliver every 6hrs, took tylenol(acetaminophen), ibruprohin(Advil)and hydromorphine.
Then I started working that evening of CS, nurses always come to take me for walk morning and evening. Eventhough I Stayed in the hosp for two nights. I tried to walk that really helped. Day of CS pain wasn't that much, i even ate better sweet fried rice.lol. Day 2 pain was more when I asked why, they said because the spinal has completely worn off, Day 3 was better I even had my bath myself on Day 3, Day 4 pain same as DAY 3 but Day 5 the pain disappeared myself surprise,on Day 5 I only feel pain when I try to laugh but now I am very okay. I also kept at taking the drugs too like twice daily, I intend to stop taking it this weekend too.

Also, I didn't give birth in naija too because[b] naija doctors are so crazy with CS, learnt they stay more than 1hr in operating room[/b]. my CS didn't last more than 35 mins both the sewing.it was so fast and swift.

Depends on the facility, doctor and or hospital you use in Nigeria. When you pay for good health care in Nigeria, if you can afford it, your eyes won’t see rubbish. By the way I have had EMERGENCY CS in Nigeria and didn’t last more than 30 minutes so I don’t know about one hour C-section, pain management was great and by the third day I was able to move around.

Thank you for the responses.I have tried tracking and it keeps telling me invalid reference number,then I sent a mail with just my passport no and got a reply that Mo status update for the passport number.If I can’t make it this week then I will cancel the plans to travel.So sad!

Please give them a call tomorrow or go to the DHL office where you selected to pickup just to see what’s going on but please call first as soon as they’re open. Hoping something positive come through for you!
