Thanks for your 2 kobo. You certainly very right about the damning effects of stress. However the sky-rocketing of my BP was guessingly tied to some hormonal disorders. Guy, I am a health therapist so I didn't write you out of ignorance. When doctors say hormonal imbalance is the cause. The next logical question is what caused my hormones to become imbalanced? The body creates balance through homeostasis. When that balance is disrupted something led to it. Usually stress is the culprit and stress could come from myriad and unimaginable sources.

Mind, body and spirit are inseparable. If your mind or spirit is not at ease, before long your body will show that unease or 'dis-ease' as disease. It's why even doctors are prescribing lifestyle changes as healing tools.

Hormonal imbalance is at the body level. To solve the problem permanently you need to move to another level (you can't solve a problem at the same level that created it). The next level is the mind.
