PoliticsRe: Otedola Donates 1 Billion Naira To Pdp , Dangote 3biliion. May God Help The Poor by DeepSoul(f): 9:19am On Nov 20, 2008
Kai! I can't fault the "individual" donations. Every man is free to do what he pleases with his money

But requesting for N50 million (N1.4 billion) from 28 governors is crazier!

Think of how many schools and/or hospitals that can build.

All for a building that will house the most corrupt set of individuals

Nigeria my Nigeria!
PoliticsRe: Yaradua Marginalize The South In Ministerial Nomination by DeepSoul(f): 9:08am On Nov 20, 2008
While we agree that we should focus more on capabilities rather than ethnicity, what do the northern nominees have to offer?

Like someone said, these are the same people who have been in power since the Obasanjo administration and they had little or no impact.

I wouldnt even call them recycled cos some recycled items still have value!

Beyond the northern agenda, what is someone like Sam Egwu doing on the list?

He was governor for 8yrs and I do not know what he achieved

I see someone who's been a minister before and was a failure on the list

I see the same old people who have been stealing money over the years

Initially, I didnt blame Yaradua for the group of ministers we had as we all know they were imposed on him by Obj

But even now that he has the power the decide, the story isnt any much different. Im disappointed

See Sam Egwu. Firstly he wanted to be President, then Vice-president, then PDP chairman. He doesnt seem to have any direction.

As long as he's in a position to steal money, it's ok.

And then they put Dora Akunyili to "normalise" it. That, to me, isn't enough!

When will we start moving forward? I feel like crying

When you say payback's a bitch, I hope you don't mean what I think you do,

The fact that we have had cases of Nigerian robbers doesnt mean innocent Nigerians deserve to die.

"Remember what happened to the Israelites that abused Moses and how God sent earthquake to swallow them"

The key word used is God. God sent earthquake, Not Moses,

If someone says something bad against a man of God, it may not be right but it isn't your duty or anyone else's to "punish" the "offender"

LEAVE IT TO GOD!

Haba!

This isn't the first time I'm hearing something like this about this pastor.

Heard of and actually KNOW of several other similar incidences.

It's just not right. I wonder what members of his church learn?

And by the way, if he spent 1billion on a juju man and burnt N270 million, how much was he going to get from the contract which made him do all these?

$100 billion?

To all the umemployed graduates:

In addition to becoming a juju priest/priestess, you have the option of working in a cementary just incase you see fools coming to burn N270 million.

Grab the money and burn the fool instead!

Bloody idiots!

I wonder what kinda money they'r lookin for!

There are thousands of innocent people in jail. God hasn't helped them; He knows best so let's not bring God into this!

She does look innocent but that doesn't mean she is.

Check out her profile - young widow. The loss of her husband is still fresh on her mind.

He was most likely the breadwinner of the family. She has young kids to take care of.

School fees, house rent, food, fuel for generator, She's got bills to pay! Perfect candidate,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the federal government is headed by a northerner, does that prevent the southern governors who are supposedly wiser and more intelligent in government business from developing their respective domains? Is it the president that decides how the governors spend the monthly federal allocations to their states? Why can’t these wise men of the south become models for the rest o follow? My dear pro-south activist should answer these questions honestly or hold their peace.
Supposedly wiser and more intelligent as considered by who?

Are they self-acclaimed wise-men or is the writer just "dashing" them the title to aid his arguement and because it's convenient to do so?

AutosRe: Rivers State Government To Auction Cars by DeepSoul(f): 5:05pm On Apr 14, 2008
Hmmm, Haven't heard of it but even if it's true, I hate to be pessimistic but it'll most likely be man-know-man. You'd have

to have super "long legs" to be a beneficiary. See what happened with the Odili taxis (as they call it). It was meant to

be a sort of poverty alleviation thing. But they ended up giving it to people in government and their relatives. These are

people who already own a gazillion cars! G.R.E.E.D!!!

So, if this is true, I wouldn't expect anything different

Sure, there are a gazillion needs to fill. Business wise, they are called market gaps. Problem is, where does a fresh grad
get funds for this "filling"?

@poster
I'm in the same situation with you - awaiting NYSC but I'm already working. Talk to people you know. Preach to EVERYONE how badly you need to keep busy and earn money and you'd be amazed at how much you can do without a certificate! Marketing jobs are usually the easiest to come by in cases like this. All you have to have is basic IQ and good communication skills.

On the other hand, you can do good by volunteering for a charity or learn a new language and most importantly read, read and did I say read?!

Prior to now, I would never have been caught dead thinkin of doin any man's laundry (except my father) not to talk of

actually doing it! But since I met one "angelic man" some months ago, a lot of my views changed o! I recently just

started doing his laundry (underwear only) and it gives me joy everytime I do so!

It isn't that big a deal especially if your partner is someone who would do ANYTHING (or something close to that) for

you. I guess it's just a form of showing someone how much you appreciate him or her.

Visited Calabar for the first time this past weekend so I don't really know much.

But I do know it's a beautiful and clean city. And boy did I have fun just in about 2 days!

@EPOMA
Talk about Eleme junction traffic!! Tufiakwa! When I was leaving for Calabar on friday, the traffic there was unimaginable

Imagine the sharp contrast when I got to Calabar!

After such a relaxing weekend, came back right into traffic! I just shook my head and realized I couldn't live in the bustle of this mad town!

Calabar it is oh! Korrect town, planning to spend xmas there!

I still think it's far fetched! Besides, you can actually load an mtn phone using *555* the

pin#. The 1 in between the *555 and the pin can be done without. I wonder where people

get these stories from anyway!
PoliticsRe: Speaker Etteh To Hold Birthday Bash In Bowie, Us? by DeepSoul(f): 10:40pm On Aug 15, 2007
The whole of Nigeria is not big enough for her to hold a bash? Or not good enough??

Ok let's say the lecture coincided with her birthdaY. On whose account are the National

Assembly members attending this bash? The part about the members "abandoning

constituencies and other pressing engagements" is especially heart breaking. And by the

way, what kind of paper does she want to present with Nuhu Ribadu that has to be done

seven seas away? Why don't they just kuku start to hold their Assembly sessions in

America!
