Hahahaha
Jennyclay's mostly trolling on here. Very unserious person behind that account.. I have lived an extremely privileged life and I thank the stars for it - however I am old enough and experienced enough to understand the struggle of poverty and its not something I take lightly. Many poor people have through their sheer strength and determination, risen to the pinnacles of power and wealth. There are too many to count in history. Even slaves have become kings. They are far more worthy than many born with silver spoons. Not that that girl is a silver spoon child. I can see from miles away she is an aje pako. |

Jennyclay: I have never lived in such environment and I will never live in such environment
I can’t even visit someone living in such an environment not to talk of living there myself . If you say you cant visit, you are shallow, and your mind and spirit are low before the universe. You are proud, and stupid pride goeth before a fall. You are worthless in the sight of God, because God cares about the poor, the desperate and the needy. God protects them all. You have no faith, and no depth. You are to be condemned as a worthless shallow soul who is no good to humanity. As for me, not only can I visit them, I can stay there if necessary. For the those who call themselves the first shall be the last. |

Validated: Push and start presidency. You came into office at a time of economic downturn and created 48 ministries, highest ever in Nigeria existence. Thought you guys said it was required. Now, you are 9 months late.
I hear they have now resumed Fotex intervention. What we advised 9 months ago and they call us "Wailers". Now reverting to same after monumental damages have been done The most annoying thing is once you criticize them, they will tag you an "Obidient." WTF is that. Its almost similar to the way anyone who criticizes Israel is tagged antisemitic and anyone who criticizes the transgender agenda is called transphobic. |

Righteousness2: You lack wisdom bro. If any man lacks wisdom let him seek the word of God and ask God in prayers for wisdom so as not to fall to the capricies of the devil. You side step the question. You worship a foreign religion which is based on ritual human sacrifice (the murder of Jesus on the cross) and you call that your salvation. Then you are so daft as to worship a nation that rejects the idea you live for. You are so dense you cannot see the racism in your idea that Jews are special above all other people. |

Righteousness2: Nigeria should be careful in this ISRAEL matter so as not to add to the confusion in the country. Nigeria already has so much disaters on its table.
What Journalists are you talking about? is the Hamas terrorists Journalists ? Or the so called doctors , UNRWA officials and so on who are Caught to be Terrorists.
The IDF acts with utmost precision, targeting Terrorists and taking Measures to avoid harm to Civilians who are really innocent like no army on earth does in a War.
We must remember that ISRAEL is not in a Party. ISRAEL is in a War for its Survival.
I Stand Fully with ISRAEL
You preach Christ and support a country that rejects Christ. |

Ojemedad: I haven’t been to Norway but I can tell all you are saying is 100% correct because I’ve had a close friend who’s a Norwegian for the past 6 years. 1. Yes Norway is very expensive, you get to realise things are way cheaper in Nigeria. They pay lots of tax this in turn gives them free education up to university level and free medical checks 2. I love the language, I can understand little. Jeg kan forsta 😀, Norwegian and Swedish are similar in language 3. No idea about that 4. Yes they love snacks, they have soup also that they normally take with bread. 5. One of the most honest and sincere people you will ever meet are the Norwegians. They have one of the lowest crime rate in that work that their police doesn’t even go out with guns, their prisons and so few, foreigners make up 80% of the prison 6. Very clean city 7. Western culture never pollute their ways of life, young girls dress modestly and are loyal 8. The reason there are few smokers in Norway compared to other European countries is that there is high tax on cigarette and alcohol, it makes it very very expensive. Those that live in the border towns with Sweden have to buy cheaper there If you are used to the busy and bubbling life of Nigeria you will get depressed in Norway, everyone there live a reserved live Scandinavians generally. Clean, honest, polite, civil, responsible. |

But I don't know in which way it could have Bern done without the ripple effects. On second thought, a one yeae period within which to get all 3 refineries in full capacity would have been the best option. If we cease importing fuel, then the issue of subsidy goes away. I entirely agree with the second thought. |

Politics › Re: Will There Be Steady Electricity In Nigeria A Century From Now? by DeepSight(op): 11:59am On Feb 26, 2024 |
nairalanda1: No, power is largely private.
Plus even if it was government owned, it would still have to charge a cost reflective tarrif to pay for a lot of stuff
Like now, most of our power comes from gas. Most gas suppliers want to be paid in dollars . Therein lies the issue.
Also when GSM came, nitel was charging non cost reflective tarrif. They lost money and could not compete with mtn and Airtel.
You got to make money to survive..we need something like 3 trillion yearly for some years to get power supply up to speed. Subsides plus what the sector earns yearly no reach Alright. Although I didn't say power is largely public sector. I said it has significant public sector involvement. TCN for example is still government. |
Politics › Re: Will There Be Steady Electricity In Nigeria A Century From Now? by DeepSight(op): 11:54am On Feb 26, 2024 |
nairalanda1: Those subsides cannot do an adequate job of covering the losses. Because cost of production is always increasing.
Therein lies the problem .
If subsides worked, why isn't governors subdisidisjng GSM or dstv for us? Or foodstuffs? My brother I am not sure your are comparing apples for apples. The GSM industry is wholly private sector led whereas the power industry has significant public sector involvement. There's a huge difference. |
