Hi Debee,
Congratulations!!!
Please how did you upload all these documents you mentioned in your post. I am having difficulty uploading all my documents cos they are a lot but all are important.

Thank you

Hello Chijudy,
Thank you so much.
I didn't upload the documents myself, I just sent them to an immigration consultant, and they submitted it on my behalf.

Sorry to hear about the refusal of your baby's application.

If you have the time to read the info on this thread , you can apply by yourself. If not, you may go with the agents or reach out to me.

As for your husband and two sons, did you indicate in your study permit application that they would join you later? If yes, you may start their application before you leave.

But in any case, try to delay the application a bit so that you would have gotten your study permit in Canada before their applications are finalized (cos some visa officers refard your spouse ineligible for c42 if you haven't gotten your study permit). Then you can upload the study permit to support their application.

Thank you so much.
The agents I used previously are going to reapply for my daughter cos I paid them for it.

For my husband and kids, I didn't indicate they'll join later, cos I used them as home ties.

Thank you for the advice.
I appreciate.

Hello everyone,

Please I have a few questions, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out please.

I recently just got PPR for study visa, to resume in May.
I used an agent, and was told my 10month old baby's application wasn't approved, and they're about to apply for a reconsideration.

These agents have always wasted a lot of time, even after I gave them all the documents they requested for, and that's why I couldn't make September 2022 intake nor January 2023 intake.

I'm having second thoughts using them for the applications of my husband and two sons (4 and 6 years old).

My husband and sons were used as my home tie, so I'm worried about how to navigate that detail if I chose to do their application myself.

Also, is it okay to apply for them now before I leave for Canada in April?

Thank you (in anticipation)

They will assist you.

Thank you blkomo.

I just got this message from them:

I hope this means they've stamped it.

No I haven't.
I tried to chat them up today, but their agents were busy.

I really do not think you should worry since they have given you the acknowledgement email. Your passport is officially in their custody. Check the email to see if there is any tracking ID ...use it to track the status of your passport on their site ;
https://www.vfsglobal.ca/IRCC-GPTWave1/Track/Index?q=shSA0YnE4pLF9Xzwon/x/CQ1P0LBKn66dLdNUfueK+yzShCR5+RPxbigEFl/W14/B2caAAJ+pjEGG2r7ohd6rA==

My situation is different and its giving me concerns. I sent my passport on Saturday 21/1/23 via DHL PH and it was delivered to VFS ABUJA on Tuesday 24/1/23 by 10.15am . Since then, VFS has not even given me any notice of receipt of documents/acknowledgement email. I am worried about it. Please is this normal? Does anyone know what next I should do?

Aaawww, thank you so much.
There is a tracking number, I'll check it now.

I hope you get a response from them soonest.

Good day house,
I submitted my passport to VFS Abuja last Wednesday, and asides the initial mail that they've received it, I've not heard anything else.
Is there a way I can find out what's going on over there please?
Thank you.

I got three mails from them the next day (that's last Thursday), I haven't heard anything else from them since then.
Still waiting.

You will get notifications from VFS on every stage until it reaches DHL for delivery. Check the email you wrote as your contact regularly.

July 18 applicant here, and waiting...

Good morning house!

It's PPR for me!
July 2022 applicant
Centennial college, Toronto.

Submitted- July 18, 2022
Biometrics- July 28, 2022
Upfront medicals-April 2022
Medicals passed-November 21, 2022
PPR- January 13, 2023

Turns out my PPR was out as at the time I made the statement in quote, but I didn't get to know because I used an agent!

I also don't know when, or if eligibility started or passed. The agent is not the communicating type.

I gave them a whole lot of documents, I don't know exactly which was used, or not.

Bottom line is, IT ENDED IN PRAISE!!!

Thank you to everyone on this page who kept reassuring those waiting, it meant a lot coming on here to celebrate with others and get hopeful for my expectations!

For those still waiting, hold on, be strong, cos what God cannot do does not exist!!!

June 2022 applicant. Longest wait of my life but i give God the glory.

Thanks so much everyone. Especially the guy who dropped Q_life email address for me, was really helpful, after calling them so many times for booking and they told me no date available, was able to book through mail. Cos medical date was super tight that period.

Congratulations!

Hello Deebee13,

Chill and try to save some stress for IRCC. Things evolve. As long as the slip or paper contains biometrics payment, biometrics, passport biodata, and VFS authentication information, you are good.

Also, you can compare with others that submitted (almost) at the same time as you.

Success is all I wish You!

smiley Thank you so much.
Will do.

Hello Trailblazer21,

With your profile, just relax and be hopeful for a sweet love letter.

Success is all I wish You!

Good morning,

I did my biometrics in Abuja last week, and I was given a photocopy of my passport back, with a sticker that has my biometrics unique number on it, and the signature of the lady that took my information, and told that's all

Reading through the previous pages of this thread, I read about a yellow slip, but I wasn't given that.

Please I was hoping you or anyone who knows can tell me if this is a problem.
Thank you so much.

I had the same challenge and this is my advice:
Log in to your gtworld app and check your account officer if you don't know him/her akready. First put a call through to help your fast track. If he fails to do that, go to the branch you chose and ask to speak with the most senior at the fx desk. This worked for me. Good luck.

Thank you.
I'm at the bank right now, will try this

Hello WiZiggy

What is the status on your tradesystem?

I will advise you contact your bank and inform them that your school's deadline is the next day...

Peace

Hello @makano, I have a similar case as wiziggy, I've been going to the bank almost every day, but the payment finally went through yesterday (15th Feb), which was the deadline for the payment.
My issue now is that, Gtbank is yet to send me a proof of payment (telex), aside the alert (text message) I got.
I applied to Centennial College Toronto, and the deposit letter states that if I've not paid by 15th, I might not get an acceptance letter if the program is full.

I don't know what to do at this point please.

they asked for 6 months average balance, but most Nigerian banks wont state it hence people use 6 months banks statement. If you are using gift deed or money from sale of an asset 6 months bank statement is not required.

Hello ednut1, please do you know what documents I can present to IRCC for sale of an asset (eg, plots of land)?. Thank you

Hello house! I am 34 years old lawyer who wish to migrate with my family (family of 5) I have my Master’s evaluated and My total CRS score after my hubby and I wrote Ielts is at 384. IELTS is a problem for me and would want to migrate via other means. I attended a webinar recently about applying through PNP and they claimed that professional such as lawyers, doctors etc are not qualified to apply tru PNP or any other option except express entry since they need to take exams in Canada to be able to get a job. Please professional in the house how true is this? What are my best options??

You should try to Max out your IELTS (both of you actually), your score should be 454, which is more hopeful than 384.
The only other option is french.

Hello everyone.
I got this apple IPad 4 in December 2015, and was using it right up to December 2016 when the screen shattered.
I haven't used it since then.
Two days ago I decided to repair the screen and was told it also had sensor issues.
After it was repaired, a side of the screen was malfunctioning and it made me enter the wrong code, so the iPad was disabled.
I went to flash it today and tried entering my apple ID, but it keeps saying "incorrect apple id".
I don't know what to do anymore.
Thanks in anticipation.
